If it is just the immediate family, good china would be used, but for larger gatherings, bring on the paper/plastic!! rather be spending time with friends/family, then doing dishes!!

For some family suppers, we just use disposables, makes clean up soo much easier. Plus were going to get hit by an asteroid in the next few years, so why worry about recycling!! I saw deforest it, burn it, pave it baby!! lol

Not saying this is the situation (moat likely not), but with most banks if your acct goes below the determined level, even by 1 cent, they will ding ya with the fees!! happened to me a few yrars back with CIBC, in my one account, I think I had to keep a min of $1000 to get the free banking benefits, well, the account went below by less than $1 and whammooo they hit me with fees galore!, ouch, lol

I grew up in North central Sask, so a lo tof natives there and had many good friends that are native. Alcohol runs rampant in the city and in the reserves, very sad. of course the govt solution is just to throw more $$ at it and not address the problem head on!! its such a terrible disease

I hope you both, Laura and Southern_Canadian, get your SSN soon.

Southern_Canadian: What's the page you printed? I will be moving soon and will ask for an SSN after two weeks have passed. I'd rather be prepared and have that page already with me instead of having to drive all the way back there.

Laura was the one who told me which pages to print off and highlight... I can't remember though. I'm sure someone will be able to tell you.. biggrin.gif

Dear Flames, please don't take this personally.
Well if you want to, I can't stop you. smile.gif

After "insulting" your choice of beer (all chemical and no taste) now I am going to comment on your coffee choices.
You and sweet Trailmix, although wonderful people, need to have your taste buds checked.
I mean really...

My sweetie used to drink XL Dunkin's coffee and then I introduced him to REAL COFFEE.
He can't go back now.
(I hope.)

Yes, I am a food #######...aka food snob.

Normally I make my own coffee. And the coffee I have on tap at home is straight from Columbia (not bought in stores) Soon to have some fresh Nicaragua on my coffee shelf!! I'm no coffee expert, I just drink whatever, even starbucks. caribou coffee is ok as well!

And Im no beer snob either, if its cold its drinkable!

In my many landings never had a problem!! But I guess if ya landed hard enough and u were siting at an awkard angle, u could get hurt.

As well, many that were their seatbelts, dont wear them that tight or even have them fully extended, which is pretty much useless! Your not just doing this for ur own safety, but for others around ya!! If it aint secured down securely, it (or u) can become a projectile!

probably idiots with their seatbelts off!! lol When u were flying back to DC from xmas holidays, the last portion from Toronto to DC was super rough! So rough the stewardess stated over the intercomm, that she would not be leaving her seat unless it was an emergency!! But a few people still figured it would be ok to get up!! I miss my Air force days on the CP 140 Aurora (P3C)! Nothing like being over the ocean at 100 ft

Love hardwood!! Last house in Vic was all hardwood and tile at entrance and in bathrooms! So easy to clean! have carpet in our condo! Would put in hardwood, but being on the second floor, dont think my neighbor below me would appreciate that!! Oh well, another 1.5 yrs will be selling anyways.

I bought mine at bed bath and beyond. they allowed me to use the 20% off coupon!!! We went with the Dyson 17 I believe, 2007 model!! Works great!! No major complaints, just that it does feel a bit "plasticy" We bought ours last feb and nothing has broke!!

When we moved into our condo, they charged me around $150 to do the carpets!! I believe my bissel ran me just under $300 and I have used it 3 times, did my brother in laws place, so it has more than paid for itself! plus have used it to clean both our vehicles carpets

I vacuum every 2nd day!! we have 2 Siberian and 1 dog!! Prior to my dyson, I had a upright kenmore, which I thought was good!! NOT!! I vacuumed the day before with it, prior to the Dyson Animal purchase!! USed the Dyson and WOW, it picked up sooooooo much animals hair and other debris!! I was totally shocked on how much stuff it picked up. i really wasnt expecting much, since I had just vacuumed!! I also own a Bissel carpet steamer that I love!! When we bought our condo, we should have got the carpets replaced, but we knew we would be having animals, thus no reaosn to splurge and get new carpets put in,especially since we knew we werent going to be here that long. Rather just keep them clean and put in new (carpet allowance) when we sell. But I highly recommend the Dyson. My mom has 1 has well and loves it. They have 3 cats and 2 dogs, lol
