I don't think the wording has changed.... unsure.gif

it actually did... unsure.gif see this discussion for reference!:

mmm, but if I am reading it correctly it says examples still... which would mean the following list are just examples...

if the wording makes it seem that they have to be included that would mean birth certificates would have to be included and how would people who don't have kids accomplish that... unsure.gif

my process took less then 2 months and I didn't send in any affidavits so I doubt that has any bearing on it...

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionDo I have a problem?
QUOTE (Justin and Masako @ Jan 14 2008, 10:26 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Everything I have read has been very clear about applying to remove conditions 90 days before your second anniversary of the date you received conditional status (I had thought this was 90 days before your 2nd wedding anniversary but the following document indicates otherwise).

From: http://www.uscis.gov...00045f3d6a1RCRD
QUOTE
At the time you obtain conditional resident status through admission to the United States with an immigrant visa or through adjustment of status, the USCIS will notify you of the conditional basis of your status, the requirements for removal of the conditions and what will happen if you fail to file a petition to remove the conditions.

The USCIS does not send a second reminder to conditional residents to petition for removal of conditions. During the 90 days before the second anniversary of the date you obtained conditional resident status you and your spouse (if still married) must file to remove the condition. You must file a Form I-751 (Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence). All petitions should be sent to the Service Center that serves the area where you live. Failure to file will result in loss of your resident status. Late filings are permitted with sufficient explanation of the reason(s) for being late in filing.

Hope this helps, though it may be bad news for you. sad.gif

you don't have to file exactly 90 days before the 2nd anniversary... you can file anywhere between 90 days and the day the card expires...

HI, first time I post here in this thread. We just had our biometrics in December and just received a RFE letter. I dont have a mortgage or renters agreement under our name. We live with my father and all utilities are under his name. I have already sent in insurance information under both our names, ins beneficiary names. Income tax filed jointly for 2 years and an official bank letter stating all CD's . checking and savings are under both our names. I am running out of things to send them. I will be sending copies of our drivers lisence showing the same adress and notarized letter from my dad explaining our living situation. Other than looking for letter and emails, photos, etc. I am lost....any ideas??????Help!

the birth certificate is good evidence of a bona fide marriage...

just send in copies of your evidence, even the birth certificate.. that is all they ask for..

QUOTE
Submit copies of documents indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered in ''good faith'' and was not for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws. Submit copies of as many documents as you wish to establish this fact and to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date, and to demonstrate any circumstances surrounding the end of the relationship, if it has ended.

yeah, they will take your passport photos..

but if you want to include some pictures as evidence I would just scan them and print them off or copy them etc...
I-751 dose not require passport photos, and USCIS will schedule a biometrics appointment to take a new picture and fingerprints.

that is what I meant.... tongue.gif they will take your passport photos at the BIO appointment , I didn't add the last part because the person above me already mentioned that....

and the OP was asking about including personal pics as evidence so I was answering her question...

just send in the one affidavit... you don't really need to send them in at all unless you don't have a lot of other evidence but I think one should be fine...

you can file anywhere between 90 days and the day the card expires.....

you should get the NOA letter..CSC is pretty quick with that but if you don't get it you can get the I-551 stamp.. you need to make an info-pass appointment to get the stamp...

did you only get the one notice, the biometrics appointment notice??
