I go on the US Embassy in Kingston website...and then I go to the NIV appointment schedule calendar...I click on shedule an appointment and then it will ask you for a barcode number...if you click on the Electronic Visa Application Form link and then click on the DS-156: Nonimmigrant Visa Application link it will take you to the application...on the bottom just click next and it will bring up a barcode number...i copy that barcode number and enter it and it will show you the calendar...if you see the dates shaded blue that means that the day is fully booked with appointments... Even though I am not actually going through the process, I feel the hurt, pain and disappointment you all must be feeling right now, especially those of you who have been waiting since case was completed in March. And to those of you who have been going through this process for four years, I must emphatize with you because I can't even begin to imagine what you must be feeling. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies with case complete	The "'7 years" they are talking about is for relatives other than spouse. We you guys are speaking to these baffoons, you have to talk slolwy so they can understand that yours is a spousal visa and you are now waiting for an interview date, not for your priority date to become current. We must all remember that these are government workers, they don't think or process thoughts. They are like robots that spit out info without any thought as to what it relates to. When they say that spousal visas have no waiting, they only mean that you don't have to wait for a priority date, the processing starts immediately. But the only problem is after all the processing is done, you still have to "wait" for an interview date. Hope I don't sound like I am rambling, but I am mad as heck about the misery these people are subjecting all you guys/gals to. I cannot imagine what you all are feeling right now. My heart goes out to you all and hope all this gets resolved soon so your lives can come out of limbo and you can start your true life journey with your loved ones. Phew.. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies with case complete	I think the embassy in Kingston should do what the Manila embassy does. The applicant pays for document verfication that has to be done before the interview date. Maybe that will ease the burden on them verifying documents the day of the interview. Manila is a high fraud post like Jamaica and that is what they do and it seems to free up the embassy staff to conduct interviews and do on with the processing of visas and other immigration stuff. I am sure we all would not mind paying that extra little fee to get the docs verified before the interview and that would cut down on the fraudulent documents that are being presented. I would make out a police report and have them advise. Harassment is harassment no matter how it comes to you. They have divisions for computer crimes. Keep all records. Yeah that is what she is doing...it is amazing how quickly your life can be turned upside down by someone from your past.....Its a good thing he moved to another state because I would be the one going to jail....I'd have to seriously hurt him (and thats being nice). Every profile that is fake, report it to the site (myspace, FB, etc...) - For emails - report them to their ISP provider as harassment - file a police report definitely - save the vm, play them for the police - the key is document, document, document - Totally agree, Know of someone who had problems at home but never documented anything.
