K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	withdrawn of tourist visa	and with POE officers, they have whats known as "expedited removal powers" which they are given to turn away/deny someone and send them on their way at the port-of-entry where you enter. Because ultimately, they are the ones who decide to let you in or not, and remember, especially with a visa, and even worse off, a B1/B2 tourist visa, AND being from a third world country such as Indonesia A visa basically gives you permission to approach the POE and "ask for permission" to enter the U.S. a visa doesn't mean that you've been granted the right to enter, only to ask, which in turn the POE officer then decides. I think they said that copies were fine and to send originals if asked. I'm about to begin the loooooong journey to finally be with my loved one. I'm from Puerto Rico and she is from Romania. My question is simple. Is about the forms shown in VJ. Can they be filled on the pc and then printed? Or do I have to print them and then fill them by hand? Are both ways correct and accepted? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Possible minimum time?	Hello again. This question came to my mind yesterday. Is there something like "applying too soon" for a K-1 visa. I met my fiancee last summer. Then we spoke hours and hours either on chat, video chat, cell phone, normal phone, whatever we could use to communicate. And when I say "hours" I mean "HOURS". Last November we decided we were made to each other and kept in touch even more. Now I'm going to meet her in Romania and I plan on staying 3 weeks in which we plan to also meet her parents and officially engage. I already have about 6 phone bills showing my calls to her and received from her, a small mountain of chat logs, date, time and duration of Skype calls, mail that we've actually exchange like gifts and the likes, receipt for the ring I will buy for her. And not counting the dozens and dozens of photos I plan on taking along with anything I can put my hands on to show that I really met her. And of course her evidence. Now comes my question. Is there a chance that we could be denied for not having enough time of relationship even by having tons of proof? After I meet her it will be hell for us to wait some months to just begin the long K-1 process. And I plan.....if we are lucky enough and we try to eliminate any delay caused by us.....to have her here by next xmas and close to that marry her. Any help or tips will be really appreciated. Though I'm also new in this journey I think I can help you with at least one question. 2) Is the visa valid for 90 days or 6 months from date of issue in London? The 6 months and 90 days times are separate. Once the visa is issued you or your fiance(e) have up to 6 months to use it (enter USA). She's 25 year old now so she started working almost after finishing school. She had to quit because her parents moved to another house and it was too far from her job. My fiancee asked me if the fact that she's unemployed since November 2006 can affect somehow her interview, whenever it happens, because while reading the embassy reviews, specifically the one in Romania, she read some of the questions that were asked and found that 2 people were asked about why they were unemployed. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Sending I-129F	Well my friends. This is it. The beginning of this long journey. I'm about to start what others did and others are still doing. So this is my final check before sending the package. It includes the following: 1. Cover letter indicating the contents of the package (following the example in the guides here) 2. I-129F form, signed and dated, 3 pages 3. G-325A, 4 pages signed and dated, for me with passport style photo attached (according to the guides here) 4. G-325A, 4 pages signed and dated, for my fiancee with passport style photo attached (according to the guides here) 5. Letters of intent from me and fiancee, 1 page, signed 6. Photocopy of my birth certificate, front and back 7. Photocopies of all pages of my passport 8. Photocopies of boarding passes to the plane 9. Photocopy of engaging ring receipt 10. 6 color photos of me and my fiancee together with names, date and place written in the back according to the guides. Did I miss anything? All have been checked several times. Also I have 2 exact copies of the package. If anything is missing or have some pointers please let me know. I'm sending the package tomorrow God willing. In my case, with a Western Union money order and as the guy at the post office told me, I call the number shown in the receipt and then follow the instructions to input the control number. We promised to be strong to each other. We will do what Leo said. Speak as much as we can. It is not the same as being together. We just ended a 3 week vacation together. But it is much better than nothing. If I have to put the best moments in my life in a list, those 3 weeks would be in the #1 spot. But if I have to put the worst ones in a list, the separation at the airport last Monday takes the #1 spot also. Be there to each other. Support each other. We are already talking about plans for our future. One thing is sure....we are not giving up on each other. Remember......love can win over everything. This process is not easy. The road to happiness is never easy. But you are not alone. You have friends here who are doing exactly the same. If you want, feel free to pm me and we'll help each other also. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Really worried now	I sent the I-129F last Thursday by FedEx. According to their site and using the tracking number it was delivered next day at 10:30 AM. Today I wanted to print the receipt where it shows the signature of the one who got my package, somebody called A.Stanley. All ok until that part. By checking the printout I notice that the package was delivered to a place called St. Jebans instead of St. Albans. I wrote the delivery address correctly so I don't know how this happened. And after a search I didn't find a place called St. Jebans in Vermont. Probably I'm being mighty ignorant here but I sure am worried. Did Fedex probably sent the package to the wrong address or is it maybe a typo on their website? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks PEACE..... My SO decided early in January this year to visit me first but had her B2 denied. So instead I went there to visit her and now I filled the I-129F the past week. Don't worry.
