when we were still preparing for our I129F, i found a blog where the couple did the same.. they wrote a brief story about their relationship then on the last paragraph they put a statement that they intend to marry within 90 days upon arrival in the US.but it depends on you too if you want to separate the statement of how you met and the letter of intent. :)

Yes, it just depends on what you want to put. Technically the adjudicator of your case is at either the CSC or VSC so that is who they would be addressed to, and used to be that way when the petitions used to get mailed directly to the CSC or VSC, BUT it doesn't really matter so you can choose which address you like or put none at all. Not a big deal and will not make or break anyone's case.


yes, before, petitions are mailed directly to csc or vsc. now, it's just up to OP what she would prefer to do.

Would not matter if they used the CSC or VSC address either. Like I said, there is not a requirement for an address on the letters of intent or the cover letter either. The example forms show the addresses as a formality for the formatting of a letter.


yes.it is for formality and to whom you are addressing the letter. I should say this would just depend to OP whether she will put any address on the letters or not.. :)

yes, once u receive ur NOA1, that's when u will know where they forwarded ur case, i would say mail ur packet through expressmail (Lewisville) to be safe and u can track the delivery of ur packet too. it will just cost a bit but makes u worry free knowing that ur packet is in good hands. ask for a delivery receipt too. ours arrived at Lewisville in just one day. :) so yes u can put Lewisville instead of csc or vsc :)

ur filling location depends on whether u want to send ur packet through expressmail or not. :) Lewisville (expressmail) or Dallas (if USPS)

ur service center might be CSC. but USCIS will notify you where they sent ur packet..

hi. we sent our package to Lewisville because we used an express mail through UPS. but if you choose the USPS then u may send it to Dallas,Tx but if you will use USPS expressmail or other courier like Fedex or UPS (which only took a day for the USCIS to receive our package) then u may send ur packet to Lewisville.

maybe you are referring to service center instead of filling location? ur packet might be send to CSC.. but again when sending the I129F packet there are two address where u can send it. either in Lewisville or Dallas.. depends if expressmail or not..

2. once USCIS receives your packet, they will send it to which service center it should be. they will also include it in your NOA1 (telling you which service center they forwarded your packet)

i think yes u can if u have the MNL# already. but u have to really make sure u will get the NBI before ur interview date.. 

 

i assume that u already know that it would only take 1 day if the name is not a "hit"

 

but 1 week if the name is a "hit"

 

but you should also know that sometimes we never know if nbi is having some system upgrade or whatever that it might take 1 month to get the nbi. 

 

in some places, it takes up to 1 month to get the NBI. so u have to be sure.. 

 

i see in your timeline that your I129F is already approve, so I suggest get the NBI as soon as your fiance(e) can.. 

 

pay thru Globe gcash.. apply online..book an appointment then go to the place where your fiance(e) booked the appointment. fall in line for fingerprinting and picture taking.

while preparing for our I129F before, i searched about the affidavits since i found out that some applicants mailed in some affidavits along with their I129f, there i found out that, affidavits are being used too esp when in the process of obtaining a visa.. but again, we did not have ours notarized. and the others also didn't have theirs notarized.so i guess it just really depends sis if u want to have it notarized so that it would look more official/formal.. maybe u can pick 1 from ur friends and 1 from ur fiance's friends affidavits to be notarized.but again, this is not really part of the requirements as far as i know during the interview but if u just want to include it, then i think it's just fine..

My girlfriend is a widowed Filipino. Her current Passport is in her maiden name. Can she use the maiden name instead of her married name when completing a fiancee visa application? The current system will require her to attend a class and pay a fee before she can change her current passport to her married name. Plus is is burdensome since it is on another island in the Philippines.


Is the class you are referring to is the CFO? If so wether she changes her maiden name or not on her passport she will still be required to attend that class/seminar and pay the fee before she leaves Philippines.. All people that leaves PI has to go through a seminar regardless of where in PI you live..

Do you want to put them on word...to print them? What i did was I printed them out at walmart, and just taped them down on a white piece of paper. Next to each photo I wrote the date, and a short explanation of what was going on in the photo..for example: Jan 2013: Hanging out with friends, at the movies, etc.

Hello! I used facebook pictures as proof of our relationship! I had all of our pictures printed when i noticed my pictures werent date stamped, so what i did is i went through all of my pictures on facebook of us together and took screenshots, because it would show the date from years ago lile 2010, i saved them on my usb then i went to walmart to print them.i always go to see my fiance in july and december, so in the summer i would upload my pictures as soon as i would get back from my trip, even though the day i uploaded them on facebook was in august, i still put in the description the picture was taken in july.

Actually the RFE has me scratching my head a little. I sent with my petition my own statement, photocopies of my boarding passes from two trips, and photocopy of my passport with stamp from 3 trips. Along with about a 6 photographs with us together. So I am wondering what else they would like have.....

Sorry! :/ But since they asked an example of an affidavit, i thought it could be letters from people stating they know both the persons and about the relationship. All of my latters stated we had met. I guess the "affidavit" part is confusing, i always thought it was statements!

I wouldnt know what is acceptable but to prove our relationship i sent pictures of us together, facebook messages between us. I also had a letter written from my dad, stating i traveled with him to mexico and that he knows about our relationship. and two friends who have known us since we were both kids stating that they have known of our relationship since the beggining, and that we have been together ever since and that they know of our plans to marry. The woman who helped me prepare this called the letter "affidavits"

hello all!!

I was worried about that too...proof of ongoing relationship. It is not possible for me to make a trip from now until we get approved, so the only way we communicate is through phone calls, facebook messages, and text messages. We dont write to each other through mail because where he lives it would take days, i dont know maybe even weeks for him to receive a letter. I use a calling card sometimes and theres no way to prove those calls ive made, so the times i have called him directly i take a screen shot from my phone (iphone) and it shows the date, time and how long the call was. I put in my phonebook the number for the calling card that i always use, and take screen shots of those calls. I made sure to keep one of the cards just in case. I also take screen shots from a few messages between us two, just in case I need proof that there is still an ongoing relationship.

The quality was good. I went to a place where they help you file all different kinds of apps for immigration. I think they just scanned it and resized it. I had gone to two different CVS to see if they could resize for passport size, and they told me I couldnt do that, that the person who needed the passport pictures had to take them in the store! I tried resizing them on my own at Walmart, and that didn't work out.

Aw man this stinks because I just recieved the pics my fiancé in Mexico sent me and this is our situation with the pic's size.
I was already planning on sending the I-129F in this week.

The size pics they gave him was after he told them he needed "passport pics".

I had the same situation!! When we went to get his passport pictures in Mexico the girl there asked us what size we wanted them, passport or "infantil" size( i dont know what that is used for) and I told her passport size, and she told me they don't do those there -_- so his pictures were tiny!!! But the place I went to get help filing my paperwork were able to scan and print them to the correct size! Im sure you can resize them somewhere :))

You should print out the USCIS required immunizations for her age group, then take it to a doctor who can send you for a 'Titer' test to check for these immunizations. 

 

In Canada the test takes about a week to get the results.  I don't know about your country. 

 

My daughter, who has had all of her immunizations from Canada, was missing two immunizations that the US government wanted.   That's why you should take the USCIS list with you to the doctor.
