He will need the police cert when he drops off/sends in his visa application and he will need to get his medical only after you have received packet #4 i.e the interview appointment.

The equivalent of a notary in Ja is a Justice of the peace or JP. they are the ones that notarize documents

He will need the passport when he is filling out the visa application itself and for the medical and police cert. The visa application (DS-230) I think it is will be done after your approval (NOA-2)

Girl face your fear and go get the shot. lol. I am not sure about adults getting the mist because I have only heard of it being given to children. The drawback is the the mist is a live vaccine while the shot is a dead vaccine. See my drift????

I hear you kimmy, but no vaccine is 100% effective. So you rememeber a couple of years ago during the flu season there was an outbreak? this happened because they were vaccinatin against the wrong strain and they had to scramble to create a new vaccine and there was even a shortage. You win some and you lose some, but i still would get the protection. I get the flu shot every year and when I moved here from NY I got the flu long after the flu season was over. I got it in June and season was over in March. So you never really know wacko.gif The doctor gives you tamiflu and the symptoms are less drastic on the system. good.gif

You know, Kimmy, when I went to Ja this past May, I kinda saw the signs. things were not the same as they were the last two times I visited him. I had a strange feeling before about our interaction on the phone so that trip was to confirm that. That was one of the reasons i stayed with a friend instead of with him. When I spoke with im it all went bad but i decided to let it play itself out. After he came and visited me, I realized that it was not going to work, so I drew myself away from him and even though I tried to reach out to him seeing that this is an adjustment for him, it faltered.

I have no regrets though. I am cool...better now than later after I have him all up in my space and stuff.

Hey everybody...just finished catching up and now I have to run and get myself ready for my flu clinic. We are expecting to vaccinate about 250 people this evening. It is fun though and we get to meet some very interesting people. I hope you all have a blessed and productive day.

GO GET YOUR FLU SHOTS!!!!! You don't want to get the flu, it is a killer.

Hey Island; I think that everyone should get the flu shot. We give it to everyone from 9 yo and up including pregnant women. Younger kids get the mist in their nostrils. There is no criteria for getting it like the pneumonia vaccine. The Flu vaccine is all inclusive. I gave it to my kids too, because the flu itslef can be a killer and even if you get a reaction the the shot, it is only mild in comparison to the flu itself. The vaccine is a dead virus and it technically cannot give you the flu, just prevent you from having a bad illness that can potentially kill you.
