Well we are in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee. We are just about to go out and find something to eat.

Our car broke down today, overheating, on the highway. We think it is a hose, but of course hard to say. Anyway we sat on the side of the highway for about 2 hours waiting for the tow truck. It was about 80 degrees, but luckily my Husband was able to add enough water so that we could drive on the shoulder of the road up to some shade, then get out of the car and sit in the shade.

So this place is about 30 miles out of Chattanooga, nice little town, the Ford people gave us a shuttle service to the motel, there are like 3 here and this is the only one that will accept a cat (he even drove us to the other 2 to check - very nice man).

Anyway, off to find food!

Find some good BBQ!! smile.gif

BBQ and a big bottle of Tequila!!!

It was just funny that she went on and on that these meds were fake, she had been ripped off,and it was all based on that the units were metric!! I replied back correcting her, but for some strange reason, she never replied back, lol

Kind of funny!! I order my pets flea meds and heartworm pills form an Australia company (much cheaper) and guess what? Australia using the metric system as well. So on a pet forum i visit, this lady complains that she bought the same flea meds from the same company that i use and she states they are FAKE!!! Why? because the dosage units are metric units!! lol

Just a few minutes ago! Here it is, it looks o-soooo-small!! My Husband has just gone out to do some measuring to make sure our bed will fit in there. I don't know why there are 2 relocubes on the truck, only 1 of them is ours, I guess that's so when you see the actual size you call them and add the second one for another $ 1000 !

Whoa. That IS small. Good thing you gave away most of your stuff. tongue_ss.gif And just look at that snow! ohmy.gif Yes, take one more good look at it, Trailmix. That's the last you'll be seein' of that stuff once you move. tongue_ss.gif

flames...those are so funny! laughing.gif Very cute!

Here's morning coffee... have to run and do more training today. This is a little different in that one half day a week I'm going to be hearing and investigating elder abuse incidents. Either from family, or the nursing home. Have to interview the resident, and others and make recommendations to the coordinator to follow up with the State. Part of my training today will be going out with the supervisor to handle an actual incident. Will report on my experience tomorrow! Might be a vent though sad.gif

Enjoy your day!

Best of luck!! Dont go into too much info on here (names, institution, etc) otherwise ur committing a HIPAA Violation!

I saw a strange/ disturbing thing at the Social Security office yesterday:

So, the waiting room was full and I take a number and sit down. About ten minutes later, in walks a tiny little east asian girl wearing the following: hot pink micromini skirt, red knee-high stiletto boots, a lime green tube top and a silver and gold bomber jacket (it's cold here right now). She looks about 15 but I'm guessing she was probably closer to 19 or 20 because of what she's wearing and who she walks in holding hands with - a disheveled man about 45 years old.

The man tells the security guard he's there to get her SS card and is asked where his receipt is. The man immediately starts getting annoyed, "I don't have a receipt!" After being told he needed a receipt or would have to re-apply, he continues to get more upset and yell. By this point, everyone in the waiting room is staring at him and his scantily clad partner.

They take a number and take a seat. Over the next 15 minutes, the whole waiting room watches and listens as he coaches his wife (I'm assuming) in English - "SO-SHALL SE-CURE-ITEEEE" She looked frustrated and scared and he just looked mean.

I obviously started assuming a lot of things about this couple and this man...

I felt bad for the poor girl...
