US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionChange of adress....PLS HELP!!!!
hello VJ members!!, thought id ask about this, im kinda confused right now on what we have to do. In our 129F petition, the address of where i would be staying is in their house in Jersey, bec hes living in a base in CA that time. but now he got his own place and its outside the base now. My question is, how are we suppose to change the former address to the current one. and where is he suppose to call or send a letter to change it. is it with USCIS, NVC or the Embassy? pls take note that the packet is already sent out by the NVC to the Embassy. plus, he wanted to make sure that i could have LAX as POE instead of JFK incase i pass in the interview. what are we suppose to do!! help!! Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionPolice clearance from japan embassy manila
Thought id share this to all who would be needing police clearance for Jap Embassy in manila, I suggest if u have the chance to request it earlier then do it. based on my experience, I just recieved the letter from the USEM the other day, and was suppose to be happy about it as it states that i could make an appointment already for an interview but got disappointed aswell bec i have requested for a police clearance the other day and they told me that it takes 1 1/2 or worst 2-3 mos to be released. crying.gif It Sucks!! but cant do anything but wait. dont get me wrong i could ask for an interview appointment already but what iam trying to point out here is that to avoid the hassle of being asked to go back on another appointment might aswell show up there with complete documents required.

Oh btw, as soon as u get the Hard copy of NOA2 and case number from NVC (MNLXXXXX..), go to USEM at once and ask for a letter to show the JAP Embassy that u are asked to get a Police clearance from them. Hope this helps. Speedy approval for all.. God bless

No need worry! The panel physicians at St. Lukes will determine which vaccines you and your anak will have.
LOTS of people don't have records naman!
Hint!~ Take the medical at least 2 weeks before your interview. Best time to go is after 12:00 noon. Tuesday-Thursday!

Thank you so much for your reply!!! i feel relieved now... smile.gif youre an angel.. salamat ng marami. God bless

QUOTE (PrettyFlower @ Feb 8 2009, 01:01 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
hi. check this out... http://www.visajourn...p;#entry2539003

and to be more specific, the initial interview will have you stand infront of a filipino officer. pre-interview they say. its just a window, much like when you talk to a bank teller or employee. this can be seen by anyone. cos you just come upfront a window.
with the actual consul officer, you go inside a small room.
and this is just you and the consul officer. youre provided a seat, and you are separated by a window from the consul officer.
my pre-interview took about less than 10 minutes and so did the actual interview.
its the waiting that takes long.
on a round off... i got through the gates at 6am. they started calling priority numbers at 7am.
by 9:30am i was out with the pink slip.

hope this helps. good luck!

thank you so much.. your reply is indeed a big help for me and my daughter. God bless you

I was just wondering.. for those who had their interviews before at USEM? How was it like to be interviewed there? I mean, were u inside a room? sit down on a chair and talk to the consul officer. or youll be interviewed standing infront of them?.. and how long does an interview usually takes? 20 mins? 30? just thought id ask, I wanted to give an idea to my daughter aswell on how it is inside the embassy,as she was asked to go with me on our interview. Thank you so much, i hope you could share ur experience. God speed

US Embassy and Consulate Discussiongetting visa after police clearance is turned in
QUOTE (kevinandlecy @ May 5 2009, 07:57 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
hello i am wondering how long it will take for my fiancee to recieve her visa after she turns in her police clearance from brunei. She is from and in the philippines right now, we have waited 7 weeks and will recieve the clearance on friday the 8th. We will turn it in to the US embassy on monday the 11th. i know that the us embassy verifies the clearance, but i would just like to have an idea before the clearance is Mailed and is Received ok. Oh and yes she already had the k1 inteveiw and she was told that she passed except she needs the clearance turned in, and they only accept them monday thru thursdays not on fridays.

That would all depends on how fast the CO would check on her papers again. It will be under review, and im sure they will verify the submitted PC. Some have gotten their visas after 3 days and some after a month or 2 and for some few mos. after submitting it. In my case, i submitted the additional doc (PC also) the same day of my interview(MAR 19). its just that i gave mine by 1pm bec i have to get that from japan embassy first. Anywho, i got my visa after almost a month, Be more patient. it wont be too long for now. Take care and God bless.

hey there! actually i experienced receiving that paper aswell during my interview? it only means that, they just want you to submit additional document, give them what they asked for and youre good to go. in my case it took almost a month before i got my visa. Just be patient. Lets hope that the review will be over soon. take care and God bless.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a little confused. I received a blue note (221g) with this MNL-IV-22 form after my interview last April 27, 2009. The form indicates that I need to submit a notarized completed form of Part C of I-129F from my fiance. I have to resend the page to him and have it notarized in the US. My fiance forgot to place 'None' in one of the questions. We are put on hold because of it. Below the form on the 'What to do Next' portion, the third portion is checked: "Submission of Required Documents: When you have all the documents required above, submit them at Window 17-20 or submit through private courier." We have submitted the lacking document already last Monday and we did not hear anything from the Embassy yet. Is this something that I should be worried? I do not know the result of my interview if we were approved or not and if I need to go back to the embassy again. The CO officer just told me to submit the lacking document.

Has someone experienced this? I appreciate if you can share your experience with this matter.

TIP: We realized a slightest incomplete document can cause delays. So please fill out the forms accurately. Make sure 'N/A' or 'None' are placed for those not applicable.

Whether you can I do not know... but you should considering the length of time it could take

Police Certificates

Applicants Outside of Japan: Former legal residents, former illegal aliens, and Japanese citizens, should apply at the nearest Japanese Consulate. Processing time: Two to three months.

thats exactly the reason y i am so stressed out right now. anyways, ill try to visit japan embassy over here this wk and give it a try if they would allow me to even without the letter from USEM yet. Anywho, thank you for that advice. it means alot to me when someone shares what they know. Again, thank you and God bless

her pics are no bigdeal. they are just in the computer and if i was afraid she would find it out, I would have deleted it so she wont know about it but that is not my intention at all. I just didn't have the courage to tell her before.

Yes, we talked but we are not done yet. She was crying and I certainly feel awful about it. She keep saying she does not want to ask me what not to do but to just do the right thing for our relationship otherwise she is going home. I dont want to go home. I am thinking about this all day and deciding weather to completely cut my communication with that woman and keep her. I want her in my life she knows that. It's just a long process for me to let that girl forget about me.

I agree. I understand that u feel the guilt and all of hurting her. But no offense, if you really love her that much (fiancee) How come u went out to see another girl behind her back? Iam not judging u or whatsoever.. Iam just surprised that it gotten that far that the girl u are seing had somewhat a control over you.. My question is?

1. Is this what a packet 3 is? or considered to be the packet 3? or it is just a notice?
2. whats the next step for me?

im abit confused, i was thinking of a packet with checklist and documents to send back to them. but i just got a piece of paper letter. pls enlighten me. thank you so much in advance for ur advices.

Call the toll free number and get an interview appointment from them, after that they will send you an appointment letter through email for your medical and interview just print it out , for the forms open the link that includes at the letter...
Much better if your Fiance is the one to call the embassy, its hard from the Phil to get through on that toll free number, i tried that before and it takes forever.....

Thanks for all the advices.God bless you all.
