No touches about us too. I am constantly checking the USCIS web site. I tried to forget and not to open it but I can't. It become such a nightmare for me.

guys...has anyone heard anything from Kalina? she was few days ahead of me... i seriously hope that she got her approval too.

I think Kalina got her I130 approved yesterday, don't know about her I129.

Hi friends, unfortunately our petitions /my and for our baby/ are not approved yet. Not even touched. Congrats to Neel, Jenna and Kss. Hope that mine and other March filers will be approved soon.

Kalina i will pray that your petitions get an approval soon(like today). We had 3 approvals come in yesterday...so CSC is gearing up.

thank you so much friends. Neel I hope your words will become reality. If not today at least by the end of this week

If you notice their processing time on USCIS for CSC is Dec 31 2006, add that to 6 months + the 30 days they were telling us to wait and the will be July 31, 2007. So if they follow the same pattern either way after 180 days and the 30 days they asked us to wait, we will be outside the processing time posted on their website too.

Wish 1510, when we call to USCIS they said that they process cases received in December. So I think that we have to wait till they put on their cite that in process are cases received after February 15.

neel
"this is sad that we are even talking about this."

I am sorry, and do not get me wrong but I am scared as hell and I cannot stop thinkin about that maybe we must wait through the whole 180 days or so.I was so naive I thought that we all will be approved for now,

Sorry for my negative thoughts I am just wondering how much longer and if I reach the 180 mark what can I do.
Z

Zolanden, I was so naive too. I thought that withing 180 days are processed cases which are not very clear or cases with missing documents or proofs of relationship. I thought that our cases will be approved maximum for 90-100 days. It is funny but I was hoping to be in USA in June or July. Now I stop making plans. Everything is depending on USCIS.

Zolanden, Wish 1510, thanks for the words. Yes, we must do something in the beginning of August. I 130 will turn six months soon. Unfortunately CSC processing times didn't progress. In their website they state that now are current petitions received at the end of December, not in January 2007. So this process is such a nightmare for us. Let's hope that we all will receive approvals soon. By the end of this month. Why not

Call USCIS number again and press 4 for RFE line. After that you have to enter your case number and you will be directed automatically to speak with officer from CSC.

I wish you success.

We are still waiting too. :crying: And our I 130 was filed in February. By now nothing. I am so desperate. Yesterday my husband called CSC and they said that now are in process cases filed in December. In addition they are overloaded with I 129 F/K3 and K4 petition. The man from the line said that they have received unpredictable large number of applications from MSC. According to him they put the cases into letters. For example our cases were under letter Q and when they turn to Q they will approve at one time all the cases under this letter.
Let's hope that they will review Q soon.

Just curious, does your lat name start with the letter Q?

No, my last name begins with letter A.

Yes, we were calling CSC every week. There is nothing about our cases. They said they are reviewing petitions sent in December. The officer said to my husband not to call so frequently and they register every inquire with them. So now we decide not to call them for three or four weeks.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion about K3 I-130
QUOTE (Reba @ Sep 23 2007, 07:11 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
If she is biologically Your daughter, then she is a US citizen, and you do not need to petition for her to immigrate. You will however need to register her birth abroad with the US Embassy in your wife's country. The link to the consulate is likely posted here at VJ in the Embassy Info page, but you didn't mention what country she is from so I don't know for sure. You could also Google or Ask.

My husband is US citizen too but we sent I 130 for our daughter because when she was born he wasn't citizen but green card holder.
kalinaFemaleBulgaria2007-09-23 11:17:00
K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion about K3 I-130
Yes, you have to file separate I 130 for your daughter.
If you decide to use K 3 route you will file I 129 F for your wife and your child will received K 4 visa automatically but approved I 130 will be needed for AOS in the USA.
So shortly - two I 130 petitions - one for the wife and one for the child and one I 129 F.

Hello, Dani&chris, BulgarianBride. I am Bulgarian woman too. As you can see from my timeline I came here with K 3 visa in November 2007 and my green card was approved recently.
BulgarianBride, congratulations about your CR-1 visa approval.
Dani&chris, I know how difficult is this waiting with USCIS. I hope that your papers will be approved soon. As far as I remember K 1 petitions are approved faster than the others.

Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)Balkans United - Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovinia, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia
Samantha, I read your post and being Bulgarian I can say that this picture of my country and society is very unrealistic. My husband is Bulgarian too, and I can't share all of your views.
Moreover, you wrote that all Bulgarian consider Americans to be fat, stupid and rich and this of course is not true. The same is with the generalization which you made about my country. Of course it is not true.
First, I can't say that Bulgaria is male dominated society. Yes, it was but maybe 50 years ago. Indeed, there is women discrimination, but it is not only in Bulgaria but also all over the world. Even in the USA which is considered to be the "cradle of the democracy" there is such kind of discrimination.
It is strange to me that in Bulgaria there are only 5-10 ingredients for cooking. Actually, you can find hundreds of ingredients for cooking in the market.

Talking about cultural norms:

Yes this is true that many of the Bulgarians are reluctant to waste the food. We were taught always that there are many children and adults in the world which are starving. I can remember from my early years at school a pictures with starving children and pregnant women from the third world countries. So we were educated that the food and all other resources from the nature are limited and we must try to keep and not to waste them. I think that it is a good point.

It is not true that women are divided from the men at family gathering. No, I am 30 years old and this has never happened in my country. When there are gatherings women and men are always together. They are talking, singing dancing together.
Women pouring drinks to men constantly makes me laugh. If I do this to my husband he will be offended.
It is true that in most cases women do the household work but it is in the older families. It is not true for the younger people in the country. In the big cities in most cases both - woman and the husband work and they share the household work.
Women in Bulgaria have the same rights as the men have. They are very well educated and you can see many women working at the top position of the big international companies.
As a whole people there (both women and men) are very open minded, intelligent and know many things about the world. I can't say that they are very patriotic, but they are very tolerant with the foreigners. Being an immigrant in the USA and meeting many other cultures here, I can say that Bulgarians are one of the most tolerant nations. The history of the country prove this fact.

You are right about the bread, but it is not typical for all people. In fact, many of the women in Bulgaria stay away from the bread because they want to keep their bodies slim.
I agree about the yogurt. Bulgarian yogurt is famous all over the world because of the Lactobacillus bulgaricus bacteria which it contains. It is very healthy food.

I completely agree about the littering.

Maybe you know, but Bulgaria is very ancient country. It was founded 13 centuries ago. In fact it is one of the oldest countries in Europe because the first inhabitants of these lands were the Thracians. There are plenty of archaeological monuments there, which you can visit. The history and culture of this part of the world is remarkable and you have the opportunity to get to know them.

Wish you and your family all the best.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresK-4 Beneficiary I-130 Package

Hi friends,

We are about send the I-130 of my son. Please help me on what document to send. By the way, we already sent my(spouse) I-130 about a month ago. That time, we did not know that I and my son will need TWO SEPARATE I-130.

Please help.

Hi,

as far as I know, if you pursue I 129 F route and choose to go in USA with K 3 visa, your son will receive automatically K 4 visa, nevertheless the I 130 petition is sent for him.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresFebruary Filers
Hello everybody!
My husband has sent our I-130 petitions /for me an for our child/ at 15/02/07. He has sent as an evidence of ongoing marriage only the birth certificate of our child.
I think this is sufficient. What do you think. Is it necessary to send other proofs /photos, tickets and etc./ when we file for I-129F.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresMy Wife is Pregnant, should I wait for filing I-130
My foreign wife and I married 10 months ago in her home country. I am a
US Citizen. I am about to file the I-130 petition. Here are my questions:

1. She is currently pregnant carrying our baby and will probably give birth before the
visa is approved. Do we need to do anything to make sure our newborn
baby will also receive a visa, and not be left behind?

Don't worry about the child. It will receive US citizenship.

3. Also, my understanding is that when the K-3 petition is approved,
the
US Embassy/Consulate will notify my wife about the next step (DS-156,
medical, etc.). Is this correct?

I 129 F will be direct to the embassy, but as far as I know it is not valid for I 130. If you want to pursue I 130 route you must send and receive additional documents to/by NVC.

In other words, there's nothing else
we
need to do/submit until we are notified, right?

It is not sure because sometimes after the applicant has sent the documents, USCIS require additional evidences or so called RFE. They will not approve your case before you submit these additional evidences.

I wish you luck and fast approval.
