I am actually the other way around..

My 2006 is $700 over P-Line and was approved by NVC..

But for my 2007 W2 I went below the P-Line.. I'm thinking of not even mentioning it, since alot of people are still waiting for their W2.. But the problem is I already filed it.. sad.gif

Now what I will do on the Interview day is.. Bring the 2007 W2/ITR with me but keep my mouth shut and not mention it. Also I will prepare a Joint Co-Sponsor in case they asked for my 07 ITR..

It is always good to be prepared.. I just hope they don't ask for it though.. Cause I have a feeling I would be put on AR if i submitted a Co-Sponsor..

Good Luck!!

Not to be disrespectul but having a child w/ a US citizen (however registered that child is) proves that the foreign spouse and the USC had sexual contact. It does not prove documentarily, the validity of the underlying relationship upon which you (the foreign spouse) are applying for immigration benefits. Your "evidence" should be geared towards proving that you have a valid (in your case) marriage w/ your USC spouse...i.e constant communication, seeing each other as much as possible, documents such as joint accounts, filing taxes together or any other documentary proof you can show that you and your spouse are in a viable marriage. Some consulates may or may not be such sticklers for documentary evidence...but the marriage is what is required for you to prove in order to be issued a visa.

Oh we completely understand that.. I am not trying to base our whole chance of approval on our daughter being a USC.. I am just saying that its a powerful proof with our other proofs like Marriage Cert, Joint Loans, Pictures, Love Letters, Long Distance calling logs, etc..

I am just saying its a big factor..

I take it from our application for I-130.. I didn't even send any pictures.. Just sent the necessary docs and my daughter's docs and we got approved in 19 days.. No RFE!

Call It a luck but it is what it is..

Depends on what you think is 'just enough'. wink.gif We took about 25 pictures and were given a 221g for among other things, "more pictures," because the CO thought we looked too posed in our pictures. blink.gif (As if posing is not what you do when someone snaps a picture of you.) So sometimes exaggeration is not out of order, nor can you count on TRUTH to come out in your half an hour interraction w/ someone who is on the other side of a bullet-proof plexiglass.

I say, bury them w/ evidence if you have it....take it all w/ you. If its asked for you have it w/ you, if not, well hey you carried a few extra documents w/ you that were not required. What's the harm? But at least you know for sure that you have all your evidence w/ you.

I will bring the strongest evidence I have..

There was some VJ reports that the Embassy has "misplaced" the documents.

So just to be safe than sorry, bring a copy of all the documents that you sent to the NVC along with additional documents that is not listed in the requirement. You just never know what they will ask for...

What is the Embassy going to say? "I am sorry to inform you, we lost your file.. You want a cookie?"

As far as I heard from the Philippine CR-IR Interviews..

Pre Screener and Consul never asked for Financial docs...

They just asked you for your Proof of Bonafide Marriage like Pictures, Joint Bills, Call Logs, Joint Loans, etc..

I fear for this too that they might ask for financial docs.. Cause my 07 W2 went below Poverty Line, and my fear is they might asked for it..

Hope not.. I don't want to risk any delay or AR if I present a Co-Sponsor..

Some people tells me not to worry cause the year just started and that makes my 06 still my latest ITR and it is what I submitted to NVC and it got approved because it was above the P-Line.

Good Luck!

21. Your Household Size - DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE

As thermophile mentioned my brother will have 5 on his Household size including my wife..

It will ask you to add them after you answer the questioned in the box..

Look at here.

A. Person you are sponsoring = 1
B. Yourself = 1
C. If you are currently married = 1 (was included on the petition 3yrs ago)
D. If you have dependents children = 2 (1 eldest that was petioned 3yrs ago and 1 was born here)
E. If you have any other dependents = 0
F. If you have sponsored any other person on an I864 who are now
lawfully permanent residents = 2 (his eldest daughter and wife 3yrs ago)
G. = 0

Total = 7

It can't be 7 its suppose to be 5... I repeated his daughter and wife on question F. But I have to answer it..

What should I do on this??

My brother petitioned his wife and daughter 3yrs ago.. And he used himself as their sponsor on the I-864 cause he's salary is above the P-Line..

CONCERN and QUESTION..

My wife's interview is next month... My 06 ITR was above the P-Line so I used myself to sponsor my wife on the I-864..

2007 came around and got my W2 and filed it.. Unfortunately I am below the P-Line this time..

What I am planning to do is bring my 07 ITR and a co-sponsor I864 in case they asked, so I will be prepared.

I am planning on using my older brother as my co-sponsor..

Can i use him as my co-sponsor? Even if he used himself 3yrs ago to sponsor his family?

Please advice...

She is now in the US. my questions is: How do we proceed to get her on the IR/1 visa that she should have been entitled to?

Any ideas would be great!

Ok this is my 2 cents..

I never knew what CR-1, IR-1 classification Visa until I found VJ.

When my case was approved by USCIS.. It was NVC who gave me the Visa Classification IR-1 since I had been married since 2005, and filed my I-130 last May 2007.

In my opinion I don't think they identify your Visa Classification @ POE.. Whatever NVC classifies you is what your Visa going to be.. Doesn't matter if your marriage become 2 or more yrs when you get to POE.

You just have to wait for the Removing of Condition Process to change it to IR-1.
