the instructions say this...
QUOTE
Evidence of the Relationship

Submit copies of documents indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered in ''good faith'' and was not for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws. Submit copies of as many documents as you wish to establish this fact and to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date, and to demonstrate any circumstances surrounding the end of the relationship, if it has ended. The documents should cover, but not limited to,the following examples:

so I think you can send in whatever you think fits in with that.. pictures etc... just make sure to include lots of financial evidence too... good.gif

i am have along list of evidence and my i have some issues..
i did change of status from F! student visa after i got married...and i got my GC and now is time to remove cond.

i will be attaching an extra page of address and i read that it need to be sign and dated...is that true?
and for the cover letter who need to write and sign the cover letter? my wife US citizen or me ?

and for the photos can i just put 2 photos in each page and punch hole the page i have around 40 photo is that much?

thanks help plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

mohdiesel,
I am not familiar with the F1 student visa, however, in removing conditions you should:
1. sign and date the extra address page - both my husband and I dated and signed ours
2. I really don't think it matters who signs the cover letter, but if you look at the examples given here (click on the 'Example Forms' link) you will see that the USC has written the letter.
3. 40 photos, in my opinion, is quite a lot. At this stage, USCIS is looking for joint financial evidence and evidence of living a commingled life. Many people don't send any photos at all. IF you have a lot of other evidence, then I wouldn't send so many photos.

Why don't you post the rest of your evidence so people can help you better.

okkk.. i c
will here we go ..this my list please check and advise

I didn't send in a cover letter...

the cover letter is just to make it easier for the person going through your file to see what you have included.. so just make a list like you have done above.. and sign and date if you want.. doesn't really matter who signs it..

Hi everyone,

It's finally time for me to apply for removal of conditional status. Here's my problem. 90 days before my greencard expires is May 25. I was supposed to apply already but given my current situation, I decided not to just yet.

The problem is, we're moving soon...around July 1. If I apply now, I'd have to:

1) File for change of address online
2) Call USCIS since I have a pending application when I move
3) Deal with the post office
4) Risk not receiving notices from USCIS

(I know how it is--for some reason, I always happen to have to move when I have a case pending. It happened when I was adjusting my status. What a nightmare. ).

But still, needless to say, it all worked out in the end and I received my greencard. Applying early has the benefits of possibly getting the GC quicker (by almost a month).

If I do wait until after I move (after July 1), all I would need to do is:

1) File for change of address online
2) Apply for removal of conditional status
3) Wait

The latter seems simpler...but what if this causes my greencard to be super-delayed? What if it arrived after my current GC expires?

What do you think should I do? Thanks for all your help

Hi van2006,

First of all, timeline.gif . My Assistant >Edit / Add my Timeline and also add to your signature if you can.

If i read your post correct your GC was going to expire on May 25th 2009. Your 90 day window started sometime in February around 24 or 25th.

Today is May 28th and your GC is expired and you haven't applied for I-751, you are out of stay now and might be put into deportation proceedings.

Good Luck.

reread what the OP wrote in his post

most likely you would get your new green card after your old green card expired anyways , no matter which way you do it..

very few people get the new card before the old one expires .. it can take a few months and even up to a year or more to get the new card...

but you should be getting a NOA that will act as your green card until you get the new card...

you have to remove the conditions 2 years after the date on your green card...

you can apply anywhere between 90 days and the day you card expires but it is best to apply as soon as possible within the 90 days

How were their children citizens with an A#? I'm lost and confused lol. My oldest was born in Texas in 2002 and my youngest was born in Illinois last year. They have never had an A#.

Since I had to send the petition off today, I included their names and put N/A in the field where it asks for their A#. On a separate sheet of paper I explained that my children are both American citizens. Hopefully that will do. If not, I did my best.

you know what I am not quite sure.. something about adoption.... I think the permanent resident legally adopted the USC's child

It is really confusing.. but I have read the instruction of the form I-751 on question number 5 and clearly it states only list those children who are adjusting their status with you.
Still confused but I still have'nt submitted my I-751 as i am waiting for the opening of my 90 days window. Hope someone can help us about this question.

What category are you according to your greencard? IR1 or CR1? If you're IR1, you are a legal permanent resident. If it's CR1, then you're a conditional permanent resident and need to remove the condition.

I checked my 10-year GC... under "Category" it says "K1". So no clue here!

Thats really weird. It says k1.. under category? thats what you came in on correct? k1 visa.. if so your green card should say cr1.,which stands for conditional resident fiance. Thats the 2 year card, which has conditions that has to be removed before 2 years expiration on your green card. However, in my case, the status, IF1,which means no conditions, and 10 year expiration on card match. Im really confused. Im still debating on what i sould do.. if u figure this out please keep me posted wacko.gif

actually CR1 and Ir1 are types of visas... not types of status..

if you come in on a CR1 visa you get a 2 year condiotnal card and then you have to apply for the 10 year card 2 years later

if you come in on a Ir1 visa, you are supposed to get the 10 year card..

if you come in on K1 or K3 visa and apply for AOS and you have been married for under 2 years at the time your AOS approved you are supposed to get the 2 year conditional card...
