I have to agree that in the aforementioned UK thread, it may have been a tad early for your...er...practical back-in-the-saddle suggestion. It's like a female wolf pack. Well...I can see that. I know you've butted heads with those ladies, and they're my friends. I can't control when and what other people decide to post. It's possible that I tend to post in threads that are particularly noteworthy and perhaps edging on hysteria, and others are also more likely to post in those, but certainly not because of me. It sounds like you have the superior housekeeping skills. Nothing to be ashamed of! I come from a long line of ladies who take a casual approach to housekeeping. This includes my great-grandmother, born in Kiev in the 1890s. My mother remembered her reading the Yiddish newspaper (in Boston by this time), surrounded by piles of clutter. Probably newspapers. Mrs. T-B. thought that it smelled like rancid humidity; I thought that it was either that or cat-shat. Mrs. T-B. determined that the stench arose from the cloth towels that she uses to mop the floor (with use of the infamous rag-on-a-stick) that she then dumps on the laundry-room floor. She put the culprit towels in the washing machine. She either forgot to use soap at all or she used the cheap liquid stuff with no scent, because now the washing machine smells like the towels did. She forgot to use a fabric-softener sheet in the dryer, because now the dryer smells like the towels did. However, she somehow did remember to clean the lint-trap (!!!?!), which almost caused me to spontaneously file for her USCitizenship, si man. Vinegar should help. Muchas felicidades a todos los k les han aprovado la visa, y los demas a seguir luchando y llenarse de paciencia. Mexico, Latin & South America	COLOMBIANOS EN VISA K1(CONTINUACION)	QUOTE (jh816 @ May 15 2009, 12:18 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hola a Todos Les contare mi experiencia en el DAS, no se si soy una nionia a veces , pero no tenia ni idea que debia llevar una carta para solicitar el movimiento migratorio, crei que era solo la consignacion y copia de la cedula al 150%, para los que no saben como yo, jajaja fuera de la consignacion y copia de la cedula al 150% deben llevar una carta donde hacen la solicitud del movimiento con todos sus datos al final (Direccion, telefono), copia de esa carta y copia de la consignacion, eso es todo por lo menos aqui en Medellin y llenan luego alla unos datos en el computador y listo, firmas esa hoja, te dan la copia de la carta que llevaste con la fecha de solicitud y listo, no se si fue porque opte por reclamar el movimiento en Bogota. En cuanto al certificado del DAS, me toco volver al otro dia, o sea hoy a reclamarlo, por ser para la embajada, es exactamente igual al de trabajo lo unico diferente que veo es otro rayon (no parece una firma) y ya, y la otra sorpresa que me dio el funcionario es que solo tiene vigencia de UN MES por ser para la embajada, asi que quienes lo vayan a sacar con mucho tiempo pregunten bien, se supone que la informacion es igual para todos, pero en ese desorden que ellos tienen uno nunca sabe. Lo unico que no nos cuadra son los precios de los tiquetes, ellos me pidieron el favor de comprarlos aqui y ellos me pagan porque hacer la compra desde Colombia salia mas caro. Igual ya hicimos la reservacion porque entre mas esperemos mas caros se van a poner con lo de la progresiva alza de la gasolina. Pero es ridiculo, los tiquetes por si solos cuestan 259 dolares por ambos y 600 y piko solo en impuestos y tarifas. Pero bueno gracias a Dios tienen la oportunidad de venir a pasear. Se me olvido decir ayer que mi mama tenia una carta de invitacion que le hicieron de un museo en Chicago, pues ella va a donar unos items "unicos en su clase" (esa es la opinon del curador de ese museo). Hola niñas, encontre a una colombiana k tiene un canal en youtube super bueno con recetas, y truquitos muy sencillos, tmbn tiene pag en face la pueden buscar como gina morano o pink tomato. es super bueno se los recomiendo, me llamo la atencion k tiene una formula para depilar k se hace con azucar y limon, y ahora saco este nuevo video k es super llamativo de este cupcake, espero les guste, la verdad yo de reposteria cero no se hacer nada de eso pero veo k aca hay mas de una k si.
