I guess when the beneficiary has relatives in the U.S. the Embassy must follow certain guidelines before they make any decision. You know, to think about like this....it's nice to know the Embassy is looking out for the Petitioner and making sure that everything is legit about the person that is coming to the USA. Have a great a day. I can see that...I actually expected something like that when we were put on AP. He has a sister and brother in law in the states, but they never even got a phone call. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	how to wait patiently & positively	The waiting is the hardest part....I kept myself busy with work and friends, and just kept myself sane with phone calls, emails and video chats. For me the hardest part was trying not to think about him when everytime I did something fun, holidays or activities, I kept thinking how I wish we could share those together. But, looking back, it all went so quickly and now he is here. The wait made us stronger and definitely now we appreciate every moment together. Good luck...may you have a fast approval. We went and got our marriage license a week after he arrived, and a week later went to the local JP by ourselves. That was the way we wanted it (much to the chagrin of the entire family!). Afterwards we went to Subway for lunch (got a few strange looks in there...we were a little overdressed ) and spent the rest of the day and night just in our own little world. I've become a tourist in my residential country, going to visit places I've never been to, visit some favourite places, eat stuff that I'll quadruple the amount in the US, and giving away my possessions to some close friends. My I-129f visa petition is currently over the 5 month posted adjudication time as posted on the USCIS web site as my petition was received 7/29/2010 it has been 5 months and 9 days. My case number is XXXXXXXX at the Vermont Service Center. It was touched once 0n October 3, 2010 but I believe this touch was caused by them moving the boxes it was in, as of today 1/7/2011 there has been no action on it. I respectfully request that your office look into this matter as it is past the posted time. There have been other petitions received after mine already adjudicated. July people are getting touches and approvals now, if the 5 month hold thing was true we wouldn’t see any movement until at least December. Terrible isn't it?
