I hope these don't count as replacements, otherwise I am on card number 4 of the 10 per lifetime limit: 1. Name spelled wrong - changed immediately 2. Name correct, I was not a PR so it was stamped "Work only with DHS approval" 3. Became PR and had "DHS Approval" stamp removed. 4. Citizen Here is the reason for updating SSA from NewCitizen The social security database will be updated showing you as a US citizen. This database is shared with all federal agencies and many state agencies further validating your US citizenship status with the federal and state governments. With your social security records updated showing you as a US citizen, it will be much easier in the future to apply for and receive all social security benefits entitled to you. If you ever have to replace your social security card, obtaining a new card will be easier now that you are a US citizen. Lastly, in some states, certain disability benefits are only available to US citizens. By changing your citizenship status with the Social Security Administration, you will ensure you receive all disability, retirement, and social security benefits for which you qualify as a US citizen. The questions were super easy!.. went right to the point, didn't #### chat with me or anything. !. What does the president cabinet do? 2. for how many years do we elect senators? 3. How many justices are in the supreme court? 4. Branch of government? 5. what did the declaration of independence do? 6. cant remember... then read something about Abraham Lincoln and wrote thanksgiving is in November. she asked for some utility bills and banks accounts letters. I gave her Con Ed, the Car insurance and the bank accounts letters. that was all. She said: Im Approving you, you will receive the letter in the mail and gave me a letter that says Im Approve. US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2011 FILERS	Sorry, that looks about right - the last person scheduled for interview in NYC was in early November so it is possible you have another month to wait. Then again, all cases are different so you could be earlier. Unfortunately lots of people don't fill in and update their timeline which limits the available data. Good Luck! This month is almost over if I get anything it would be for May the interview I'm thinking. I have not seen many updates from NYC filers in other months most are still waiting. US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2011 FILERS	Wow! This waiting game is now getting to me!! We are Dec. filers as well and it seemed like the past 2 months just flew by. I thought we made good time with the biometrics and interview, after that it felt like time is just crawling by. The hard part is, there is no one in our area who is in any of the immigration forums so not much to compare time-wise. We only have to rely on previous applicants we know of, about one per year and the timeline is about the same. I also found out that our district court holds oath ceremonies once a month. Only one came out in the news by far, the one in Feb. and none for the one in March. There is one in April and we are hoping we will have our oath-taking then, which is 2 months after the interview, pretty much the timeline everyone had previously. If not, we wait for May.... we have this big trip planned in June and we sure hope we'll have the blue passport then since it's such a hassle getting a visa... sorry, just venting. Hopefully, I'll get positive vibes from the good people here... I'm still waiting for my interview letter.. I start to believe I have been on a waitlist all along, I just received another email and text message, stating the following: w00t.. I know the date within 14 days now Now, I do have my mom visiting me here in April, it would be cool if she could actually be present during the oath (if I pass the interview AND if everything goes as smooth as it is doing right now and I don't have to wait until May or later lol). Wow that was fast! I'm still waiting! Dam USCIS in NY has to be so slow! Ppl in January filers already have their interview schedule for this month! I can't believe it..
