Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	The correct pronunciation is to say it like it is a "y", like relleno would be pronounced rey-yeno. It's the same whether it's in the middle of a word, or the beginning. Depending upon the person's accent, or how fast they speak, sometimes they cut short certain sounds. Cubans speak so fast that it seems like they cut parts of words off sometimes. well my last name is Padilla and the LL is pronounced like "ee, ya" .. ok nevermind i just realized my mistake Pa-Dee-Ya .. the DI is making the EE sound... oops Edited by Marilyn., 17 September 2010 - 04:38 PM. I'm friends with one of my husbands aunts, and her posts are ridiculously boring and way too frequent. She's a stay at home mom with a 4 year old, and an 8 year old with autism. All she posts about is coupons, cooking, cleaning, and Jesus. Oh and then she gives us constant updates on how her kids are doing in far more detail than anyone would care to read about. instead of deleting them you can set it up so that person's posts don't show up on your wall.. you go to that person's post and click on the little X and it will give you a few options one of them being "hide ____"	Marilyn. Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	oh and I noticed that they actaully reprocessed a couple of my other claims too.. so now I owe more money on those too this stupid medical ####### I went through a few months back as cost me around $800 to $900 a good chunk of that was a stupid ER visit where they didn't do anything but poke me a little, take a blood test and a urine test and give me something nasty to drink.. it cost me around $300 just for that... Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	grr, I am really tired of dealing with health insurance #######.... so I get this bill for something I thought I had already sorted out back in June... I contact the Hospital billing company and they tell me that the insurance company reprocessed the claim.. so I contact the insurance company and after a bit we figure out that because I had called the insurance company back in June they decided to do me a favour and reprocess the claim as a inpatient claim and I should be grateful that I only have to pay $85 instead of a couple hundred dollars... but when I contacted the hospital billing company back in June they said they applied an adjustment and I didn't owe anything... grrr so maybe if I would have contacted them first back in June I wouldn't owe this money now.. grrr oh and the lady today kept saying that I had asked them to reprocess the claim and I hadn't, back in June I was told they couldn't do anything about it because the doctor was out of network.. they decided to reprocess it not me ..grrr	Marilyn. I went to the ER there back in March and I paid what I was supposed to pay and then in June I get this bill for a few hundred bucks and I was like WTH? so I phoned the insurance company and they said they were trying to double bill the insurance company but they couldn't help me they said because the ER doc was out of network so then I emailed the hospital and they go back to me saying they applied some adjustment and the account was closed with a balance of 0 and I was like "phew" well fast forward today and I get another bill from this stinking place for $85 and it is for the same account... the bill doesn't make sense because from what I can tell the insurance company paid more then they were supposed to, unless I am reading it wrong .. it also looks like the insurance company sent them a payment after I had talked to them.. so I sent off another email to the hospital.. this is driving me bonkers... Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	Ours was $21 this month. And we have the gas turned off right now, so it will be $0 again. I just wish cable/internet was cheaper. Sigh. we don't turn off the gas completely because it is what heats our water and runs our stove but we do turn it off on the heater.. saves us a bunch of money in the warmer months... and yeah our internet is almost 50 bucks a month.. How I wish ours was only 50$ we live in an apartment townhouse type place and we don't really get direct sunlight..except upstairs... so we don't really need to run our AC all day.. i usually turn it on around this time.. plus we are only 2 people.. Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	GRR.. so we made plans tomorrow to go play mini golf with my SIL and her kids.. so today on Facebook I asked the oldest kid (she is 17) if she was coming tomorrow and she said probably.. so then I told my husband, "just watch her Aunt Bebe (my SIL's SIL) is going to see that we made plans with her and decide to do something with her tomorrow".. well, a little later I saw on our niece's page that she was going out tonight with her Aunt Bebe and some other people.. and then I saw Aunt Bebe say that she was sorry she couldn't make it tonight but tomorrow is going to be epic I just know she found out about our plans for tomorrow and decided to make her own plans with her.. grrr this aunt probably sees our niece a few times a week ... we hardly get to hang out with our niece because she is always out with Aunt Bebe... I looked at Walamrt and couldn't find any and was told they went on clearance.. umm, it is the middle of August in Los Angles, I am sure people still want to buy swimwear .. I looked at Kmart and they did have some there but all the ones that he would wear were the wrong colour or size... grrr... Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	*sigh* Well, I'm here to vent. I took my very first road test this morning and failed it. Yep. I've been driving my car around for the past two months and I was feeling super confident and secure. I can parallel park, reverse back in and everything. Even my husband who is NOT an easy sell and a very harsh critic commended me on who good my driving is -- how safe he feels driving with me. So today, take the test, do the field course no problem, park, reverse, 3 point turn, all good. We get out onto the highway and the trainer tells me to prepare to take a right hand turn. I see a right hand turn about 50feet or less from us but I'm not in the right lane and we get a red light, cars are stopped. So I assume she can't have meant that turn, must be the one past the lights. Um, no. It was that one. So, because we deviated off the course, it was an automatic disqualification, we had to pull into a parking lot so she could drive me back to the MVA. Sucked so hard. What a crappy morning. /vent similar thing happened to me.. the person wanted me to make a right hand turn and I had to cross over to the other lane to do it but there was this car coming up and there was no way I could make that turn and the lady scolded me but I still passed though... Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	so yesterday I get this lovely medical bill for $350 for an ER visit I had a few months ago and I was like what is going on here so I called the health insurance company just now.. it turns out the doctor that was in the ER that night is out of network and they are billing me for the claims the health insurance denied and the insurance company can't do anything because the doc is out of network... :S how the heck was I supposed to know he was out-of-network when the hospital I was in was in-Network yesterday I sent the billing company this email.. I just received a bill for $352 for ER services at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital on March 11th, 2010. I called the insurance company and they said that they denied some of the claims because some of the claims overlapped other claims. So I am wondering why I got this bill. this was the response I just got... Our office has received the attached email concerning your account inquiry. Thank you for your reply. A contractual adjustment has been applied towards the account. The account is now closed and reflecting a zero balance.
