My fiancee and I will soon begin the long process and we don't need this kind of jokers making it any more difficult than already is. I will visit her next month and we know, even though we don't want to think on this, that the day I have to come back will be very hard on us. The distance between us will be unbearable then. My friend.....nobody likes to be apart from the loved one for that long. But the process, apart from a few variations from country to country, is pretty much the same for everyone. There is nothing you can do to speed up the process but there's much you can do to prevent it from going slower. For example, try to avoid RFE's as much as possible. There is a thread on this very same section dedicated completely to list all possible RFE's. Again....follow the guides....check the example forms....check the respective embassy reviews, you'll be able to read experiences from many others that have walked this road before you. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Expedite for USC serious Medical condition	You need to call USCIS to their number talk with the customer service representative, then you ask for expedite they will tell you that only a matter is medical or National Security matter! Other reason wont be accepted! They will ask you what is the problem and you have to explain. If they see its a valid reason then they will create a service request be ready with a pencil to write down the number, and wait for 2 to 3 days to receive an email confiming that they received the request, and they will ask you for a letter from you detailing your situation and any other documentation. They will give you other details to where submit those documents. If they approve the Expedite then you have a 99% chance to get approved in a couple of days. That all depends on your situation. From the start we have been checking with this forums to see how things flow and it has been great, later I'll more on the whole ordeal. We have obtained our NOA2 Approved around January 29th, 2009 and around February 3rd, 2009 we received the NVC notice that the case has been sent to the embassy. My fiancee sent an email two weeks after the NVC letter to the embassy to check up on the information needed for the interview and when would the interview scheduled. The embassy has replied with a December 2009 date and that is way beyond our time frame for the I-129f notice approval of May 2009. What should/could we do? Send another email back to confirm this date? I called the embassy and was told that I have to do things over email. Any one else encountered this before, any words of wisdom are greatly appreciated. Hello miminme, as I understand, the address for the I-129f form you probably need or should use the address you will live in once married and in the US. They will also use this address to communicate with you, so have your parents be read when such letters arrive. On the G-325 form you will be adding you addresses for the last five years, so it makes sense to use the address where you will live in on the I-129f and your current on the G-325. Maybe someone went through your same process that can back this up. As for the having met within the last two, I would say provide all the information from the beginning even if its older than two years. I used Pictures, purchase receipts while traveling together (this one could be tough), flight itineraries and boarding passes. Letters are also good for this, I think the more the better. (I need to start getting these letters actually, ) This is more or less what we provided for our case, but ours is different from yours. Hope this helps some and that someone! Today I received the letter from NVC with my new case # and could not believe it, it was pretty fast taking in consideration that I am from CSC. It says that my stuff will be sent in a week to Amsterdam Embassy. Let's hope it gets there soon! Now the interview waiting comes... I hope that CSC keeps on doing a good job and all of us waiting to have our second half to be here with us sooner than we think! I am sooo happy to see some progress! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Need Help on problem	I think that if you want to have your peace of mind, it's better if you do it yourself and don't rely on a lawyer. (Look what the first lawyer you hired did!) Unless you have some kind of problems you may need one. But if your case if pretty much straight forward, you can do it yourself (with the help of this site, which helps A LOT). If you have all your evidence documents, you can download the current forms in here. Please read the guides, I submitted my packet reading from here and asking the other VJers and didn't get a RFE, and my case it's already @ the Embassy in just a few months. Angilla, I have not seen my fiancé since June that I visited him on NL and won't see him until he gets his visa approved and comes to the US. We thought that the best was to save that $ for the upcoming expenses (as this process can drain your pockets + the plane ticket)... Our initial plan was for him to visit on Christmas, as every year, but we will pass this time. So for his interview, since we have not seen each other after the petition was submitted, he'll bring the phonebills and some snail mail letters and emails to his interview as evidence in case they ask.
