I mailed our I-129F on January 19th, but noticed the check was cashed this week and it had the case number on the back. Still haven't received the NA01 hard copy yet, but according to the USCIS website it is in initial review. Check your online banking statement if you can. I was certainly relieved when I did. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Is it too early to contact my congress	It was heart warming to get the different view point and thanks everyone for your valuable contributions. I will weather it out and see how it goes. I was concerned that since my case hasn't be touched since the initial review/check cash, something might be wrong. Atleast by now I should have seen one or two more touches. Also checkong all february filers, only very few have not been approved. Those still waiting have been touched several times. My thinking was if I set up a Congressional Inquiry, the file might be sorted out and placed in queue again if it is falling out of it based on what I read in this interview: http://www.visajourn...dicator-q-and-a Thanks everyone NSH I definitely would not panic just yet. You seem to be right within the normal timeline for the VSC still. I got my NA01 on Jan. 22nd, and just got the NA02 last week. We had 0 touches until we were approved. Don't worry. I believe they put more stock in the body language than anything else there. Though in our case I am convinced they held our proof just to try to find a reason to deny him...but luckily they did not. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 ....Part 5...children??	I am hoping not to add to the confusion, but I also have a question about this. We are filing for my wife to remove conditions on her residence. She has a son that is 8 who is still living in Vietnam. Her ex husband did not sign the waiver for him to come with her. We pray everyday that he will change his mind and sign the release of her son to come here and live. Should we put her sons name here? Philippines	Filipina wife issues....advice please...	; Exactly, they survived before you came into the picture! Stop sending money, and you are talking about a lot of money. I bet they live their lives as King/Queen. It is not your responsibility to support her family. Her parents wanted to have that many kids and it's THEIR responsibility to support their own family. They can not depend on you, that is not fair because you are making way more than they do. And your wife you married to, should understand that. She didn't marry you because of money or to get her family financial stable. I hope she married you because she truly loves you. And if she doesn't even talk to you after you said that you don't want to send any more money, that shows that she doesn't respect your decision about your future with her and ofcourse, most important, stable future for yalls unborn baby. You'd better invest that money in YOUR future together, as a family. Let they manage their own money problems, they are a family of their own. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Time taken to cash check	We sent our petition out on Saturday April 5th and it was received at Vermont on April 8th at 12.34pm. How long do they take to cash the check as having read most other people's timelines they generally cash it within the following day or too. Obviously we are a little concerned as we want the process to go as quick as possible with Megan being pregnant. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	APRIL '08 Vermont K-1 Filers	hello all! sorry we haven't been on to even update anyone! i'm sure everyone is enjoying their loved ones just as much as we are! we officially got married this past weekend the 25th. small church ceremony with a reception afterwards...close friends and family. turned out to be a very nice day, the morning was awful with the rain. but in the end we are now mr and mrs and thats all that matters to us! everything is going good with the bump also! gained 19lbs so far, not to bad lol... hope everyone is doing just as well! we'll try to keep in touch better! sorry kim and suzy lol love, megan, graham and bump! I'll give my full review once I've talked to Megan and let her know exactly what happened. What I will say though is that the example form for the I-134 on here is slightly wrong. The issue relates to Question 11:- I intend do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3. (If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.) On The example form it say to complete it with the following:- N/A (K1 Visa for permanent residence) That is simply not correct and our visa was almost delayed due to this fact. But after a bit of pleading with the CO, who I won't name, he changed it for me after telling me that it wasn't completely accurate. The box for INTEND has to be checked and then stated that it is as "Financial support with the K1 Visa." Thankfully the CO helped us out and I am now awaiting delivery of my Visa, but just to let everyone know that the form isn't correct.	GrahamandMegan	Male	Scotland	2008-09-04 16:56:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	APRIL '08 Vermont K-1 Filers	hello everyone!!!!! heard from graham at 6 this morning here (only an hour after his interview) we were approved!!!!!! didn't take as long as he expected, but i didn't get to talk to him for long as he was calling from a pay phone. just long enough to hear the amazing news!!!!!!!!!!!! he can give you guys a bit more details when he gets home i'm sure! thanks for all the support! kim, i get woken up between 1-3 every night and around 5 also lol. pregnancy prepares you for those sleepless nights i guess lol but it will be worth it when the baby is here. graham keeps joking that its mommy's job through the night (i dont think so is my reply lol)! can't wait til he's back to be able to actually go to appointments and be here for all the little things until the baby is born!
