K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	; LOSING HOPE & FAITH	i too am waiting for my nao2..its almost 7 month ...i did a service request last week, my congress man did a request for expedite on may 10th and still im sittitn hear without a na02. im so fustrated and tired. i tired of hearing diffrent bs excuse from the tier 1 at the uscis and im tired of the nasty attitudes of the tier2 ...im am just praying for this nightmare to be over Awww, I am sorry to hear that and unfortunately I have to welcome you into our crappy club . And you are very true about the nasty attitudes of the tier2. They are very arrogant, prolly because they are tired of all the complaining applicants.. oh well . Sometimes you need that kind of support and hear all sweet replies, because it keeps me motivated to keep my head up and have positives thoughts. This is what VJ friends are for.. to help each other and support each other during this process we are ALL in!! I also think about all of you out there who are waiting for any kind of approval!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	; LOSING HOPE & FAITH	; Well, first of all.. I have been there. Aaron and I waited 4.5 months before I got here (almost normal waiting time!) And like you and many others, I waited for months before we decided we wanted to wait it out. I came here with the intention to stay for a 3 week vacation, in the hope we would receive our NOA2 around our 5 month mark... Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I didn't want to leave him behind again. And if I did leave him after these 3 weeks, me and him would be seperated for a longer of time than most couples here in first place!!!!!! Yes, I did quit my job (which sucks, but Aaron means more me to me than anything else). But the waiting is very stressful because it takes a whole lot longer than the normal waiting time.. Every personal handles it differently. I never ever thought I still would've been this stressed, eventhough I am with him! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	; LOSING HOPE & FAITH	Yes I understand your frustration . I called USCIS today and all they did was read me the script. Oh I am so over this script BS. Of course I hung up feeling just as depressed. People who have just started this process it really is hard to stay positive. Its not that we dont love our mates , We know its worth it....we just want to begin our lives. ANd frustration comes in fast and hard when you see others get approved fast even with RFE's. We are coming up on 7 months and Bahadir and i have talked about turkey being our residences. Life is short and i miss bahadir so much. So your frustration and grrrrrr is understood and you are not alone. I know Monica is in our boat! We have a good looking crew though:) Our NOA2 are coming! ; LOL, you are cracking me up Finally a smile on my face!! and yesssss, their scrips are horrible.. it's like listening to a tape, and a robot has spoken it in. Aaron is like; "no"... "nooo"...."noooohooooh!". It gets really annoying although they are just doing their job. But Aaron and I are doing our job being frustrated. I am soooo glad I'm not the only one in this ####*d up situation.. Isn't it possible for you to go and see Bahadir and do yall interview together? You should only move if this all isn't working out.. Keep your head up too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what I'm doing now. I'm in the US with Aaron, and IF IF IF we get our NOA2 and receive our interview date, I fly back to the Netherlands, and Aaron comes a couple of days before the interview and go with me. If one of us, or all of us gets approved after all these months.. I'm gonna open a freakin' expensive bottle of champagne and drink like its the last night of my life. USCIS can't do nothing about that, because it's in Vermonts hands right now. And Vermont says that they need 30 more extra days (in total 60 days after Service Request), than who am I for not respecting their decision?! They have the power to do anything with my case.. BUT, that doesn't take away the fact that I am freakin' bummed about this all.... And I hate the fact that I'm getting more moody towards my fiance, even though he will do anything to make me happy. It's just the stress and insecurity that makes me frustrated and yell at everything that moves in the house. Even a little spider can't walk away quietly before I yell at that little thing about how unfair this all is... If Aaron reads this: I you, and heck no, I will never ever give up!! Aaron and I will call them again tonight, and ask for a written response (Service Request), and E-mail it forward to E-mailaddress you just gave me! I think we are in AP!! Ugh, that was one of my worst nightmares when we started this process. Unfortunately we can't put in an expedite based on the fact that Vermont insist to have 30 more days to work on our case. I have been thinking about you every day in the last two weeks, just hoping you would get your NOA2. Is there any special circumstances in your case that you would think might be holding this up? At this point, all you can do is contact your congressman and continue to ask for assistance. I know you haven't had much luck before, but you have to try. I completely understand why you would be losing faith, but try to remain strong. Maybe you should plan a trip to see Aaron, if you can, to take some of the pressure off of this situation. Seeing him again might bring you some much needed reassurance. Or maybe he can come see you. It's taking much longer than expected, but it will come, and it will be worth the wait. Sometimes people are told to wait 60 days, and they receive their NOA2 in a few days. I really wish you the very best of luck. Maybe today is the day!! You never know. Hang in there. We're here for you. Awww, that's so sweet of you!! You rock!! I just noticed you received your NOA2 yesterday!! Oh wooow, congrats!! I am really happy for you and wish you all the luck with the interview, but ofcourse you will get approved and receive your visa in hand!! Well, we haven't heard from our Senator, and I e-mailed our Ombudsman a little while ago. You said that others also received a 60 day notice gave me a little bit of hope.. And I am with Aaron right now for almost 3 months. And a lot of people might think; oh she's with her fiance in the US, so it must not be hard, because she is with him at the moment after all.. That is so not true!! After 7 months of waiting, it is hard, no matter where you are or who you are, even I'm with my fiance, I'm getting more insecure by the day!! and he is too.. I'm on my B2 visa right now, and if we get denied, we need to chose an other route -if possible. I have no idea why it's taking so long. Aaron and I both have clean police records, he makes above the required poverty level. Though, my access has been denied May, last year because I couldn't prove strong ties with my home country. Never had a problem coming, but in Philadelphia, they gave me a hard time and told me to get a B2 Visa. I past my interview and flew to the US a couple of times after. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	; LOSING HOPE & FAITH	; Aaron and I are waiting for 7 months on our NOA2 at the moment. We called USCIS yesterday because our 30 days Service Request came to an end. And this person we spoke to when we put in the Service Request on April 27th, told us that we have to call back 30 days later if a decision hasn't been made. All month we were nervous, and every time a day has past by without any kind of notice, we were bummed. However, we called yesterday and immediately asked if we could talk to a TIER2 person. We got transferred. The person we talked to, was Indian, hard to hear what she was saying, but we got it figured everything out. She said, that USCIS reveived a response from Vermont stating that Vermont has extended our waiting period to 60 days!! Aaron and I looked at each other and we were like; is she kidding us? We wished she was. She also said that they received this response on May 5th, and I told her that I didn't appreciate the fact that USCIS didn't let us know that Vermont needs more time than 30 days. So, she said that in between now and JULY freakin' 4th, a decision should be made. I asked her, what if we don't hear anything, do we have to call back? She replied, ummm, yeah!! you have to call back, and you might receive a new waiting period. I noticed someone was getting arrogant "you have to wait, til they are ready to make a decision!". Aaron and I hung up, and I was, ofcourse, very frustrated!! My poor baby has to deal with my frustrating behaviour, lol. But seriously, when you are waiting for 7 months, patience is running out. I am in the US with my fiance and we are waiting for our NOA2 still... And he and I go from there!! All we need to do is prepare some papers (his financial stuff, etc). When I first started, I saw people from June getting approved, and some were like waiting 7 and 8 months. I was like WOW How can that happen, and I really thought I had nothing to worry about!! Because Aaron and I both have clean police records He works for the same company for a yeeeaars and makes above the required poverty level We went both to College/University (same? ) I'm not from a high-fraud country at all So, I really thought that we would receive our NOA2 in 5 months... gosh, I was dead wrong I'm just saying, you never know when you will receive your NOA2.. It all depends on Mr. or Ms. Snail over there who are working on our cases.. But if it happens that you are waiting over 5 months, call USCIS put in a Service Request, Email your Ombudsman (Vermont or Cali), Email your Congressman and Senator. It might help And don't lose hope!! There is me and some out there that got approved after soooo long.. Now I have to find out what I have to do next ..... Have a good day everyone!!! It's addictive , and no, ofcourse I wont cancel my petition and file again to feel this feeling again .. This feeling is better than anything!!! & I bet I'll have bruces on my arm this morning, pinching myself and ask myself if this all isn't just a dream.. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY!!! Can you tell me I'm excited still? hehehe.. Now we all need to pray for my good friends that are waiting also that long!! (Charlize, Michele, Monica and my other VJ friends )!!! If you waited over 7 months like me and many others, or headed towards that point, then you should complain! Wait it out, and if you are outside normal progressing time, contact USCIS AND complain.. Stop whining and just wait on your NOA2. "the more they get, the more they want". Just because some peeps got approved sooner than you guys, you want to get approved way sooner too. I understand, but keep in mind the normal progressing time is 5 months, sometimes 6. Why don't we let them lean on each other for support like you did with your friends? Their frustration shouldn't affect you. I just don't understand. ; what others do on VJ is their own business, & what I do is mine. The 3 of us were and some of us are in the same boat. And it's good to hear from someone (who stepped outside the boat) that it'll be alright.... That's me... What other people's interests are, whether it's VJ friendship or whatever, is up to them..
