no we werent married but he did acknowledge my daughter n she is using his last name...what kind of consent papers should i ask my ex?should it be notarized by a lawyer?
about the I-129f i dont know if he put in my baby's name.imma ask him n let you know. but in case he didnt (i hope not)will it be impossible for me to take her?

oh n whats cfo? where can i have that seminar?

You will have to get his consent then. A letter of consent. Notarized? Would be good, i would think, to make things official. As for the I-129F, her name should be included or she cannot get a K4 visa (deriviative child of the K3). He can file the I-129F after the I-130 is received by USCIS (the NOA1) and before the I-130 is approved.

CFO seminar is one given by PRISM to all fiances or spouses of foreign nationals. Is required before leaves. Immigration will not let you leave the country without it. Here in Manila, there are two places to have that seminar...at St. Mary's and at the PRISM office along Taft Ave in front of DLSU.

thanks for the answers i really appreciate it! acctually my hubby filed the paper works for my k3 visa a couple of months ago.i just want to have everything ready as early as now.
can i ask 1 more thing?well this might not be the last thou...lol! i have a kid from a previous relationship,is there anyway i can bring her with me in the states?she's 4 years old n as much as possible i would want to bring her with me.....what are the paperworks that i should have to make it possible?

First off....Is she using your name or her father's name? Did the father acknowlege paternity on her birth certificate? If so, you would be asked for a consent from him to let her go with you. Oh...and were the two of you married?

Now, if your case is like mine wherein the father's name does not appear on ANY of my daughter's documents, ther would not be a problem. I also executed an affidavit of illegitimacy and appended that to her visa application forms, just for more proof. Did not have any problem with that.

BTW, your daughter should be named on the I-129f that your hubby will file...or has he filed that already>?

thank you so much n 1 more thing,,,do i also have to change my passport from my maiden name to my hubby's name? or will it be fine for me to just use my passport now?

i think it would be a good idea to do that, for uniformity. You would have to undergo that CFO seminar first though before you can use your married name, which isn't bad too. With your mentioning that your husband has yet to do his I-134 which, by the way, has to be notarized (have him photocopy that and have that photocopy notarized, too, and send it to you) I am surmising that you are applying for K3? Post your timeline; that would help us help you smile.gif

Received our visas 2 days post-interview. No special annotations with mine, but my daughter's has an added annotation..."Class A or B (TB). Requires ATTN of USPHS at POE".

My question is, how long are her medical exam results valid? Does it still remain at 6 months? Or is it shortened? We had planned on an April 7th 2009 flight.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresIMMIGRANT VISA
My hubby says that I qualify for an ITIN that I can file with the IRS, and he can claim me as a dependent.

1. Am I qualified to file an ITIN? I am a CR1 visa holder, still here in the Philippines, and when I read the instructions on how to fill up the form , it says there to list only a non-imigrant US visa.

2. At this point in time, am I eligible for a SSN? ITINs are for those who are ineligible for a SSN, right?

3. Can my hubby file married/joint and claim me and my daughter as dependents?

AFter reading thru the W7 and the guide for aliens, we are even more confused now.

Thank you for your input guys. smile.gif

I have a question about the requirements for filing a W7 Individual Tax Identification Number. Says that photocopies need to be notarized by either A) A US notary public, and cool.gif a foreign notary public (with some conditions that need to be fulfilled).

According to the W7 instructions, there is a US notary public available in the embassies worldwide. I am looking to have photocopies of my passport photocopied. Can I do this at the US Embassy in Manila?

Hoping for any input on this. Hubby is looking to file his returns at the soonest possible time and it takes about 4-6 weeks to get the ITIN.

I think Faryan, the best part of this whole process is we can have an excuse to go back in time and be nostalgic...like look back on how you first met, your first kiss together, your first everything! It's kinda mushy but it just makes you smile and cry at the same time. Good luck on your interview as well.

My husband and I go back to our past often, from the time we met onwards...those little details that seem ordinary to other people but which we treasure so much....and the magic is always there, making us feel like teenagers and all giggly and such. When I think of it, it still seems like a dream that i never want to wake up from...and yet, it isn't a dream. My husband gave me his treasured Army days scrapbook and dogtags...heirlooms we would pass on later to our children...as well as pictures of himself from his infancy to adulthood. Whenever I go thru these, I feel awed that this little baby, or this highschool football wide receiver grew up to be my husband. And I start to cry out of sheer joy and love. We've been married for just over a year but it seems that we have been our whole lives. There is still something missing...at least for the next 82 days smile.gif. I am going home to my husband...I am going to finally and really be his wife in every sense of the word. star_smile.gif

Hello,

Here is my timeline thus far

I am a US Citizen.

12/28/2008 - USCIS received I-130 (Spouse)Package.
01/05/2009 - NOA1 received
01/31/2009 - Email alert from USCIS that my I-130 application is approved and the approval notice was mailed 1/30/2009

I should receive the NOA2 in mail during the first week February 2009.

How can I get my NOA2 within 1 month NOA1? I was expecting atleast 6 month wait for NOA2.

Has the process become faster? Do you know of anyone that has had a similar experience?

I don't know what to think since NOA2 notice was so unexpected.

hello grace i already have my ITIN and what i did was I apply from DFA manila my passport, marriage contract, birth cert., with red ribbon gold seal., bcoz thats the only kind of authentication IRS will accept and they required.

Hope it helps u grace

God Bless u

According to the IRS ITIN instructions, a certified passport photocopy is the only stand-alone document they will allow, meaning hat it is enough to have a photocopy of the passport, duly notarized certified by the DFA and authenticated by a US notary.

"If you submit an original valid passport (or a notarized or
certified copy of a valid passport), you do not need to submit
any other documents. Otherwise, you must submit at least two of
the documents listed below. The documents must be current, verify
your identity (that is, contain your name), and support your claim of
foreign status. At least one document must contain your photograph,
but a photograph is not required if documents are submitted for a
dependent under age 14 (under age 18 if a student)."

I am going to be off to DFA Wednesday and was told that it will take 4 working days to get the finished document.

We did a W-7 while my wife was still in the Philippines and didn't have anything notarized. She got her ITIN without any problems.
That was a couple years ago and maybe the requirements have changed.

This is what we are working at this time... i'm going to get a new updated passport and once i get my passport i will go to DFA (for red ribbon). This is what my friend told me...

The filing of tax is until april 15, is this true? By the way, you can notarize the passport to any notary public here in the Philippines. It's only P40 each.. i inquired it the other day near at my house..

Called the USEM and made an inquiry. Docs to be used in the US need to be authenticated by the US notary. Told me to get a certification from DFA so I called DFA. Told me to get the photocopy of the passport an affidavit attesting tthat the details of the photocopy are the same as the original and have it notarized. In addition to the notary, I must get a certification from the Regional Trial Court that the notary public is indeed a certificed notary (that he/she is listed among notaries authorized by the Court). After getting those, I can then bring that to DFA along with my passport for certification then off to USEM for authentication. Geeeez.... blink.gif

And DFA certification takes 4 working days, too! Much as I would like to use the notary next door, I can't. Better safe and not waste anymore time. It takes about 4-6 weeks to generate an ITIN. Oh...DFA only does certifications from 7am to 11am. USEM does notaries from 7:30am to 10:30am. Can't really do both in the same day.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresYeah! K-1 Approved, with child. Now I'm not so sure.
Just some thoughts...

You have known her for less than a year? Seen her once in less than a year? Yes, you may have spoken to her everyday but to actually be with her and experience Filipino culture with her everyday is different. You two have not been given the chance to really know one another and you are now jumping into this relationship because of an accident. Maybe you both need to re-evaluate your relationship? Pity though, because the visa is already there, but is would be even a greater pity if you both are entering into a lifetime relationship for the wrong reasons.

The Filipino family is a very close-knit group and occasions such as the holidays, birthdays, baptisms, weddings are very, very important to them. My husband understands this and respects..even tells me that if I want to spend this last Christmas with my family in the face of getting a visa pre-holidays, he is all for that. Understand her apprehension as well, as I am sure that is also an issue. You are a seasoned traveller who doesn't seem to have much qualms about being away from home for short periods of time; she is not and will now be leaving the only home she has ever known for good...save for the occasional visits back, I would think.

Good luck to you both.

He is telling me that his boy don't like fish too. I have a very easy pregnancy pero di rin natin alam kung anong pwedeng mangyari.

Evelyn

I just had a sumptuous lunch of fried tuna fish and rice. Ang saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarap!!

Siguro Gracey can explain the causes of preterm labor. As far as I can remember sinabihan ako ng OB ko na uminom ng maraming tubig (at least 1 gallon/day) specially summer dito at disyerto pa, dahil pag na-dehydrate daw, malaking posibilidad na I will have a preterm labor. But I am pretty sure, madami pa causes, di lang dehydration biggrin.gif

Well, thank you blush.gif Keep in mind though that I am not an OB; am just picking stuff from my brain that i can recall from medschool and internship. Pre-term labor...can be due to a lot of causes. One is stress. Another is sudden withdrawal of certain hormones that control the pregnant state. Which is why we pregnant ladies can't get tired or stressed out. Of course, there are times that it just happens and we can't do anything about it. While it is common or nomal to feel mild contractions from time to time, if it happens too often, one should just drop everything and lay back and rest. Or the OB may recommend observation at the hospital and have the contractions monitored as well as the fetal heartbeat. Some cases, it resolves by itself with or without medication. Other cases, it goes into active labor. Again, these are from my memory banks. You can discuss these with your OB for further info. star_smile.gif

Frosty...the feeling na parang malalaglag yung bata or some sharp pain may be round ligament pain. The round ligament is one of the things that supports the uterus. As your uterus stretches to accomodate the growing baby, this ligament may be pulled on, thus producing the pain. It's not pleasant, i know, but may be resolved with rest with or without pain relievers (i.e. acetaminophen like tylenol). Your swings in appetite is normal...ganyan din ako till now. That and your morning sickness si due to high level of hormones that the baby produces which will level out soon. The "sinisikmura" thingy...is it like reflux na mahapdi? That is normal, too. I think pink had that. Less acidic/spicy/fatty food including carbonated drinks and small frequent feeding and some Maalox or Tums can help.

Had an early dinner at golden corral.....(BURP!) smile.gif

Placentas usually start low but as the uterus enlarges, nahihila pataas. So, you may be placenta previa or partial placenta previa now but as your pregnancy progresses it won't be. Placenta previa means that the placenta is presenting at the opening of the uterus. It may be partial, meaning just a part of it is at the opening, or it may be total, meaning it completely covers the opening. If at the time of delivery the placenta remains covering the opening, a CS is preferable to prevent bleeding. the placenta is the baby's lifeline till born so that if the placenta is delivered first or bleeds, that would threaten the baby.

Now about that excessive internal air...yes that is normal, again (no) thanks to mixed up hormones. Can't really avoid it but can be lessened by not eating foods that can cause gassiness...including carbonated drinks (I don't care, really and continue to indulge at times in my favorite caffeine-free, low-calorie rootbeer/coke/grape soda).

marjo2008 - you need to take it easy...bawal magpagod, bawal magbuhat. And go for your prenatal already. hope this time around will be to term.

unique - my hubby's grandpa revealed to us a history of a lot of twins in his family. and the moment i got that first ultrasound, tinawagan ko kaagad and told him he can expect just one great-grandchild and not two. I think it lies more on the mother if she has a twin or has twin siblings.

God bless to all.

Well, if i remember right, if you are placenta previa late in your pregnancy, that is an absolute indication for CS. Some cases of multiple pregnancies, too. Otherwise, you won't really know till you get into labor and as the labor progresses. I underwent CS due to fetal distress...my daughter had 2 cord coils around her neck so that she could not go down the birth canal and her heartbeat was slowing down with each contraction. Also, my OB then said that my pelvic outlet was somewhat narrow so that mahirapan daw yung bata to be delivered normally. My daughter was 8 lbs 2 oz so i guess di talaga sya magkasya..."cephalo-pelvic disproportion" so to speak. My OB said that we could try for a normal delivery but with my age and not knowing how strong my uterine muscles are now, we have opted for a repeat CS. Oh..we would have a nice tax deduction for this year's taxes too! innocent.gif

Thanks ryandgracey smile.gif

Actually our birthing hospital has two separate rooms for labor/delivery and post-delivery. It's the newest hospital here in Mesa, so, super high tech at parang naka check-in ka sa hotel.

How old is your daughter na?

My daughter is 6 1/2 years old. Turns 7 on Dec 26th. Am scheduled for CS Dec 28th. Our anniversary is Dec 29th. Saya ano? December will be a month of feasts from here on end.

The hospital is about 5 mins from where we live so that I told my hubby that I can wait for him to come home from work the evening of Dec 27th para mag-check-in. My American aunt volunteered to come look after our daughter despite her difficulty moving around (she can still move around and cook for her 10 grandkids daily). I will be brought from the labor/delivery/post-delivery room to the surgical suite which would be yards away. My only request is that they do not sedate me so that I can see the baby soon as he/she is delivered, unlike when I had my daughter. Now, my husband has a new insurance coverage that would allow me to deliver at a hospital further away and be covered in full. But I told him that my OB can't do surgical procedures at that hospital and I don't want another OB to handle my case as she knows mine already. So we will stay with the current one and do a 20% co-pay of the total bill. Besides, we have paid her professional fees in full already for all prenatals, labor and delivery and post-partum check ups. And I trust her judgement. I also insisted on following up with her for each prenatal. At the clinic kasi, partnership sila and she has no fixed sched. So I schedule my appointments according to her schedule. Another differnce between healthcare here and back in the RP, where you can just do walk-in visits.

ryanriza- you'll know you're in labor when the cramping gets more intense and longer with each episode. Have you attended a birthing class? Once the contractions get like 20 mins apart...ospital na. Or you can check in the moment you start labor and walk around the corridors with hubby. how many weeks are you?

I'm 38+ weeks na blush.gif Yup, we attended a childbirth class the other week. Had been experiencing not-so-painful contractions last night, super malapit na talaga! smile.gif

We bought our changing table sa Craigslist din, $20 lang and it matches our crib perfectly na binigay ng parents ng hubby ko. smile.gif

Wow...that is near. Congrats to the both of you! When I had my daughter, around 37 weeks I was counting the mins between contractions to know if I was in labor or not. I went into labor Christmas morning and went through the day's festivities till late afternoon when I rang my OB and told her she could come to the hospital around midnight as I did not go to the hospital till about 6:30pm. My daughter was born about 6 hours later via CS.

Nice thing about the birthing rooms here is that it serves as the labor room and post-delivery room so that you get to have that privacy soon after childbirth. And if your hubby is a football fan, he gets to watch the games while you are delivering biggrin.gif The only hospital I know in the RP that offers this is Asian Medical Center...and of course...luxurious din ang presyo.

So...enjoy the rest of your waiting period. Get lots of rest..you'll need all the strength you can muster once labor begins.

kagabi lang i was baby talking to my baby sabi pa ng hubby ko "leave him alone...what do you mean by achuchuchu?" hehehhehe...ayaw nya kasi when i baby talk to our baby...

about sa clothes, namili kami kahapon ng hubby ko ng baby clothes, as usual, si hubby ko lahat namili...meron syang nakita ulit na " i love mommy onesies..sabi ko lets buy that...sabi nya "hell no"..then nakakita hubby ko ng spiderman tshirts saying "daddy's superhero" sabi pa ng hubby ko lets buy this...sabi ko naman "no way man" hehehhehe...kaya yun kunti lang nabili namin.

may tanong lang ako...kasi sa ngayon active pa rin kami ng hubby ko...and im 5 months preggy na...sabi naman ng ob ko its ok as long as di raw ako naga bleeding...but sometimes i get scared kasi baka matamaan si baby matuhog ng hubby ko...kayo ba when kayo nag stop doing it?

God bless to all.

Kami ni hubby active pa rin. Tama ka as long as no bleeding involve eh safe. Pero may nabasa ako na safe naman yun during pregnancy kasi ang layo naman ni baby and protected by placenta..hehehehehe. Hanapin ko yung magazine na ibinigay sa akin sa hospital tapos post ko dito yung info pero yung ibang mga mommies i know may insights din sila about this.

Hay naku..i am 19 weeks, nearly 5 months and we're still active. Don't worry...it's perfectly safe; baby is far from daddy's "reach" and is well protected. It is discouraged if there is bleeding and toward the end of pregnancy as it may trigger premature labor. Otherwise...go ahead and have some fun good.gif Pag andyan na si baby, baka mabawasan ang oras for "fun" kasi puyat lagi...

hi,

may tanong lang ako...do you experience leg cramps when you are sleeping? kasi ako napansin ko nagkakaroon na ako ng leg cramps halos gabi-gabi and just started recently...lalo na pag mag change position na ako sa pagtulog na papa aguruy talaga ako hehehhehe...and worse pa left and right talaga pero di sabay...then minsan pagising ko nafefeel ko yung sakit sa muscles ko sa legs...

pero typical naman sya na cramps di naman yung worse kaso napapadalas lang talaga i dont know ano dahilan nito...i know related sa pregnancy but i dont know talaga why...

God bless to all.

leg cramps...i get that sometimes lalo in the morning before i get up. you may want to try stretching your leg before bedtime or pulling a towel or blanket while pushing on it with your feet. some ate a banana before bedtime for the potassium in it and it relieved their cramps. I guess the cramps are due to an electrolyte thingy. Our hormones are quite "mixed up" during pregnancy and this can account for some electrolyte shift. Also, put your feet up if you are just sitting down...that should improve the circulation in your legs.

About the overall baby clothes na pinag-uusapan, they call it "onesies" here. Onesies are not really expensive. Isa pa, pag nag baby shower kayo, I'm sure meron magreregalo sa inyo nyan, specially if you included it in your baby registry. We registered at Babies R Us and Target. We got a lot of baby stuff during my baby shower, nakakatulong talaga sa budget biggrin.gif We've already setup our nursery room, although meron pa konting kelangan gawin, but 95% ready na.

Budget tips pala to get baby's basic stuff: Craigslist! After the baby shower, my husband and I checked what were the important things that the baby needs na di namin nakuha from the baby shower, then we searched it on Craigslist. We got our baby's changing table for only $20 that perfectly matches our crib. It is in a very good condition and very usable. The person who sold it only used the table for 3 months.

Lemme see what I got on craigslist...40 pcs of onesies (all white or neutral) for $10, a changing table/dresser for $25, some unopened Soothie bottles for $6, a diaper pail for $2, an evenflo Osh-Kosh stroller for $25 (only used at grandparents' home) and some others. I got a bassinet at Once Upon A Child for $25 and a head protector for hte car seat (car seat cost $10) for $1. Got my maternity pants too at Once Upon A Child. Oh...I recently got (again, all neutral) about 15-20 pcs of unopened crib sheets, blankets, mattress protectors for $30 on craigslist. There was a huge yard sale sponsored by the boy scouts near here and I found some nice terry-cloth sleepers (baby will arrive in the wintertime), and a steam bottle sterilizer for $5. Other stuff I got from my cousin in Chicago, including a Carter's pack-n-play that plays music and vibrates, an infant to toddler rocker, some crib bedding and baby clothes. Honestly, I don't know if anybody will give me a baby shower since most of my relatives here are out of state and my cousins 3 hours north of here are quite busy. I still made a registry at Target and will do so with Babies R Us...i-email ko nalang sa kanila para ipadeliver nalang nila dito kung di sila makapunta dito yung mga gifts nila biggrin.gif

As for the nursery, we have yet to fix it up. We are hoping to know the sex of our child during next week's ultrasound/pre-natal. Only then can I really hunt for gender-specific clothes/items. But most of the more needed items are just waiting to be put in place . We will look for a crib maybe when baby turns a couple months old.

Haay...i'm back. Feeling ko ang tagal ko nawala. Been visiting with my uncle and aunt up in Kent and keeping the house neat and clean for future prospective home-buyers. My americana aunt has been kind enough to stay with our li'l girl when I give birth in December. That's one worry down.

Nice to know everybody's okay.

unique - don't pressure yourself. ganyan din si evelyn nun but it finally happened. So will it be the same with you...it'll happen when God sees it's the right time to happen. parang kaming mag-asawa. I took fertility agents in preparation for his RP visits but walang nangyari. Then as soon as I stepped on US soil (and into his bed biggrin.gif)...ayun...buo kaagad. and timely, too kasi advanced maternal age na ako. So just hang in there and enjoy each other. Once you have a child...baka mabuang ka, lalo kung makulit and magaling mag-rason.

Frosty - i'm sorry you're still having morning sickness. eat small and frequently and stay away from those food that make you nauseous...nothng oily, deifnitely. fruits should help with that.

ryanriza- you'll know you're in labor when the cramping gets more intense and longer with each episode. Have you attended a birthing class? Once the contractions get like 20 mins apart...ospital na. Or you can check in the moment you start labor and walk around the corridors with hubby. how many weeks are you?

Pink - good to know your li'l one is making his presence felt. Mine has been kicking up a storm for the past few weeks na. I've had a baby already so that I've felt the baby's movements earlier than expected. Is a lot more active at nightime but can kick me awake in the morning, too. Seems we may be having a future soccer/football player. I can now pick up his/her heartbeat too with my cardio-stethoscope, much to my delight smile.gif , but pag nakapaharap, i can't hear a thing.

Am anxiously awaiting next weeks ultrasound. Hope baby cooperates. star_smile.gif

Well, the pain of contraction basically feels like an augmented form of your menstrual cramps or dysmenorrhea.....from my experience. Is regular in interval and, if you are in labor, the duration of each lessens with time. Cramping is like a tightening sensation...again from experience. Had cramping in the early weeks and still do on occasion. I just sit back and rest when these occur...gives me an excuse not to do chores biggrin.gif

So...tell me again...boy or girl?

You may want to start playing some music for the baby by now, as the bones in his ears are forming and his nerve cell connections become more established. star_smile.gif

No more fast food na rin ako...sad.gif for a month now..siguro till na manganak hayyyyy...

Evelyn

Nothing wrong with the occasional fast food burger and fries. I have only gained about 2 pounds since last month. Am supposed to gain at least 30-35 lbs throughout my entire pregnancy. So far, i am far from half of that. Certain fish like albacore tuna is high in mercury daw but it doesn't mean that I should refrain from fish...although I have not been fond of fish much since I found out I was pregnant. I do enjoy my sushi (just the salmon or the imitation crab ones) when I can get it.

Just finished a serving of cheesy tortellini....so yummy!!! good.gif

i had my glucose screening done yesterday sana pumusa ako, pina inom nila ako ng parang orange drink then after an hour kinunan ako ng dugo crying.gif

Congrats uli to the new mommies!

I will have mine on August 12...sana ok ang result. Hubby wants our baby to be circumcise maybe after 8 days para medyo hilom na yong pusod nya at para di sabay sabay yong pain.

well, the stump left from the cutting of the umbilical cord is virtually devoid of nerve endings and is therefore, painless. It'll fall off by itself after a few days. Just clean it with alcohol after every bath to facilitate drying.

I had an oral glucose tolerance test during my last pregnancy kasi medyo mataas yung blood sugar ko noon. My colleague took a blood sample before i took the orange drink then one and 2 hours after. NOrmal results, thankfully, but my daughter still came out big...well, normally big at 8 lbs 2 oz.

Bought a few maternity clothes over the past few days...rubber bands can only help so much, i guess. Am showing already at 4 months but i am not counting on getting really big...di kasi ako malaki magbuntis. My wt gain is all baby and added blood supply and expanding uterus.

Dang weather center forecasted rains the entire day...now how am I supposed to take my walk??? mad.gif

hello sa lahat ng preggy and moms dito! Im back now, i gave birth last July 13 @ 3:02 PM, bouncing baby boy! 3AM pa lang nag start na contraction ko, but i ignored kc yong interval hindi masyadong close, but starting 6 AM medyo tumindi na ang pain but still bearable pa at every 5 minutes yong interval ng pain so me and my hubby decided to go to the hospital. we arrived at 9 AM and 4cm dilated na ako, but still my doctor says i have to walk for an hour and will check back again.. So naglakad-lakad kami ng asawa ko for about 30 minutes and yong pain hindi ko na kaya, both of my thigh masakit at medyo nagna-numb at ang pressure super. so nurse/midwife check me again and i was 6cm na so they decided me to stay in the hospital, i was anticipating of having a natural labor since this is my second baby, pero di ko nakayanan so i asked for epidural and it helps a lot. I took a shower the day after same thing what i did when i had my first baby, so far so good everything is fine now wala akong ibang pain na nararamdaman aside from the episiotomy i had.

Congratulations to your new li'l family!!!! Inggit ako...I wish I were having our baby, too. But I guess having to wait till the Christmas season makes the season even more special.

Welcome to motherhood! Enjoy every second of it star_smile.gif

Lol...sorry...

About bathing after delivery...never really paid attention to the old wives' tales about not bathing simply because, 1) I came from the hospital and who knows what extra microbes came home with me, 2) I am not about to transfer those microbes to my newborn child, and 3) it feels just icky not bathing after 24 hours or so. no0pb.gif

Pink,

Take is easy for a couple of days. Glad you're both okay. I had that too and it was scary.

My hubby thinks we're having a boy. My cousins think we're having a boy. Baby seems to be a boy...gets excited with all the boy stuff. Sana nga.
But another li'l girl to dress up with a combination of ribbons and dresses and shoes and what-nots would be nice, too smile.gif As long as the baby is healthy, it does not matter.

Yes, there are quite a lot of Dec babies...ganun ba kalamig and early spring???? hehehe... biggrin.gif

Kelangan mo i relax sarili mo.

Salamat sis. Ganito nga talaga basta first time daming iniisip.

Hi, first welcome to the world of new mommies to be.

If you are craving for green mango..try mo yong green apple tapos sawsaw mo sa asin kasi maasim din yon. Yan din ang kinain ko before when I was craving for that green manggo.

Oo nga first time naming dalawa to pero naiintindihan niya yung dinadanas ko na madali. My husband is working offshore kasi kaya 28 days siya wala pero 14 days siyang off.

LOL...LOL...i like that..."plastic pa sa orocan" laughing.gif

Play some music...as in Ipod or mp3 para nakasaksak sa tenga mo at di mo marinig yung pagkatok ng MIL devil.gif That can help too if you can't fall asleep at night. Or read a book (with or without the music in your ear).

I guess your husband should talk to his mother about your concerns about her. Stress during pregnancy isn't good for you nor for the baby. no0pb.gif

BTW...anybody can tell me about that WIC thing? unsure.gif

Thanks sis..What information do you need for WIC?

What is it anyway? Are there any pre-requisites for it? How to apply?

Kelangan mo i relax sarili mo.
