I sent my petition on 11/1/13 by USPS.  Dallas Lockbox received it on 11/4/13.  Still awaiting my NOA1.  Hope our cases fly by as it did for others last month.  Read a couple of people here that they received their NOA2 less than 30 day after the NOA1.  But does any one know if the fast turnaround is based on specific countries?  Edited by Can1221, 07 November 2013 - 12:39 PM. APPROVED......   The consul just asked 3 simple questions   Where will you live in the States? When did your fiance arrived from the US on this trip? But I'm only the beneficiary and can't get any more detailed information about our case without the petitioner she said I wanted to know on which date they are working today since my fiance (petitioner) called yesterday and it has been July 16... It was the first time for me that I called them.... Well it seems like I can't talk to them only when he is with me in the same room or we get a connection over our phones where we are both in line and can talk to someone over there... Idk if that is possible or not probably not... I know patience is everything and we are not giving up, it's just disappointing and drives you on some days more crazy as on others. I don't want to wait so long anymore :-/ :'-C   I understand your frustration.....I just don't understand how USCIS works.  How is it possible that cases from September all the way to the first week of December 2013 are getting approved and there are some cases like yours still pending.  You would assume that the cases are handled by a first come first served basis like they state on their website	Can1221	Male	Colombia	2014-01-14 13:27:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 TSC Filers	The fee of $240 per visa comes when the embassy notifies you that they have received the case from NVC (package 3).  Every US Embassy works different.  In the case of the US Embassy in Bogota, Colombia, I would have to pay upfront using my credit card on a website that they have.  At that point, they'll release the consular calendar on the website to show what days are available for the interview. At this point I am just happy and excited to be at this stage of the process. What about you, any word? Another tip NVC line is usually always busy or the wait is so long try calling the DOS 202-485-7600 they are a bit faster maybe a 3 to 5 minute wait if any. Went on the website and there it was guys my case is now at post decision status. Checked my e-mail and it says that the notice was mailed out today so it looks like TSC is starting to do some approvals. Check yours out. I hope more of my fellow November filers get the same news as me.     Sparkle I hope that you too get your NAO2 as well since we have the same timeline. I am praying for you.   WOW!!!! I am so done with this estimated adjudication date on here. It keeps changing every day!!!! I am no longer going by it because if I do I will seriously lose my mind. Based of the provided estimated date I called the USCIS and they said my case is still pending it doesn't look like anything is missing or need but no decision has been made and it looks like it's going to take a while. I don't understand how that can be! they have looked at the case and if nothing is needed or missing why can't they just make a decision already? And am seeing later filers are already getting approvals. MAKES NO SENSE!!!! This is so frustrating. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	please what i can do	You would have to return to your country and re-apply for entry under a different visa.  The K-1 that you entered on is only valid for marriage to the the person who petitioned you.  Also as aleful mentioned above.  If you did not get married to the petitioner, on the 91st day that you entered the United States you became a an undocumented alien that  is subject to removal/deportation  Edited by Can1221, 07 November 2013 - 09:47 PM. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Included the I-134 togther with the I-129F	the I-134 is not required for the USCIS process.  The I-134 comes in play at the US Embassy or Consulate at the interview.  You're should be fine as long as you submitted the I-129F with form G-325a with along with your backup documents.  USCIS should ignore the I-134 for the approval process	Can1221	Male	Colombia	2014-01-20 15:38:00

Congrats!!  That long wait between NOA-1 and NOA-2 is tough huh?  But it feels great to finally get NOA-2 doesn't it?   We recently got our NOA-2 also, and now waiting on NVC.  Called on Wednesday evening and they hadn't received it yet, but hoping it'll get there soon and no AP.  With a little luck we'll get to spend Thanksgiving together. =) It was a long wait because I wanted to know. I was thinking that I might get a RFE. Thank god I didn't. It defiantly feels good to have the NOA-2. Congrats on your NOA-2. How long should it take to get to the NVC.
