Finally !
Today we had our interview at the managua, nicaragua embassy.
Visa approved and will be ready to pick up on 30 of May after 3PM.
We will be arriving at POE on 5/6/08 @ Ft Lauderdale Florida, then we will go to our home
on Puerto Rico.

Yes the status changed to Aproval Notice Sent
and i received the Email of the notice.
I expect the NOA2 to be arriving today!

How about making a letter to Dr. Emilio T. Gonzalez, Director, USCIS and copying it to President Bush
With our signatures on it, and stating that we need our relatives with us ASAP!!!!
They need to change how there game is played!
And we can make the change!!!

Also other detail, they are prioritizing cases for residents that filed to become US Citizens , since we are in election year
they want them to be US Citizens to have their votes, but honestly they should be aware also that the majority of people like us who are US Citizens
that want to be with our loved ones, appears that they are not counting with our Votes!

We havent seen results, and we need results NOW.

For example:Open Tourist Visa for all of US who have waited all this months. Until case is approved.

Or Direct Consular Filing for all of US who have waited, they will have minus worked done
since embassy can do most of the job.

They have tons of options for us!!!

Thanks hun, again whatever fits our nature (some are good to be quiet and listen, others are vocal and this makes us so special the two different personalities ) but things are somewhat out of hand with USCIS as we all know, and with VALENTINES DAY COMING - hence the reason for the broadcast, it only seems to be appropriate to make a stand.

God bless ya mate on your journey....... will update all to exact time hopefully later today and I have tons of stories and pms - also a few people are trying to make the broadcast with me...... just thanks to everyone that is sharing their experiences and again, I will never mention names. If you do not have an NVC Number which first three digits are letter followed by other ten numbers, you can also use your USCIS number case.

WE GOT OUT INTERVIEW DATE....SEPTEMBER 08!!!! WE ARE VERY HAPPY. WE ARE ALSO HOPING THEY WON'T TAKE TOO LONG TO GIVE US THE VISA, WE HAVE BEEN READING THE TIMELINE BETWEEN THE INTERVIEW AND WHEN YOU ACTUALLY GET YOUR VISA AND IT VARIES A LOT FROM CASE TO CASE AND COUNTRY TO COUNTRY....6 WEEKS!!!!

Yes, this process can be long and depressing sometimes, but it's worth it at the end. Believe it or not, I think they do us a favor with the evidence they ask for, specially when I have seen situations here @ VJ where it was found that the beneficiary was either still married or had not passed the background check and had some past baggage. Long distance relationships are hard because we miss our sweet other, but also because sometimes we are not aware of the whole picture.

I just got used to the waiting on this process knowing that there's going to be better soon and we did the right thing. Hang in there, once you are with your SO, it will be worth the wait.
