I am so embarrassed. What are they looking for??? We have a baby and I think it is sufficient evidence for our marriage. It is not fair. God please help us. I am in the same boat. Our baby doesn't have a mom until the visa goes through. Babies invoke some pretty stong emotions... you try to protect them and give them the best you can, and having a mom is part of that. You should call - the touches don't mean everything, and their computer systems are messing up left and right. It certainly won't hurt to call! I got another touch on both of my petitions today, but still no approval. We called them through RFE line and there is nothing. They said that our cases are pending and processed on time. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	HOW COME THEY NEVER touch my case.	We have sent our I 130 on 15 February and nothing yet. Actually we don't have touches too. Only before a week but this was because we called CSC through RFE line. So you are not the only one who sent in February and without touches. I don't agree that touches are not important. Most people here when receive real touches got their approval soon or got RFE. So touches mean that somebody work on your case. I am sure that nobody has worked or looked on our cases. I am wondering what is so difficult to approve them. Moreover we are married more than a year and have a child. I hope you, me and all February and March filers to receive approval soon. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Seperation of Children from Parent	Unfortunately USCIS doesn't matter the fact that families with children are separated. Like Nfgirl we have baby too - 7 months old and my husband wasn't able to be present even for the birth. Moreover - one of the many times when he spoke with the officers from USCIS a lady told him that because of the child our process can be longer. There are more papers to be reviewed. I am shocked. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Are our three petitions "linked" together?	We have sent I130 petitions for myself and our two daughters. We also had to send a change of address recently, which we did online. The notices saying the address change had been done arrived for myself and my youngest daughter on the same day but for my eldest daughter 1 week later. I was not concerned as her name begins with a Z so she regularly gets things through a day so later than her sister (poor kid!). However, We have not received an NOA1 and when I called to request it be resent. The customer (Dis)service lady said she noticed our cases were not "linked" and that she would do it for us. I was expecting that a touch would show on the case but nothing has so I presume she hasn't done a thing! Basically when I ring back again (because clearly we all love being on hold for ever!!) I want to know if I should ask them to link the 3 cases? I should perhaps mention that the children are 4 and 8 so no issues with being over 21 or anything like that. Thanks for any help or advice you can offer. Hi Esmp! As far as I know the petitions must linked. My husband has sent two petitions I 130 /for me and our child/ and when he called customer service they said to him that petitions are related and will be reviewed together. According to me if your petitions are not linked there is something wrong. Try to call them again and ask if everything is now in order. We had a touch on our I-129F around 6 PM EST but the status just showed pending still. Then at 9:02PM EST I got en email from CRIS saying our I-130 had been approved on August 8, 2007. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Not In-Line Approvals??	Hi Gogo, I know how you feel but try not to bother about that not in line approval. For me and my family CSC is a big nightmare. You can see from my timeline how long we waited for approval......Now we are waiting again - 35 days and CSC hasn't transfered our petition to NVC yet. Hi Kalina, Everything I've read indicates your I-129f should be the only petition going to the NVC right now. My stepdaughter's I-130 is still pending, and will stay that way until AOS is filed. Zolanden is in the same situation. Your husband needs to call both the USCIS and the NVC and explain what happened. I'm sure you don't want to take the chance and have her go through the longer CR1 visa process. They may be able to keep your daughter's paperwork on hold at the NVC, while you still go through the K3,K4 process. Don't despair, you'll be out of this soon. Parachute, we were intending to go through K3/K4 route. I can't leave my daughter. But instead of sending I 129 F to NVC, CSC has sent I 130.
