I got my WAC# off the back of the check and have checked my status online for the first time (I've already got the urge to keep checking...). Anyway, now that the check has been cashed, how long does it usually take to get NOA1? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	great news	Hi guys, i have great news - finally my case has been forwarded to The US Embassy in Bulgaria. Pretty quick i have to say.NVC is doing a great job and very fast. I wish to all of you so expedite service as mine. However there is still something that is bugging me now.My name was misspelled in the letter from NVC, i am not sure about NOA1 and NOA2( i have to check with my fiancee) but if it is so what should i do.It is not a big deal i guess because only 1 letter is missing in my first name.What do you guys think? Notify USCIS since they are the ones that made the typo. They will re-issue you an new NOA2 for the embassy. I wouldn't take any chances of something like this holding you up during the interview. Call the 1-800 and follow the prompts regarding a petition that has already approved. I believe they have the option if you are calling regarding an error. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Now More Waiting!!!!!!!	Today I expressed mailed 16 lbs. of documents to my Salve. Including my I-134 and supporting documents. I am on a trip and hoping my letter from NVC is waiting on me when I return home Saturday. We have been so concern about the NOA2 that we forgot about everything else. Salve and I both are on cloud 9 praying we are together for Christmas. We will see if Taiwan is quicker than others. She has known other friends be in the states within 2 months of NOA2. Maybe it is just a dream. Congratulations, Richard! Do you mean we had a choice as to what US Embassy we were to use? We answered the questions in Part C correctly (nothing checked) on the I129f although a record exists for other crimes ... would that effect an approval? You have to be more specific on what the crime is. Although I can not think of question C right at this point because I have already sent in my petition, it would be best to put down any thing the person has been arrested for, even a driving offense. It is best to be truthful and specific than to try and hide it and they find out later. They will think you tried to lie to them. I am not an expert but this is what my lawyer had told me when I had a similar situation. WJR I'm not sure that's good advice. The section asks if the petitioner committed any of those specific crimes. Writing anything else down that's not related will only convolute the process. There is a criminal background check done at some point, but for the K-1 , I-129F form, I would only answer to the questions that are being asked and nothing more. ...as to the OP's question - I would recommend consulting with an immigration attorney on whether it will affect your approval. As far as I understand it, your fiance would have to explain why he should not have to wait 2 years before applying for another K-1.
