is this certificate for KEN or for his child?
marsh has a "baby" that isnt really his but his name is on the certificate. we have no plans to bring her here, will we still need to do anything with her birthcertificate??

Along those lines this baby momma is pregnant again and texted me and said the baby is his. He has practically no contact with this woman. I dont think he is cheating on me. but here is the question. How did this woman get my number? and she "marsh has a new baby on the way he will never love you how he loves me"
now, let it be known she is very loose. I do not think he has cheated on me. BUT..how did she get my number?? AND she made reference to something personal he and I did..how could she possibly know that?
Guys, I dont know what to do!

The best person to ask those questions of is your husband. He is the only one who can answer these questions. Do not be accusatory, just ask him how she knows about that very personal thing you both did. Let him explain it to you. Just my $0.2

Good luck you all. I hope you all have successful interviews.

Are there anyone else who have an interview date scheduled?

This is interesting. i thought that the JA Embassy always did immigrant visas and non-immigrant visa interviews on opposite days....like tues/thurs=immigrant and mon/wed=non-immigrant. if thats changed then great! Cause it means that each visa has gained an extra 2 days a week for a possible interview.

Marlita;

Remember that NVC now schedules immigrant interviews, so they do not follow the Tues/Thurs or Mon/Wed ####### that Kingston was doing. They schedule as they see fit, it seems like.

Well, since you are getting prescription, I would recommend phenergan. Works better than the other two, but the smallest dose (6.25mg) will knock you out. This is what we give the post-ops with nausea. Ask your MD about it and see what he/she says. Good luck, and I hope you find something that works.

Hello Yardies -

Gil - I may have some experience with this same situation.

Henry brought the wrong birth certificate to his K1 interview - it was a copy and not the original with the gold seal. They denied him. I was furious - completely furious. I must have spent $100 on phone cards - I kept calling the embassy until finally I got through to someone and explained the situation to them. I was like "he lives about 4 hours away and he's on his way home to get it right now, he can be back in the morning". It was funny though - she knew exactly who he was. So, long story short, she gave me a ladies name for him to ask for at the gate. He went back the next morning and asked the guard for the woman and she came out and it was all taken care of.

It was such a stressful day - I broke down in tears from all of the emotions I was going through.

If that's the case. I would have ken go and tell them that whatever agency u spoke to this morning, advised u not to reschedule the case, have him show a reciept for the new certificate he's about to order and tell them he was advised to get a blue slip and go from there. He might have to show them he's ahead of the game. so they don't deny him.

yup...make sure you tell him who you spoke with and if she has a id number because sometimes they give that out so that when he tells them he has that info as well so they don't think he is making it up!!!

Remember that Gill will be there representing. Any yuh knoa har mout arready laughing.gif laughing.gif

Hey Guys good morning to you all. Have not been on-line a lot these past few days. Been working like crazy and trying not to obsess about Mike's RFE. Waiting for the new one to come in the mail from him. I am trying my best to stay away from VJ, because it is like an obsession and I get more and more depressed when I log on and see people getting their interview dates and having their interviews and I am stuck waiting to reply to the RFE.

Mind you, I am very happy and supportive of all who have had progress with their cases, but at the same time I am a little down in the dumps cause I miss Mike so much and I'm not trying to plan a trip to see him. I am trying to conserve my funds because I know that when he comes, it's gonna take a while for him to get used to the place and find a job.

I love you all so much and that you for all the sincere support that all have proveded in one way or the other.

But if she is here on a school trip and needs to get back home, the Jamaican consulate is the place to address this with. She does not necessarily need a passport to go back home. The consulate will issue her papers so she can travel back home after reporting her passport as lost. She can apply for a new passport when she gets home to replace the old one. Just have her call the Jamican consulate in NYC.

Claire, you should check out shoebuy.com as well - I am the shoe queen, can't count how many pairs I have oops8rh.gif Shoebuy has great, great prices, free shipping, easy return policies - And larger sizes - a search on size 11 women's brings up over 6000 pairs of shoes. I found them when I was looking for Crocs sassari -

Shopped from them constantly since!

Thanks Sus, I will try them out. Good looking out good.gif good.gif

I also get work shoes from payless or I go to foot print..don't know if u guys know about it..there is one is Jersey that has the best selections especially for work or out

I mostly buy work shoes. I bought one pair for $115 and it has gone 6 months without looking worn. I love a good bargain lik the next person and always look for sales. I have problem finding me size though (10W or 11M). Sometimes ehn I find them they look so ugly. It's like when they make shoe and clothes for "big" women, they have to make them ugly or you have to pay a ton to get the really good looking ones.

I buy at payless, because they do make good leather sandals for the summer. good.gif

u know i rather buy payless for my daughter here than buy it for my niece and nephew even my step kids...they have less wear and tear here than there...some women can be veryyyy unreasonable sometimes...

i looked at it by gender, girls are somewhat new to me. my son i would buy brand name, cause he's harder on his stuff, but I will buy payless. girls i would buy payless because they are going to have more shoes to choose from. does that make sense

I think I buy whatever i like only if it's reasonable..if it's cute and the budget allows i'm getting it..my husband laughs at me all the time..I love target

me like target too, just never have the time to stop and look on the shoes them.

Great topics good.gif I'll post my experince soon.

But I have question - Is there anything your SO won't do in the house?

Damien and I share the housework. We both clean and do our own laundry. I do majority of the cooking. My daughter does the dishes. However, the first year we lived together he would get so upset when I asked him to take the trash out. I mean we would get into huge drag out fights over the trash....our neighbors knocked on the door once because we were too loud. It wasn't like I woke him up in the middle of the night to take it out or anything like that. He would simply get upset because I asked him....the nerve of me.

be right back...

Chris will do anything in the house he does not mind. He washes clothes, dishes, cooks straightens up stuff. However when he first got here he had an issue with washing our clothes together and also mention gettin his own towels/wash clothes i just laughed on that note but after we went to my moms and he saw they all wash their clothes together, he was like i guess its ok lol. I admit i did kinda get mad i said are ur clothes too good to wash with mine? So what is with the separate washing of men and womens clothes anyone know?

We had the same isssue with washing the clothes....I just laugh too. He's over it now. Thank G-d. My husband still uses that rag of a towel he brought ova from JA. I thought I threw it away but it keeps comin back mad.gif
