The lady that I spoke with was nice, but then she started to read a pre-printed response stating that he was not scheduled for a March interview (DUH) and that they are waiting on the embassy blah blah blah. The house I was going to purchase the people changed their mind. I'll pray that things work out for you and Ken. I had a bit of a struggle to get my apartment, they were going back and forth on whether they should approve me or not, because I own a house (I didn't understand that). Girl, I just started to cry. Went home got on my knees an prayed. That's all I could do. I have so much going on right now in my life with the K-1 process, finiding a place to live, finding renters, packing, moving, finding a before and after care for my son, getting him registered for school and dealing with my VERY disrepectful EX -- I feel like I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. Many times I feel like running away, just to take a break from the stressors in my life, but I sit back and reflect and look at what God has blessed me with. I'm healthy I have a healthy and loving son I can wake up every morning and get out of bed and stand on my 2 feet I have a great job with excellent benefits (so that I can provide for myself and my son) I have roof over my head I have family and friends that love me and want the best for me in life In a few months or so I'll marry the person I want to share the rest of my life with. Gill, I as I ask God to order my steps, I ask him to order you steps as well. So, to my VJ sisters God has a plan for each of us. He wants us to fulfill and he'll provide the STRENGTH we need to carry out his will. Okay. Now, mi hungri Lawny, mi woulda tink by now you woulda already eat yu three course breakfast Claire, I'm so damn hungry I'm about the ROAST one of the birds that's on the balcony at my job. I mean, I can't even describe what he looks like, but it looked like he was attacked by a 100 bees. Then he gets upset, because his wife and the doctors told him what the creame is used for. So, he's mad at his wife and it's her fault. He's a grown man of 37 years old. He yelling and me and his wife, saying, how you can put something that fi go pon unu P*&$#Y in the bathroom. I asked him where are we suppose to put it. He thought it was travel toothpaste. You just had me laughing so hard the people at work are looking at me funny!! My hubby doesn't read that well either - thank God he hasn't done anything like this yet! Rhonda, I really didn't want to laugh, but it was just too damn funny. He's still in the hospital. They trying to figure out what was in the cream that caused him to react that way. They won't let him leave until most of sweeling is down. His eyes are still swollen shut. You know......if he gives her any trouble in the future, she can just slip some into his food!!!!!! Yah, honey, it's just mayonaise!!!!! JOMO!!!????? When I went to ja last year, Mike used one of my razors and has talked about it ever since saying that it is the best shave he's had. The razor is pink with a triple blade. The bathroom doesn't bother me as bad as it used to. Hairs and clothes all over the place until I clean them up. The kitchen drives me crazy. He cooks with every pot, pan, and utensil in the house and then leaves them for me to do the dishes. That's our deal, he cooks and I do the dishes. So wishing I had never said that! He's really good at doing the laundry. He just never takes it out of the dryer. Once I catch it days later, it's so wrinkled, I have to run it again. I work for this company called Lush which makes handmade all natrual bath bombs, bubble bars, soaps, shampoos, creams and lotions, etc. My husband is constantly using my stuff to get rid of his ashy skin, his flaky head, etc. It's almost comical when we argue over that stuff. His skin is actually beautiful now and the scalp issues are going away, so I suppose I should just be happy about it! I have nothing to say yet. Good Afternoon All, Andrew finished his medical and all is well.......Had all shots yesterday at a clinic near him in St. Catherine and they gave him everything he needed...... However, he said that he met several individuals who had appointments on the 15th of April as well......A lady with her son.....husband here in States filing for them.......he said alot of kids that parents were filing for....... He complains about the heat all the time, but the drastic change in temp might be a challenge. He did fine. He just complained a lot. I had tried to warn him that what he thought was "hot" and "cold" in Jamaica, I considered "warm" and "cool" in relation to St. Louis. Our heat and humidity is out of contol June-August and it can get pretty cold in the winter (which this year is still going on apparently!!!!). The first thing he said to me in regards to weather was that he could never wear a long sleeve shirt. Ha Ha.....now, sometimes he wears 3 or 4 of them at once. Long underwear is his friend. In summer, he stays out of the sun. In the winter, he dresses in layers and braves the weather. He has to take the bus and walk sometimes so he's learned to dress appropriately. There were some awkward moments in the beginning and just the normal adjustment of living with someone who does things different than you. Things will be fine Learn to laugh at things and not let them stress you out. There were many times when I would do something "embarrasing" but I tried my best not to let it bother me and as days and weeks went by I got more comfortable and used to sharing the space. I know what you mean Yards. Mike is an old military man and you know how they are. I stayed at his house when I went ot Ja in October and kinda liked what I experienced. But, you never know for the long-term what it is going to be like. I just have to deal with it. You can buy it at the health food store or GNC. It is a natural product that your body produces and it help you fall and stay asleep.
