K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Evidence of ongoing relationship- letters, e-mails, etc.	Are copies of personal letters and e-mails really necessary before the consular stage? There is nothing in our letters that could be damaging to our case (unless CIS frowns on swear words...) but I still don't feel comfortable allowing anyone, let alone the U.S. government, read my most personal of possessions. I realize you can black out information, but I don't know where to draw the line, and I'd be highly tempted to black out almost the entire letter. So in light of that, as long as I send in photos, phone records, flight tickets, etc. do I really need to include letters? We went for K1 and did not include any personal letters or emails in our original application. We just included a letter of how we met and how we got engaged, some pics and the airline tickets plus all the required paperwork. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	How to begin, how to begin!!	Hello everyone, I love this site, it gives a lot of comfort for those long distances. I'm new to this site, but I have been reading a lot of the helpful posts here. I'm Heather, and I'm wanting to bring my Egyptian fiance to the US via k1 or k3. My first question: which is faster? I have heard mixed comments about K1 being faster than K3...but I am not sure. Also, I am a recent college graduate and he is still in school in Egypt. I am currently seeking out a job and definitely need that steady income for the I-129...if I do get that job...is it ok that I just started working and I file as soon as I begin looking, or do they need a couple solid years with that same company? I really hope not. Thank you in advance for all your feedback and I look forward to the process at hand! If you have a sponsor or co-sponsor in the U.S. who will help, like your parents, then you won't have to worry about the financial part so much. Somebody else might be able to tell you how to use a co-sponsor with the I-134. Good Luck! We went the K-1 route, because it is just too much of a hassle getting married in Morocco, I would find out what it takes to get married in Egypt, is it a big runaround or is it fairly simple. If you don't meet the income requirements, you MUST find a co-sponsor, I have one friend in Egypt hung up on that right now. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	pls help!!!!I've been using vonage can u use it as proof for on going relationship!!!!	my fiance registered to vonage and he sent it to me so i can call him unlimited Philippines to US.We talk for hours daily UNLIMITED now my question is can we use it as proof coz the number was registered to US so whenever i call him it would reflect as local call.It has been a great help for us but can we use it as proof coz the number was US and it was under his name although I was the one using it to call him. we also use prepaid phone cards the one that u can buy at the store cos it's cheaper but it doesn't show any call history & we dont use it that often because i have vonage and I dont know if it's sufficient proof. thank u all . I gave Luz a Vonage also. I had her take a picture of herself with the Vonage adapter and I plan to take a printout of her bill and call history. I will also point out that the calls on the Vonage are either to or from my cell or landline. Great Idea to take a picture of Luz with the adapter!! I started to get tired of waiting, especially when my dad's being crapy to me lately, I can't wait leaving this house to be with Sam... I wonder when it will come in? They haven't even touch our file yet even, I wonder why. Our NOV1 was on October 23rd 2006. Anyone got the same problem? I wouldn't get too worried, I know it's tough seeing others that filed after you being approved ahead of time, but it's all a waiting game. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Another I-129F Question	Your has to sign the document, so have them write that section in their native language. If that's not possible than do like some others have in the past and go to your local cambodian market or restaurant and have one of the employees write the name in Cambodian. The authentic signature is most important, I think. The non USC doesn't sign the I-129F he signs the G-325a. I hired a lawyer before I knew about VJ and he just left question 16 blank, and Hassan signed the G-325a in english and arabic. It got approved just fine. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	If You Are Denied Entry at POE	We just miss each other to much so going to go ahead and start planning another visit for him for in February. We know about all the ties from home and if he is denied he will be sent back to england, my question is if that does happen does anyone come out and tell you whats going on? I mean obviously I will be picking him up from the airport but worst case scenario and they dont let him in does someone come out and tell me? Or if Im there waiting for hours and I go ask at one of the desks does anyone tell you whats going on? I know Im probably worrying over nothing, but I cant help to think of the worst and cant imagine spending hours upon hours at the airport if something didnt go right and noone telling me anything and me just standing there waiting not knowing what to do I was with my fiance, now husband, at the POE at JFK. I noticed there were representatives of the different airlines comming in and out of the room where all the visa people had to wait to get their clearance, they have access to the officers and know them, also they have access to the people waiting. My advice would be, if he doesn't show up for a long time, go to the airline he is traveling in on and talk to them about checking on him. I'm not sure they will do that, but while we were waiting, there was a Royal Air Maroc guy that came in there several times and talked to the immigration officers and to us. Also saw other representatives from other airlines. But you have to allow plenty of time, ours took about 2 1/2 hrs, because there was a long line. Although she has three other daughters that live in Casa, Maroc, she is not comfotable staying with them. She wants to come with my fiance where she will be comfortable and also know that she will be provided for. She also wants to be with us when our baby is born and of course come to the wedding. Is this the correct forum first of all to discuss this??? Any advice??? Bringing a family member when you're not a US citizen yet is pretty hard and takes a long time, years. Once he is a citizen it will be alot easier, but you're looking at a few years wait for that. I would try a tourist visa for the mom. Correct me if I'm wrong though anybody. There have been instances where RAM is saying that it's illegal for them to sell him a one way ticket with a K-1. Tell him that's not a fact and just to go somewhere else. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Sealed Envelope	Can anyone tell me what is in the sealed envelope that is to be presented at Immigration upon arriving in the U.S.? Also, how long more or less do they take to review it and sendyou on your way? It has all the papers on you that you and your fiance ever filled out, your medical etc etc, everything. At the POE they will take it from you at the booth, process you through fairly fast, just a few minutes, then (at JFK) they will send you to a room and you'll wait until they call your name and have you come up to the counter or in another room. Now that guy will have all your papers, he'll ask you a couple of questions, give you the I-94 and your passport back and you're on your way. That sounds like a free trip to me. She really doesn't need a deportation on her record, which would make immigration to this or other countries difficult for her, she voluntarily wants to go back, her fiance should be the one flipping the bill.
