Do you ever get the feeling that maybe....just maybe..... the government of the Philippines is sponsoring the "Meet a Pinay, Get a Wife!" sites as a way to rid itself of it's most useless, annoying, childish, stupid, and prone-to-gain-60-pounds-once-in-the-US women?

Maybe it's just me.

But then.....EVERY Filipina that I have seen in Indiana is at least 60 pounds overweight. So maybe........

I am 100% with you on that.
Let me make one thing clear as well, im NOT predjudise(sp--im tired), however, the american girl bashing is immature and way overrated by the philli girls.
And yes to whoever made that retarded statement about do men even marry american girls anymore, my Romanian husband married me, and my marriage is very well off.
And correct me if im wrong, but the whole time i have been a member of this site, its the philli girls and their "american" fiance's that are the biggest american girl bashers, heres my thought, we dont start threads about how wonderful we are, in other words, we dont need the constant attention of ppl we dont know, so if the philli girls feel the need to get that attention they are obviously not getting it where it should come from, they will get it, but it wont always be what they want to hear, thats the thing with forums, you can preach your qualities all you want, no one is kissing your ####### bc of it.
im off to bed now.

it wasn't a PI girl who started this thread...

Bottom line is whichever works best will have to be the ultimate choice. So far, my MJ was never a pain in the a*s and I would keep using it. COns - you need a reliable broadband or DSL connection. Again, I am a very satisfied customer and so far I will not trade it for anything else.

I agree with you in that. good.gif I guess those people who prefers to see the person they are talking to prefers YM Messenger and for people who prefers to pay minimal amount and are satisfied with MJ's service uses MJ and for those people who has parents like me uses Vonage laughing.gif i love my parents though tongue.gif

I have parents like you so may I know how much do you pay for Vonage? You parents are in PI, right?

Yes they are in PI. Marilyn is right, their monthly fee is $24.99 (including all their features) + taxes = $30 to $31 (monthly total)

Is there Vonage available in PI or I need to buy it here and send it to PI. That's cheaper than our monthly phone bill. I call my parents every other day and if i use MJ, i dont know how are they gonna install the driver in the PC, so i guess i'd prefer Vonage.

No, there is no Vonage in Pinas. You have to order it here in the US and buy that Vonage box. I think we paid $70 just for that box. When we received that box, we called the customer rep of Vonage and they helped us to set it up, After the set up , we sent it to Pinas. Don't forget to inform them that you'll send it to Pinas because they will ask for some code located at the back of the box. We only paid $9.99 + taxes on the first 3 months of their service then $31 (including all the taxes) after the first 3 months. Btw, the customer reps of Vonage are Pinoys smile.gif

we got our box free when we signed up for Vonage...

I say:

And you actually had the time to scour ALMOST ALL filipina pages and checked each one of them out to see where their fiance(s) are coming from for you to make that generalization? Why don't you show the website where you got your FACTS then?

AND I SAY: Again.......I said "IT SEEMS" Hello???? Anyway, like I said, prove me wrong. I have never seen a filipina's fiance from anywhere besides the US. The website? THIS ONE!! good.gif

Not in the Medical or Nursing field

Sounds more like a Nanny / Baby Sitter for old people............

I applied to work for an agency that hired out people to go work for older people who were still ok to be living on their own but needed some help.. they were specifically looking for people who had some kind of nursing degree... which I didn't have ..... they did hire me, in case someone needed help that didn't require a medical degree but I never heard from them...

PhilippinesFilipino Dishes

Same here...my husband likes meatballs in his spaghetti and I cooked it Italian style he doesn't like the Filipino way actually he says taste weird I think because there's sweet taste on it when you add the banana ketchup lol. :hehe: But he likes the other stuff like Adobo, Caldereta and Pancit.

I just made the sauce and I like the sweetness of it.. I kind of ad-libbed the recipe.. I threw things in from a couple of different recipes I found...

I just fried up some onion, garlic and bell pepper.... and then added a tad bit of salt and pepper and soy sauce... then I added a can of sgetti sauce, some tomato paste, some banana ketchup, some tomato ketchup, a bit of brown sugar and a bit of grated cheese... oh and I added the meatballs and the hotdogs to it...

sorry, I know this is an old thread but I didn't know where else to ask...

so tomorrow's dinner is going to be Filipino Spaghetti.... I have never had it before but I have heard from a few people that is good...

I still need to find a recipe though.. I was wondering if any of you had a good recipe for it

I know the basic ingredients , tomato sauce, banana ketchup, ground meat, hot dogs... although instead of ground meat I was thinking of using the meatballs I have frozen in the freezer, do you think that would work?...

PhilippinesAge difference of fiance to fiancee?

I agree with most of what you're saying. But there are also cultural differences between Americans, Filipinos, Canadians, Danishians etc. that shouldn't be ignore either. No matter...the only important issue is knowing and loving the person you're with, no matter the age.

it just seems that some men on here, not just in this forum, seem to love their wife more for where she is from then who she is personally..
