Asia: East and Pacific	Wife might pop on interview day	It's only 3 weeks away. Interview is Jan 4. Due date is Jan 7-14. I have never been so nervous. LOL. charles and aurora, hello and congratulations. i know your so nervous but what an exciting time for both of you. relyn and i have talked many many times about having a baby but we both agreed to wait until she gets to the u.s.a. the biggest reason is mostly me. i want to be with her the minute we find out were going to have a baby. i want to be there to see the baby grow inside her and go to the appointments. so many things i would miss with her pregnancy. it was actually something we discussed before i even was able to touch her. nevertheless part of me is very envious. your both well on your way to the journey of the rest of your life together. i know you will let us know all the details. god bless you both........pat & relyn Things are going well. Looks like jan 9 is the due date. The doctor is going to give her something right before the interview date that is supposed to delay labor by a few days. Never heard of that before, but there you are. We wish you both the best of luck. Please let us know how the interview goes, as well as when you become a father. What a wonderful time in your life. Asia: East and Pacific	whats the diffrence between a green slip and a blue slip	Here is our experience: At the end of my wifes interview she was given a blue paper asking for specific information. They wanted info in regards to my divorce. The paper stated to bring the required documents along with the blue paper back to the consulate. She did so and after waiting for their review of it, they returned and gave her a green paper. This paper pretty much stated that no further evidence is needed, and that they will contact us after their review, and to not contact them. I have heard that this could take from aa month or so up to a year. I was also told when they give you the green paper that they may return your case to the US, for review. Good Luck!!! Asia: East and Pacific	To those who have had no interview, yet.	The members on the Vietnam side of VisaJourney are a tight knit group of people. There are many, many experienced members that provide invaluable resources to those going through the visa process. I'm very appreciative to have had the opportunity to benefit from the advice of members like chuckandkim, dalegg, patricks, wait4ever, vietnam, etc. that helped my wife and others as we were going through last year. I can't imagine having to go through this process blind and without the resources of VisaJourney and the loyal members who've stuck around long after their experience to lend advice to those new and anxious about the process! STL_HCMC I could not agree more. Every case is different, and every interview is different. Maybe it would be better to say that these post are our own opinions, educated opinions, and some concrete facts. It is up to the individual to evaluate the information given, and use it as they may to help answer any questions or to guide them thru the grueling process. We are all here to help each other. Asia: East and Pacific	Going for a visit after filing I-129F	Yes, definately enjoy the time together. The trip to Thailand is a very good idea, just make sure you don't pay in cash. Pay with a credit card, so you can provide this info at the interview. Also make sure that you have the Engagement Ceremony (Dam Hoi) pictures printed for the interview.
