Maybe I should start on a pure vegetarian diet and then go for the advance yoga meditation, i might then be able to summon the NOA2 for all of us. whistling.gif It might be great to see those NOA2 flying up in the sky, movingtowards all those who are still waiting... yes, including the CSC filers and all those waiting since last year... nah, I am not losing my sanity... yet. I've just drank too much iced tea it getting into my head laughing.gif

Kidding aside. I am really praying we all get our NOA2 soonest... no matter where we filed.

I'm hearing you all. smile.gif I'm not like the highly traditional holier than thou religious people who try to shove their faith and beliefs in other people's throat. I'm actually tolerant and understanding of different people's beliefs (as long as there is no killing or hurting other people as sacrificial offering).

when i hold all of you guys in my prayers, it doesn't mean I am forcing you to believe the God i believe in... It's just me wanting to hold all of you in my thoughts when I talk to Him... Like a child happily telling her father or mother about her new friends in prep school and what she wish for them to have.... and of course I want all of you to have not only petition(I-129F) approvals but also VISA approvals plus a lifetime of happiness with your respective S.O... and of course, I pray the same for myself blush.gif

MAN! I missed out on all the fun topic here happy.gif .

It's thursday night here and thursday eves is the regular sched for our church cell group praying meeting..... well, at least some of my prayers were answered. There's another january VSC filer who got approved, also one july VSC filer and one of my friend who filed @ CSC last november. I am really so happy for all of them star_smile.gif

I just hope God will also remember that I did include the granting of our I-129F approval in my prayers. sad.gif ... Well, maybe He is just waiting for the perfect time. His perfect time maybe a little different from mine but He is still the Boss & the Captain of my life.... I am just praying for more understanding and more patience and more faith to help me through this process so i would be able to take it no matter how long He wants me to wait.

Same here Robyn, it's been 8 months since I last saw Rick. crying.gif .. and we will be counting some more months before we see each other again which would be when he comes here to get us... hopefully by August. I wish for him to be with me when I get my interview (yes, i have not lost all hope that we will get the NOA2 soon and interview will be sched between now to June) but it is just too expensive, there are a lot of cases in the Philippines where the visa applicant is put on AR for a couple of weeks so we can't take the risk. I would need him more when it will be time to leave coz I can't handle two kids on my own plus tons of luggage.

No, it doesn't necessarily mean an RFE. It could just be somebody moving our file from one part of the desk to another. Touches could mean nothing at all... but it could also mean something.

Touches sometimes precedes an approval or an RFE... but there are also some approvals which did't even have any touch at all.... if only this process will be more transparent.

have you read about hoosier's approval? they didn't get any email & their online status still says pending but they got a touch on march 20 and they received the NOA2 hardcopy today with and approval date of March 20 yes.gif .... who knows one of those touches you've got means the hardcopy has been sent already. It will be soon for you guys, I can smell it in the air good.gif .. the last time I said those words, i went to sleep and then woke up with an approval email. yes.gif

Somehow there are people who don't get approval email nor online status update but only know about their approvals when they receive their hard copy of NOA2 through snail mail or a letter from NVC. I strongly wish that such is the case for all those who are still waiting, that somehow all of you are has been approved already and will soon be receiving your hard copy this week and perhaps your papers are even on its way to NVC at this very moment. If that won't be the case, then I hope and pray that you will all be getting your approvals soonest.

Editing and updating the january list was slowly eating me up emotionally when I was still waiting and I was seeing all the approvals left and right from people who filed within my timeframe and after me. But I didn't know that it will be getting even harder now that I am seeing people still waiting on our list. My heart really goes out to all of you.

I hope you are all hanging on strong. I'm keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers and I am 101% sure all the others who have been approved are also keeping you all in their hearts and prayers and sending good wishes your way. Hang on and Stay strong, your NOA2 is coming very very soon.

That's right, no more Starbucks soon. I will be working at a bank, at their top branch in North Jersey. That's right, a real job, working with people my own age. LOL.

I'm actually kind of upset though, believe it or not. It's that whole "major life change drpression thing".. I really love my co-workers, and I love the job too. It just that the pay is horrendous, the work is extrememly physical and upper management (Target, not Starbucks) treats us poorly.

Something interesting about the new job is that its full-time, but only a four day work week. Every other weekend off, with three days off per week. Sounds like it could be nice. Wish it was Mon-Fri like a regular office job, but I guess that won't happen for me.

My dad is going to stay at the house to provide childcare until Gerry gets here, whenever that finally is. Can't see it happening before mid-July now.

So yep, that's my good news. Now I get to look forward to the stress of giving notice to the current job.

I always believe that things happen for a reason. It may be that God is still preparing the best of everything for you and Gerry. If you had gotten your NOA2 before you learned of this new job it will be TOO STRESSFUL: You will be adjusting in the new job while you will be dealing with stressful paper works and making follow ups with NVC, the embassy, etc. I don't know but it might have been too much. But if you will be settled first in the new job and then the NOA2 comes, it will be more smooth sailing for you. yes.gif

Don't worry about the touches, we were last touched 3weeks before approval. You will get the NOA2 before you get to be with Gerry again which would be april 26 as indicated in your sig. It will come before that, I can feel it in the air. good.gif

Amanda: Your story is inspiring as it contradicts what I have always heard about people in the US just not caring enough for their elderly parents.... though most don't have a choice because of hectic schedule, etc.
