Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionRFE, is it serious or just a normal procedure?
do you have some bills etc. that are just in your name and bills that are just in your spouse's name but show you live at the same address??

I sent in some bills like that...

or envelopes from cards etc. that are addressed to both of you??

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 Documents to remove conditions
I just sent in the hospital certificate we got after our baby was born....

hubby had used this to include the baby on his health insurance and it worked for that.... so I figured it should work for the removal of conditions too....

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionVery bad news, we ned your help!!!
i would still send your account stuff even if it isn't a joint account... like include bank statements from both of your accounts that show you live at the same address...

don't stress... you are not the only one who has gotten an RFE... you really don't need a lawyer.. there is not much they can do for you... all you need to do is send in more stuff...

i think seeing a lawyer is unnecessary...

a lot of people get RFE;s...

just send in more info and you will be fine....

they probably just want to see more financial info...

What about submitting a lease for your apartment or a statement from your landlord with both of your names on it?

Meriem rose.gif

yeah, you should have some kind of lease agreement you signed when you moved in.. send in that... if you don't have one get your landlord to write you a letter...

do you have any utility bills or other bills?? they don't all necessarily have to be in both your names... just bills etc.. that show you live at the same address...

like I included a Netflix bill and a Sirius Satellite Radio bill that are both only in my hubby's name and then I send in some bills that were just in my name but like I said they all showed that we lived at the same address...

yes, you need to inform the USCIS of every move you make... since it is too late to inform them of your previous move I wouldn't worry about it... I would send off a change of address now though and include your new address on the lifting of conditions form...

you need to fill out the AR-11 which you can do online now...

AR-11 - Online Change of Adress

and you also need to fill out the I-865, this one is for your sponsor to fill out which I am assuming is your spouse... this one you have to fill in and mail...

I-865 - Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address

How Do I change My Address

Thank you very much MarilynP , My sponsor was a close family relative. so in this case, i guess i just need to fill the AR--11 form. am i right??

Could any body please answer my second question regarding SS card. I still have that SS card stating something like "able to work with work authorization"..Do i need to change that before i file for removing of conditions.

I don't think so.... the SS card doesn't really come into play when you remove conditions...
