My question is: Do you think it is ok for the kids to miss out the first 3-4 weeks of school? Do you think they would still be able to cope up with lessons? (My daughter is 10, would be 11 next november, while my son is 8, would be 9 by september.) Do you think it would be ok for the kids to attend school 3rd or 4th week of september then be absent on Oct. 3 or would it be better for them to start school till after october 3 when everything has finally been settled, including the wedding. I have talked to the kids and they said they are ok with going there on september, though they would actually rather stay here till next year or even till after they finish grade school (which is sooo out of the question ). Classes here starts next week and the kids would still be going to thier old school here June-July so they will be occupied while waiting and also be able to spend more time with their friends in school. Spent the day with the kids and also sorting out things I would be shipping off to Ricky's place.... and also spent the day serving my siblings, cooking for them (coz they would surely be missing my cooking when the time comes) and helping my sister find the best school for my nephew... and also, spent some time using my belly dance and miss electra's aerobic striptease VCD's. I realized I have not been excercising a lot in several months... so I let out all my frustrations through moving belly bulges and arm flaps. .. It did good to the soul and I guess, also to the body. Ricky will be calling next week, perhaps he will get better response from USEM people. Some folks said that they are more accomodating when it is the foreign national who makes inquiries but when it is just the Filipino fiancee/spouse, they often give the cold shoulder. Well, I am hoping and praying that Ricky will get the "Oh, your fiancee's and that of her children's visa are already out for delivery." Thank you very much to all of you... Unfortunately, the Philippines is a high fraud country and some women in the past have sought marriage with foreign nationals even though they were still married in their home country. they simply submitted fake birth certificates and fake CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage) so now, all couple who are in a genuine and honest relationship are made to suffer because the embassy will now do their own verification, meaning they will not believe if you will submit your own CENOMAR, they will still need to send verification request to the Philippine NSO (National Statistics Office) to verify the authenticity of your papers. And usually it will take 1-6 weeks just to do the document verification. We are asked to pay document verification fee several weeks before interview "to avoid delay" as stated in the USE Manila website but still becoz it is causing major delays. If only my document verification result was not yet with embassy and they are still waiting for it, then it won't really stress me out that much because at least I know the reason why I am still waiting. But my verified documents are already with them (I paid April 10, a month before interview) as of now, I really don't have a clue why they are holding our papers. I am not removing the approved beside my interview date. i still believe in my heart that I was approved (the CO said so right after the interview) and it is just a matter of time till the CO could finally come to his senses and order the issuance of my visa. They returned every photograph we sent during I-129F petition application so the only pics that they have are the picture on our passports and also those that were attached to the forms and also those picture the the medical center took(they forwarded everything to embassy).. CONGRATS on being together finally Kelly & Damian .... and Rina & Randy, I am sooo happy for you .. Now if only Mounia would get that NOA2 already ... Has anybody heard anything from Sally? how was her CT scan? An update on our visa... I am at lost now what is going on.. I called the embassy 2x and I was told to just wait coz "Your documents are still with the officer. We don't know if we will be asking additional documents from you so just wait, ok. Bye!" The lady i talked too was soft spoken but I couldn't help but cry after that call. Some on the Philippine forum has been waiting for weeks and months for their visa because of document verification. My document verification results was with USEM already since interview date. So the it is only the additional review that is holding our papers up. Why the need for additional review when it has passed USCIS, it passed the prescreener, I was interview by the CO and he said everything looks good, then it passed another post screener, now it is back with the CO for additional review.... it feels worst than waiting for NOA2. I wanted to think they are scrutinizing me further because I have two kids but one of the lady who had interview date same as mine, who also have two kids and is also on K1/K2 visa already received her visa May 27.. it was released by embassy May 23, just two days after interview.. while our papers is probably sitting on the CO's desk for over a week now. i'm sorry for venting... it is just that this part of the process seems to be the hardest for me. I wouldn't have minded playing the waiting game again if only I know why I am made to wait. It is not knowing what is really holding our papers up that is eating me. I'm sorry again... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January filers VSC lottery, who gets the jackpot next?	hello guys, i miss all of you.. we had our medical tuesday last week but my kids had to undergo skin test and we were asked to come back thursday. unfortunately the skin test was positive for both of them so they were asked to undergo xray which meant another day of anxiety and waiting for result. Thank God the xray result was negative and they were then given immunization shots last friday and was declared A-OK for interview.... so we are off for interview two days from now. We are ok here only downside is i don't have access to internet whenever i want to, i still need to go to an internet cafe.... we are eating junk foods(fast foods) here coz hotel foods is more expensive and we are trying to save every cent we can... and my kids had their first taste of typhoon here in Manila. I just thank God that it was only signal number 1. I am on an internet cafe right now, going home to my hometown on thursday a day after interview. I hope to share some good news about our interview by then. Congrats to all who passed medical and interview and Good luck to those who will be having medical and interview this week. Been pretty busy lately organizing my papers for medical and interview.. will be leaving to our capital city, Manila, on Monday (Sunday evening for some of you) and won't have easy access to PC and the net... Was Bella there on interrogation for her involvement in a crime with international consequence? GOLLY!!!??? I'm so sorry that Bella has been subjected to that kind of treatment. Picture with your kids when they were 6 years old will not prove that she is the mother.... the birth certificate and baptismal certificate can do that better.... and if they don't trust those documents, why didn't they just ask for DNA test. I hope and pray you will hurdle this and that everything will be fixed soon. Stay strong. Our prayers are with you always. If you are the USC, I hope you would try calling again until you get hold of a more pleasant person... just remember, they maybe working with the USCIS but it is our application fee that gives them salary.
