USCIS states that they received our RFE on 3/8, but we have not heard anything about the NOA2. Has anyone else gotten a RFE and is still waiting for NOA2?? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	calling nvc	I just spoke with a representative from Nvc and he had me read a paragrapgh from my letter which states that the petiton has been approved and has been fowarded to the listed consulate. The representative told me they sent it directly to the consulate . I asked him if this is normal he put me on hold and then asked what kind of visa and then he told me to call back in 10 business days. This was my first experience calling USCIS, I'm October 24th NOA1 at VSC so my 5 months have past now. She asked me how long has it been, I said more then 5mo now, more then the time line on your website, so she said "ok I will file a service request for you", then she asked what is the date on the NOA1, I said 10/24, and she goes "oh well its within our processing time, we are currently processing 10/1, wait about 23 day." There is nothing worst then waiting for something and not knowing, I can't even begin to describe it. At this point I don't know if I'm just venting or what. I KNOW IT'S A LONG WAIT AND ALOT OF PATIENCE . WE ARE JULY 2012 FILERS AND WE WERE APPROVED APRIL 4 AFTER 1 RFE ... IT WILL GO BY FAST JUST HANG IN THERE	habibi11	Female	Tunisia	2013-04-10 12:55:00

We are now waiting for the hard copy to turn up to see what we need.....but today I got another email stating: "On April 19, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)." Does anyone have a list or know where I can get one as to what they need so I can get approved? Do I need a lawyer?   I did not include any passports, birth certificates, etc. I have all that suff ready to go. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I believe I have the worst luck than anybody	I hired a lawyer back in October 2012 to file my paperwork for k1 visa just to make sure everything was done correctly and minimze any chances of getting an RFE,I recieved my NOA1 on October 2012, but guess what??? After nearly 8 months if waiting I checked the uscis website and I had an RFE!!!(6/18/13), Up until today I have yet to see the letter!! I called the people at uscis but they are never of any help, they said if I havent received the letter after 14 days to call back!! Has anybody experienced such delay??? And to make matters worse my lawyer wont return my calls! The Rfe will be sent to the lawyer not you.... mine only took 1 week to get to my lawyer . K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	200+ days and counting, NOA2 please?	My I-129F for fiance visa was filed 02/05/13. We passed the 5-month mark on July 5th. I submitted an e-request for Outside Normal Processing Time on July 29th. A couple weeks afterwards, I received an email reply from USCIS. The email contained nothing that we didn't already know, receipt number, filing date, approximate processing times. A completely useless email, except for mentioning to wait another 45 days before calling customer service. I called the phone number for more information today, but again, received no information except confirmation of e-request, and to wait 45 days for further assistance. It has been 204 days since the first NOA approval. My fiance lives in Tunisia. Is there any advice anyone has to offer? Is this normal waiting time? How much longer should this process take? Does anyone have any other contact information they would be willing to share?   Also, we were in the batch that was transferred to Texas Service Center in June. Orignally our case was in Vermont Service Center.   Thanks for any advice. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	The first Gay K-1 Fiance Visa Progress with DOMA repeal on the Horizon (Tim & Keno)	Keno and I are starting to slowly prepare all the documentation we are going to need to submit our I-129F. We want to take our time with the whole process to make sure every 'i' is dotted and every 't' is crossed. Being one of the first same-sex bi-national couples to immigrate to the US on a K-1 visa on the heels of a potential victory in the Supreme Court on June 27th means we don't want anything to go wrong on our end. While we cannot file our I-129F until DOMA is repealed, we want to be ready the instant it is to submit our paperwork because it is such a time-consuming process. Keno is currently securing his passport quality photos which he will include in his packet of info (G-325a, statement of intent to marry) that he will send to me in late January. He should have them within the week. To everyone who supports us, thank you very much - you have no idea how much kind words and support means to us.
