K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	What's going on with VSC??	Well, why don't we let those who are starting the process now forge their own friendships? Why don't we let them lean on each other for support like you did with your friends? Their frustration shouldn't affect you. I just don't understand. ; what others do on VJ is their own business, & what I do is mine. The 3 of us were and some of us are in the same boat. And it's good to hear from someone (who stepped outside the boat) that it'll be alright.... That's me... What other people's interests are, whether it's VJ friendship or whatever, is up to them.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	What's going on with VSC??	u give me english lessons when you cant read? where did she say something about being upset that she's not being approved? she asked why vsc is slow, not about her personal matter. and im sorry your highness, but when someone gets a RFE twice, is definately their fault for not knowing how to handle a petition, and instead of complaining on forums about how miserable their life is, they should look for resources. and as far as it concerns you, you stopped thinking and forgot to start again..awwww ; I don't give English lessons at all. You are saying some are jealous when this isn't the case. So don't even go there . RFE isn't always the petitioner's fault. For exemple, take Monyfer who is waiting for 9+ months. Her RFE was about Passport Photos, and she sent it. VSC LOST IT! It doesn't ALWAYS mean that it's the petitioner's fault, most of the time yes. I agree. How ever, maybe you should read things twice because all of them whom are waiting over normal progressing times have done anything they could (Service Request, Ombudsman, Congressman, Senator). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	What's going on with VSC??	I will never understand why those of us who already have our NOA2 get so upset that others are bothered by the wait. Why is their frustration so offensive? I hated the wait also. I think we all did. You know why?? Not because of the fact I waited over 7 months, it's because of supporting each other. "Monyfer", "Charliz" & "Michele&Bahadir" and I are good friends. We all started this process almost in the same time. We started a friendship here, because we were in the same boat, some of us still are (9+ & 10+ mos). Yes, Michele and I received our NOA2 after 7+ months, but that doesn't mean we forget our friends who are still waiting because of our happiness. Heck NO! That is VJ is all about. Getting your I-129f approved is only one step in this whole process and I am going to SUPPORT my VJ friends till the END, either GC or becoming USC! That's why! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	What's going on with VSC??	My hope is that they are processing their BACKLOGS from OCTOBER (ie - MY CASE!!! We have been waiting almost ten months, so I really hope they are working on my case now and that is causing the delay. I am sorry, but we deserve to be approved before any more March filers. ; I hope to God they work on the BackLogs.. I am an October filer and got approved over 7 months.. Some of my friends are still waiting!! March filers STOP WHINING!!! IF YOU ARE OVER 5 MONTHS, THEN YOU CAN START WHINING AND DO THE NECCESSARY STEPS IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR NOA2 (service request, etc). So, just wait til 5 month mark (normal progressing time) and be for real!! Gosh, people are getting soooo greedy, the more they get, the more they want. Same as looking at CSC... weeeeh people are getting approved so fast and VSC should approve us too.. I'm just saying, wait out your time, and if your NOA2 is coming sooner than 5 month mark, GREAT, but it's not something you know it'll happen. You never know where you are in K1. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	; VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!	Congratulations!! It has been a long journey for you, but well worth it! You can finally close the chapter on this process. Question, why were you denied entry in May 2010? I'm just curious because my fiance was denied a B2 visa in October 2010 and we have our interview scheduled 8/15/11. Just want to be prepared! lol What did the CO ask you? ; I had to take finger prints at the Consulate, and ofcourse they could tell that my entry got denied once because after, I had to go to the Consulate to get a B2 . They asked why my entry got denied and I told him why. Then he got all strict and said: you have one more chance to tell me what happened (after I told him what happened). I told him I couldnt strong prove ties . I was kinda bumped that our interview was only about my denied entry. We got the biggest files they have ever seen!!!! And all they need was I-134- Affidit of support, pay stubs and W2's. That's it! Oh, and he asked where we met. That's all . I got more nervous because this guy was so strict than the actual questions and my English left me, so I was stumbeling with words which made me more nervous. LOL! You should be alright. Getting a B2 denied isn's as bad as being denied at the Port of Entry . As long as you're being honest, things should be good!! Good luck on your journey!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	; VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!	; We had our interview today and after 2 hours of waiting, we were finally interviewed (last person), so we were kinda happy that nobody was sitting in the room hearing what we had to say The CO gave me a little bit of a hard time about the fact that my entry got denied May 2010, though I am glad that Aaron came with me and helped me out to explain things since I was humbeling and stumbeling (my English isn't that well when I'm nervous ) but in the end, the outcome is all that matters.. APPROVED, APPROVED, APPROVED !!! I can't say that often enough . The CO said I should receive my K1 Visa within 7 days (they are a little backlogged ). Then Aaron and the CO chatted about Texas because that's where they both are from Port of Entry will be next Friday Thanks to all of the VJ Members who helped me out during my I-129f journey. I would wait til August 1st (dead line) and if you haven't received your NOA2 by that time, then considder other options. You waited for 9 months now, it's ridiculous, but average after RFE is 1/2 months. You are sooo close for receiving your NOA2!!! Don't give up the past 9 months of waiting just yet. MAKE A NEW INFO PASS & TALk TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW THIS ALL WORKS!!! & don't mention that you contacted Congressman/Senator/Ombudsman until they ask for it.... xoxox If I were you, I would go back and this time bring your camcorder and videotape the encounter. We are so happy&excited.Last week on 9/12/11 i called DOS,they told me to call back Friday 09/16/11. My fiance received a called from the consulate that same Friday. They called asking for his visa, which they had already. Today visa on hand!! ... Congratulations! I love seeing good news out of Casa I hope you and your sweetie are together very soon! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	How many times have you visited your fiance?	I only visited my then fiance, now husband , once and did not have an issue. Morocco is a bit tougher than most, so one thing that I know actually helped us beyond the one visit was that we did wait several months after my visit before applying for the K1 (visit in May 2009, K1 filed Jan 2010). I know they tend to look harshly on couples that have a quick visit then immediately apply for a visa. When my husband went for his K1 it was the I-864, however a few months later I know people who needed the I-134. Can't hurt to have both ready to go...better safe than sorry. We have known each other for 2 years & met online .. It took a year for us to meet in "real life", and since november 2009, I am flying back and forth to spend quality time with my fiance... (He's not able to seeme in the Netherlands that often because of his busy job, he is a directional driller). He also came to the Netherlands last May, and will spend Christmas with me and my family in the Netherlands. I spent the last 2 months in the US, and flew back home last week. 2 days before I left, he proposed me, and since then I am smiling from ear to ear, all day every day.. We downloaded the forms and he is going to fill these in anytime soon. I am going to the City Council to take care of my birth certificate and I also have to take care of my record saying I haven't commited a crime in my life ever. I am a good girl! lol It's pretty annoying to fly back and forth to the US, and it sucks worrying about leaving all the time. We both can't wait to wake up next to each other in the morning and not worrying about leaving again. Most people take that for granted!! Anywhoooo, it's going to be a long process, like most of y'all! Hopefully within 8 months, because we are planning to get married in July 2011!! Our families are so happy and they can't wait!!! I would like to keep in touch with people who are also dealing with the first stage of their K1 procedure, and tell each other what we have archieved along the way.. & also about your insecurities throughout the process & the interview and all that!!! Seriously, I am the most impatient person on this planet, and it's hard living so far away from each other... I'm glad I'm luck to see him every 2 months. And what are 7 months, compared to a life time together? If you wanna keep in touch, please send me a message & hopefully, whenever one of us has their visa approved, we can all be happy for each other!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	When do I tell...	; OMG!! I am sooooo nervous too!! My entry got denied last May 3rd this year!! They asked me whom I'm going to visit, and I told them "a friend", but because of the fact I wasn't honest about telling them I'm visiting my boyfriend, instead of just a friend!!! After showing my passport and answering the question, i had to go to 2nd security check! They surched through my bags and all that, and questioned me for 4 hours!! I missed my connected flight. And because I lied about my relationship with, at that time my boyfriend, they escorted me by two officers (how embarrassing, i felt like a terrorist) on the first plane back to the Netherlands!!! They were mad because I lied about my relationship with my bf. And they thought becuz I lied, I wanted to get married and get a green card.. I was like "#######"!! I really was depressed for weeks, but happily my fiance flew over the very first day I got back home. Last summer, I flew back and stayed for 9 weeks!! I showed them evidence (work contract, my sister was due in septemer, letter from my boss). And I was completely honest why I got deported last year and all that. And after 10 minutes, I was good to go.. I never felt that happy.. I am flying back next month (I visit my fiance 2 weeks every 2 months) and still I am scared like crazy... Because I know they'll give me a hard time. But I am going to give them a copy of my I-129 package, to show them that I dont gonna stay for a longer period of time than my 2 week visit, and that i wont get married during my stay.
