In Dubai it is really difficult to get marriage.

I am an US citizen and living in Duabi (United Arab Emirates)with my husband for last 2 months. I am planning to file I-130 for my husband.
Because of short stay in Dubai I cannot go for DCF (Direct consulate File). As minimum of 06 months stay is required to file DCF.

Can anyone tell me

and then start your story how you guyd meet and decided for marriage attaching some chat/phone recorcd air tickets hotel booking is a good idea
write in your own words only one is enough from you or your wife.

ask your friends or family member to write a letter stating that they are witness of your relationship and marriage if you are living togather ask your neighbors too it will weight.

Hi Guys,
I am living with my husband since last one year in Dubai, we have just (few days back )moved to another apartment.
I am confuse in the following question of I 130 form

21. If filing for your husband/wife, give last address at which you lived together. (Include street, city, province, if any, and country)

Do I need to mention current address where we have recently moved (few days back) OR I can mention previous address where we had one year together.

Question for I-864, Affidavit of Support

My question is related to I – 864.
Since last one year I am not doing any job because I am living with my husband in Dubai. When I was in USA I had a job and my income was enough to support my spouse.
I – 864 require to submit last 3 years income tax return papers. Can any once advise me what should I do as since last one year I am not working and out of USA so i don't have papers for last one year but rest of the years i do have.
do i need to find a co sponsor or i can sponsor him.

Congrats!!!!! My I-130 and I-129(no longer necessary) was also just approved 04/01/2010 as well. I was praying that this went through quickly! I applied in March '09 and in Sept. '09 received an RFE in which I could not produce what they wanted in the time I had available for was in Uganda visiting wife when it arrived. It set me back and I restarted process from the beginning in January.

Thank you to all the pro's on here that have provided me food for thought and preparation knowledge to make it through this without loosing my sanity!

PCC Expired During USCIS Process

Correct. Consulate's don't care about expiration dates on police reports, only the issue date. As the OP probably knows by now, this report was not needed for the petition stage.

our embassy is Abu Dhabi united arab emirates and benifissery country in Pakistan
UAE PCC has expired on jan 2010 and pakistani expired on feb 2010.

It's a case of the left hand of the government not knowing what the right hand is doing. It happens a lot!

Either that, or they played an April Fool's joke on you about the I-130! Nah... just kidding.

In any case, do call them up and ask them. They will likely tell you to ignore the RFE for I-129F.

Since 12/2008 I am living out of USA with my husband as a house wife, due to I stay home and didn’t work at all I am not able to provide financial support papers for 2009.

Since I don’t have co sponsor, I believe in this situation my only other option is to go back to USA and start working.

Please advise me if I can sponsor my husband base upon my two prior years 2007 and 2008 tax papers and current employment latter / pay stubs?

And if your answer is yes please advise me kindly how many paystubs or what proper paper work required to meeting NVC requirement.

I 864 Affidavit of Financial support.

They are mostly interested in current income; while the NVC will look at it, it is the CO at interview that will make the final determination whether your financial ability is sufficient. So, ow many paystubs you need will depend on the consulate. Some easy consulates will even accept a firm job offer without any paystubs but if you want to err on the side of caution, I would say three months worth of paystubs and a letter from the employer saying it is a permanent job.

It should not take more than a week. In case it takes more than 15 business days, send an e-mail to nvcresearch@state.gov. Also, don't forget to scan the NOA-2 and attach it to the e-mail.

Case pending with NVC

Hi VJ's....Our case is pending with NVC because I was unable to submit AOS form, I was living with my husband out of USA now came back to USA and searching for job I don’t know how long it will take.
