National Visa Center (Dept of State)	How many times do you "Check Visa Application Status" on the website per day	My wife and I were filers from last January. She NEVER checked. I did 3 times a day almost religiously for the first 4 months and then it just became too stressful. Finally I stopped and BAM.... there was my ail from USCIS. I called her at 12:30AM Moscow time and she was like "ah Jamichik (her Russian nickname for me) it is great, may I sleep?" Lol. Hang in there y'all, great days are coming!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	approvals today 03/24/12	If its not too much to ask. I would love to know where you guys are getting this info from. All I have is the hope that it will happen in the next few weeks. You can (sometimes) look at Igor's list and some of the recent NOA2 post here on VJ and see the recent approval times for those happy folks from any certain processing center, BUT hoping for a time less then 5-6 months is just that.... hoping. It is one of those issues where you hope for the best... but prepare for the worst. Sveta and I have already agreed that if it takes 2 more weeks or 2 years, we will continue to hold one. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	approvals today 03/24/12	Yes. Looks like VSC is picking up again. It will be interesting to see how fast the approvals start coming in now. And Jamie, our NOA1 dates are relatively close. I really think most January petitions will be approved by end of May latest. And if we're lucky, and VSC really gets going I think some could make it through in April too. January is one of the months with the least K1s petitions submitted, so it may work to our advantage.
