Our petition is at CSC too. Before a week we called them and somebody said that it was sent to NVC. The last was not true sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif . My husband called this Friday and they said that it is still at CSC. They wait to pile up sufficient number (10 000 or 15 000) of applications and after that sent them to NVC with a truck. This process drives me crazy crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif

We called CSC and according to them papers are sent but NVC has not input them in the system. So the reason is in NVC not CSC. I don't know which is true. Our are not in NVC system yet. This process is so disgusting. crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif

kalina did csc say when they shipped the papers? cause i called them on friday and they said they were still in the mail room. lazzyyy bastards........

Neel, like always information from USCIS is contradictory. From CSC said that they sent petition on the same day when it was approved. Now I am suspicious about that having in mind your information. My husband called NVC too and the lady said that they didn't received it. When he told to her about the answer from CSC she said - "yes, it is possible, petition to be here at NVC and to wait to be input in the system.
Neel, did you ask about your I 129 F or you asked about I 130. My husband said to me that in NOA 2 the timeline for I 129 F to be received at NVC is from 2 to 4 weeks. He said that this timeline - to wait 90 days before calling NVC is only for I 130. Additionally I 129 F has validity and if this for 90 days is true it will expire. I am so confused and begin to worry again crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif

Thanks a lot sau!

You mean we'll get the approved letters,on both of I130, (me and daughter) and I129F?
I am a bit worried that her I130 is still pending according the site, however mine approved already.

Zolanden, like Sau we received our NOA2 in mail within a week after approval. I think that your daughter I 130 is approved too but they didn't update online status. If it is not approved yet there is not a problem for her to go to USA with K4 visa. In spite of that you have to call USCIS if they didn't approve her petition.

Thanks, Kalina. From this thread, it sounds like I shouldn't even bother calling until around mid-September. Oh well, I'm just so thrilled that we got our NOA2 and that the longest part of the wait is over!!! biggrin.gif

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresApril K3 Filers
QUOTE (My Honey @ Oct 1 2007, 03:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Good morning all April filers. It's another week and I'm already rattled! I am very happy for the people but, I am extremely upset, and becoming to take this whole process more and more personal!!! There was another May filer approved by VSC. Why do these people keep our applications at CSC when they do not have the capacity to handle all these applications? In the meantime VSC is processing applications and our applications sit and the back log continues to grow! How comes no one is recognizing this huge problem? Also, the May filer did not have any touches! Our applications started to be "touched" Sept 25, 26, 27, & 28. Still we do not have a decision. This now is making me nervous and I feel like I am on the edge! What more will these people do to ya? I'm sorry for venting but, I am so frustrated!!! Our families continue to be seperated and all of our lives remain on hold. That is the bottom line on how you look at this. Also, I understand there is not a damn thing we can do until we finish this horrible process of USCIS... I really am thinking about when this ####### is over to publish a book on the entire process. I believe everyone should told about this horrible nightmare!!
Anyhow best of luck to everyone........ yes.gif

Call CSC and ask about these touches. Wish you luck good.gif good.gif good.gif

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresGreetings from a Newby
Yes, the waiting time is very difficult. When I was waiting for my approvals some people couldn't believe me that it is possible to be married and to wait so long to be with your husband/wife.
Sent to your wife a link to this forum so she will be aware about the USCIS backlog and waiting time.
I waited 8 months to come to USA and to be with my husband. /K 3 visa/.
In the summer Vermont was quicker than California. It is possible your case to be approved withing 3 or 4 months. Some people have their approvals fast. Wish you to be from them good.gif good.gif good.gif

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresHaving a baby to show bonafide evidence ?
I have my interview for K3/K4 visa at the embassy in October. I know my husband for 3 years and we have 1 year old baby. When I went to the interview I brought with me many photos where we have been together and from the wedding. The CO refused to take them. He said he didn't need them because it is pretty clear that our marriage is real because we have a child. They didn't ask me questions to verify our relationship. We received our visas. It is my personal experience. They even didn't take my evidences. We never made DNA test.
When we sent our I 130 one of the requirements was to enclose documents proving family relationship. One of this documents is "Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to you, the petitioner, and your spouse together". We enclosed only Birth certificate and everything was o.k.
Frankly speaking I don't believe that somebody will have a child only for immigration purposes. For me it is not serious to think that having a child is a proof that you have only sexual relationship with this woman/man. Hope that most families have children after serious relationship.

Or should I write "to be with my husband"?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI134 and previous affidavits and petitions

Par. 9 in I-134 asks about previously submitted affidavit(s) of support, and par. 10 asks about previously submitted visa petitions. I submitted two I-129F: in 1999, and in 2005, and one I-134 for one of these persons in 2000, and another I-134 just for a friend in 2001. I told my fiancee about all this. However, I do not want her seeing girls' names in this document she will be able to read. She does not know them as they live in different cities, and I do not keep any relationships wiht them. Nevertheless, I do not want their names in I-134. I just put dates of submission. Should this be OK? Any thoughts? (I do not have any dependents and well above the 125% threshold limit)

:) well I don’t think this should be a problem for your fiancée. Is that such a problem if other names are shown on your I-134? As you say yourself, you’ve filled for a friend too…I’m sorry but, but I don’t really understand why exactly are you uncomfortable with…she knows all right that you’ve filled for others.
Don’t worry about your previous life, it’s of nobody’s concern but yours and of course the oficcials. These applications are ment for other purposes. It is good enough that you are totally honest to yourself and your fiancée. I’m sure she will understand as she did so far. My suggestion would be to state everything that is of your knowledge. Good luck and there’s nothing to be ashamed of.

On the contrary we’re having the opposite problem, my fiancé doesn’t remember the exact date of his filling for his previous girlfriend who came on a tourist visa for about 20 days. It was 2 years ago and he recalls just the month and year, but not the date :(
I don’t know if that can cause a problem…and really I don’t think he’s lying.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionUPDATE!
Thank you all for your replies and support :)

The procedures have changed, yes. There were notifications all over the waiting room that due to increased number of visa applications there is no longer possibility to send additional papers via mail or fax...lucky me huh....I just wonder why they don’t divide immigrant and non-immigrant applications and interviews etc.

I guess we’ll just have to wait...
BUT the bottom line is that I’m not afraid anymore, no, no, even if I’m interviewed once again I know I have nothing to hide and I’ll be as calm and as possible.
We have a grater cause to deal with here don’t we – love!

My fiancé has a saying: What has this “minor detail” anything to do with the whole eternity in front of us

God bless you all!

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionUPDATE!
Hi again (F)

After I wrote an e-mail to the Consulate on Friday I got this reply (Monday 7):

Ms. A.:
An appointment is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5th, at 10:00 a.m.
This is the earliest available date.

Sincerely,
Immigrant Visa Unit

My question is: Am I going to be interviewed once again or the purpose of this appointment is just to present my document and afterwards the Consul will decide upon my visa application?

This is the review of the experience I had at the interview:
http://www.visajourn...showtopic=66801

As I could see the initial interviews were scheduled at 8am as was mine, but afterwards there were people showing up for additional proceeding at 10 or 10:30 when the Consul comes to his working place :)

Anyone with similar experience?
Prognosis....something pls?!?

...what a petty, waiting for 5 weeks just for showing a peace of paper that can be done in just 5 min....mea culpa, mea culpa....but after all, I’m relatively ok with their quick reply

CONGRATS TO ALL THE NICE COUPLES THAT ALREADY GOT THEIR APPROVALS !!!

Btw, this is the letter that I’ve sent to the Consulate, it may help others:

Re: K-1 fiancée visa application – Police Certificate

Dear Madam/Sir,

I am writing to you in regard to my K-1 fiancée visa interview that was preformed yesterday - May 3, 2007.

Details:
Name of fiancée: AA
Passport Number: XXXXXX
Name of USC petitioner: XX
INS Receipt Number: EACXXXXXXXXXX
Petition Approval date: March, 13
Case Number: SKOXXXXXXXXXX
Alien Number Assigned: AXXXXXXXXX

I was given signed notice by American Consular Officer with marked 221(g) section of the Immigration and Naturalization Act with a note that Police Certificate is required.
I was advised that I should obtain my Police clearance and immediately notify the American Consular Section by e-mail in order to complete my visa application and pursue the procedure to the point of visa issuance.
Please note that my fingerprints have been taken as well as my DS-156K sworn statement signed and all documentary proof for my K-1 fiancée visa application has been reviewed and kept at the Consulate.

Thus, with this e-mail I’m expressing my readiness to show my Police Certificate received from the Macedonian officials – Ministry of Interior, to the American Consular Officer since I have these documents in my possession. (both Macedonian original and English certified translation)

I can be contacted at any time at:

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresK3-March'07 Filers-Case Transferred to CSC

Hello fellow K-3 Filer's,

Just would like to ask what this means?

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. does this means "touched" or "approved"?

thanks.

This means that your documents are received in USCIS, check is cashed, and now you have to wait to be approved.

Your question is not very clear. As far as I can understand your I 129 F is approved and you have received your K3 visa. If you are already in USA you must file for AOS. If it is so ask your question in the Adjustment of Status topic. People there are inform with this part of the process.
