Mexico, Latin & South America	Jamaica and the NVC	Shrewdie; I think the first document that you process with the NVC is the DS-3032 (choice of agent form) and the AOS (affidavit of support) fee bill of $70. After these are completed you will get the visa fee bill ($400) and after those are processed it will generate the DS-230 and the AOS packet. Barring any RFE your case should be completed with them and then they will schedule your interview and forward your case to the embassy and send you, your hubby and agent the interview letter. Well he got a job as a Concierge for the Black Tie Events company. They basically work like corporate conventions at hotels and convention centers. So he starts next week I believe and its at the Hilton on the water so its close. Then he also starts his Graphic Design classes next week, which will be really good training for him. He got in thru the ROP program, so no residency requirements, or long wait, which means by 2 semesters, he'll have a portfolio and able to get an entry level graphic design job, and just work up from there. Marlita that is awesome news! a lady just stop by the office, she had her baby 2 weeks ago and she is returning to work on monday. she said that she can not afford to be off. damn oh how sad! For this to be the US, we SUCK at medical insurance and family sometimes. Don't talk too soon about the medical insurance. I have a friend who lives in England and he got sick while in church and was brought to the hospital and was diagnosed with a bundle branch block in hi heart. He was discharged the next day to followup with his general practitioner and he has to wait for an appointment to be mailed to him. Mind you this condition is very serious and he has been waiting since November for this appointment. This is the effect of "free" health care. Insurance in the states is not all we want it to be but there are worse out there. Thnx Rox, i knew this was coming..but i thought they 1st have to get to the B2B visa cap..so now what's gonna happen to the H2B visa when everyone is hired from within the US..with all this crackin down on illegal immigrants..they feel if they slow the H2B visas u can decrease the amount of illegals? hmmm i was just talking to my SO about this, he had signed-up for a work program last year and they called him about a job in Flordia or North Carolina. but they wanted him to pay $2000. i was like what What work program how do you find it and how do you sign up.... We will take anything to build up the mister resume and increase his reference list. Plus the extra money would be good, however, small it maybe.... I was here looking for volunteer events things that he can do to help build his network. PA, how did your interview go? Your hubby can volunteer at Rex. Well, today I decided not to stay home and look at the four walls around me. What a day to be out it was cold has heck. I went to a Pampered chef demo at my co-worker's house (bwoy they live in the boon docks). Another co-worker was going to a scrap-booking-party in Cary and I went along and let me tell you these people are obsessed.. You should see the projects that they complete. I am getting a little interested and I know it is gonna cost me a pretty penny. I just have to work an extra day to make some burn money because I need a hobby. I am tired of staying home every weekend looking at the four walls around me. I know JG does scrap booking and all. I am going to try it and see if I like it as much as how excited it made me feel tonight. It is a lot of work though but the end product is really rewarding. Well, that is how my day went. I heard the news a few days ago, just couldnt log in. As far as the travel by himself. My husband flew from Mobay to Fort Lauderdale, to Long Beach. He did just fine. He had a 3 hour layover and even had another hour or so to spare after all the immigration stuff and traveling from one terminal to another. Your husband should be fine. Just tell him to call you from a payphone or his cell if he has questions. After he clears immigration everything is just like for a US resident or citizen traveler. Very easy. Evan even got thru customs with all his food that he listed which were plants and everything. They didnt mind one bit what he had he said. He told me the Jamaica airport was worse than them all cause they made a big deal about him bringing on hot sauce and they took it from him... dem john crow batty!
