K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	K-1 Filed in January - Awaiting CDJ appointment	Hey all, I saw a thread for K3 filers in January and maybe there is one for K1, I'm not sure but I wanted to start a post to get some responses from more experienced VJ's. I have received my NOA #2 from the NVC in NH and am awaiting CDJ to get the case number into the system there in Juarez. They have had the packet nearly a month and it is still not in the system. I have called the 900 line and found a variety of different answers to the question how long should I wait to call to check in the see if the packet is moving. Does anyone know what determines the wait time once the packet has entered the consulate? I see the average is 54 days. If anyone can shed some light on anything regarding the CDJ I wopuld appreciate it. I have read the thread and posts regarding what happens once you have your appointment letter but what determines the great differences in wait times? Hi everyone, Congrats to on the NOA2's and everyone who is still waiting for theirs how long has it been from your NOA1 to present. With my experience it seems that it was 6 months on the dot before I was touched. It was only one day after the first touch that we had the approval and from my understanding this is normal how it goes for everyone unless they give you a REF. Just hang in there and I am still praying for all of you to get your NOA2's very quickly. Last night I come to open my email and I seen a very surprising letter from USCIS-CRIS@dhs.gov. Now mind you I am a pretty good size boy and I do not fear too many things in life LoL. But my jaw hit the floor, I think I did something in my pants, and I was fumbling for my mouse but I could not click fast enough. I finally open the letter and I see APPROVED. I sat there in complete shock LoL. Hi everyone : ) After 5 months of looking at these boards I have finally found my group of July filers ; ) I just wanted to say hi to everyone and to encourage you all still waiting and congrats to all who have been approved. I think this will be a very special Christmas for all of us and everyone shall become approved on Christmas eve : ) What a great Christmas present wouldn't you agree? Thus far Olga and myself have not been approved but one good thing they have not sent us a letter saying they lost our paperwork so this is a good thing hahahaha Our approval letter should come Dec 16 to Dec 21 I want to say that because we have such a diverse board with many nationality's and faiths, I hope that our God's look favorable upon us and help us to have the family's and partners that we all are deserving of very quickly. This is stressful on all of us and it should not be this way, but it is. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	How will i know if i got approved?	hi to all! i just went to my interview today and i can say it all went fine. I just want to make sure if i passed the interview or not? Since the consulate didn't tell me anything other than "Thank you for coming" . The interview was fast and just lasted like 7 to 10mins. There is no additional requirement he ask of me and rather he joked around and said "So you are the one responsible for this heavy stuff" (because i bring a lot of stuff during the interview) and he just told me to wait for my visa. I paid the visa courier fee and i got a pink slip. The last counter who i went through said to wait for my visa and have my CFO seminar once i get my visa. Does it mean I got an approval? or what? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2009 K-1 Visa filers	we're one of the october 2009 filer...right now i'm in the process of waiting my visa. i got a pink slip after i got interviewed and everyone told me here in VJ that's its one of the strong proof that i got the approval. I asked to pay the visa issuance fee and the lady in Window 33 told me to wait for my visa and as soon as i get it i need to go to CFO seminar before departure. Oh the consul who held the interview didn't asked me for more additional documents, the interview went fast and fine. I am hoping to get the visa next week. I'm praying. My fiance is going through some changes with work and may be going back to an old job but they have said it may be a temporary possition, he also plans to go to school in march and would only have a part time job, so what we are thinking is that we should get a co-sponsor even if its "just in case" kinda thing, i mean if it ends up not being temp then it doesn't hurt to have that co sponsor on there anyway to give us flexibility right? any advice? also, the co sponsor that has agreed to do this is my fiances ex wife, would that be a problem or do they care who it is that sponsors? and how does it all work, they dont have to agree to support my fiance if he has no job right its really just me, so would it be for the afidavit of support that each one would do they would do themselves plus me? i guess i just really need a walkthrough on how this would work for me and all	cherylc522	Female	Canada	2008-09-30 15:54:00
