im scared to go to bucharest T___T i dont know the places and i have to be there before 9:30 in the morning if i want the results on the same day. my plane lands around 7am and from airport to center would be about 30-40 minutes with the buss and after that i have to find the street and med center T_T im so damn stressed

Wow, it might be worth getting a taxi when you're close and if you get too tight on time, just a thought. Luckily its just the medical, maybe it'll be a good idea to find out where the consulate is afterward. Good luck!

Hey Looky... this is fantastic news!!
So happy for you  (F)

BTW... September is sooooooooon !!

Thanks Andie, I knew it was going to get there just didn't expect it so soon! The next step is the important one. The consulate should have it by the end of the week. I have already had her collect the documents she will need for the interview, and I am filling out the forms for her. Now just waiting for the consulate to send us the instructions so we can reply and get the interview date and do the medical.

The interview itself should be a breeze and then when she gets the Visa I'll go over there and help her and the dog fly to the US!!!

Oh but what about you, it seems you are in limbo? We still have 30 or so March filers on Igors list but it seems many of them have either given up or just didn't update. I really expected you to be among us that have NOA2 already. Its very unfortunate that it didn't happen that way. :( (F)

Thanks Dante & Geor, yes I think Cyprus embassy is not busy at all. Only thing I've heard that the CO is on vacation till September but thats fine. We have to wait till mid September anyway so we can be sure it will be cool enough for the dog to fly in the airplane cargo hold.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsMarch 2011 Filers..

A lot of the March filers left on Igor's list haven't logged on since Feb or March, some May, some June, so I wasn't including them when I said it looked like there was only 6-7 left, I was only including those that are still logging into VJ. It's possible they never will log back in, it's possible they have abandoned their petition, or they have already been approved and we will never know. Just click on them and see their last log on, and message them too, some people aren't very adept at this, and won't know even that there's a March filers group following them!

By the way, NVC got my file on the 8th, not the 9th, they sent it out on the 9th! We just found out today, so I need to figure out how to track it to the consulate. I tried it already once and didn't figure it out, so any help to find my DHL number would be appreciated!

Yes I guess you are right Thea. Well good for March filers then!!

Oh I just decided to call NVC today for the heck of it. I just got approved on the 3rd. I had to wait all of 10 minutes, and the lady came on and completely frazzled me. She asked all our info and then 'what can I do for you' Told me our case had been sent to the embassy on the 11th. I was so stunned that I forgot to ask for our NVC case number!!! I called again and in barely 5 minutes I got somebody and my case number. I guess its my lucky day!

I found a brazilian here that haven't got the noa2 yet, or didn't update the timeline.. noa1 march 25th...

Yeah there's like 34 March filers on Igor's list that didn't get it or didn't update. We were at 60 some, just a month or so ago. I have to beleive a lot of those haven't got NOA2 yet cause there are always those that get stuck in the name check process, and for those it can take another 2 months or so.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsMarch 2011 Filers..

For real, but if it was their mistake they could send it for free, not charging, idk.. they gotta talk to USCIS, even scan this letter from NVC to them.. damn, all this headache, all this time and they were approved! awesome!!!

I hope the same happens to Nema!

Yes hope Nema gets hers soon. Oh trying to get USCIS to admit a mistake takes a circus act. The operators there don't know what NVC is. USCIS never mentions NVC. Now if Jan's fiance has to contact a congressman USCIS will bow down and do what it takes.

yup, but my fiance is now calling USCIS to send us NOA2 because our friends here said we need it for the medical, interview and AOS... Thanks Thea.:)

and Congrats Zara for the VISA :)

Yes thats amazing Jan, but it kind of freaky that they didn't get you the NOA2 letter. I would post this in the main forum, I've heard its not easy and expensive to get them to send a second NOA2 letter. So you need to make them realize they screwed up and need to send you that NOA2.

I mean if you got a case # you were probably approved at least a month+ ago which means they wasted a month where you could have been trying to get all the documents and paperwork done.

Good Luck!

Here is another question! i live more than 4 places since i was 16 years of age, does that means i will have to get police clearance from those places or i should go to the police headquarter to do so?

thanks everyone in advance!

So middle of last week I got an email saying we were being sent an RFE :-( So I just figured we'd wait til it showed up and then send in whatever we needed to, but I just got back from work tonight and I have another email from USCIS telling me that they approved our application :-s Well confused now. Whatever. Yay :-)

CONGRATS Looky!

I passed my interview at Frankfurt embassy today. I was so nervous... But! everybody was very friendly. The whole procedure took about 1,5 hours. The lady at the interview was friendly, but very accurate. Then she said, "everything looks fine, you should receive your passport with the visa in about 10-14 days". Such a relief! We are very happy!

Thanks so much Zara! Wow a big congratulations to you!!! You and your cats enjoy your new home in America!!!

I wonder what happen to us March filers who haven't gotten NOA2 yet now that VSC already approving April petitions? Are we going to stuck here waiting? :( This is not good at all....This process sucks!...

Thanks so much Jan!!!

Don't really know Jan, it seems two of the biggest factors are luck and luck. The second part of luck is that if the petitioners name isn't so common that it shows up as possible match in the database and then it takes a bit longer to verify cause at some level they have to check physical records.

I think thats why the youngest applicants seem to get approved the quickest cause they haven't had a chance to have much history.

Good luck Jan hopefully yours is just around the corner! (F)

P.S. Agreed, the process sucks!

Wow Looky.. hadn't seen this - so exciting!! It's a real leap ahead !!
I guess we wont know when it is, but very best of luck and wishes - be sure to let us know - you of all people deserve success

He is still to-ing and fro-ing with phone messages with the Field office. He calls and only gets answerphone message - they call back when he's working and can't take calls. He has left messages for them to give him a detailed message asking what it is they need - but nothing so far. He is talking about getting an Immigration Lawyer he has spoken to involved, but it shouldn't need that at this point. I don't know if they are able to approve from there, but it sounded as though that was where it was heading. I've wasted so much of my life - been unemployed thinking it wasn't going to take this long and work not so easy to get anyway. Unable to commit to any length of time... so essentially just waiting. Just about had enough.

Anyway, I know how things are with you and Loreta and some of what you've been through, and you know it is meant to be. Travel safe Looky - I'm looking forward to some happy news (F)

Hi Andie, my internet access was down for a week. Oh I hope Kevin can get hold of the field office and take care of this thing, I guess he can't talk on a cell phone at work also or maybe schedule another infopass appointment?

Yes its very exciting that we've got a interview date again, but it won't be till next year! ;) I'm going to be there for 2 weeks, which includes the interview date. I really think all the craziness is over and probably don't need to keep the date secret, but still, I will, just because....

I hope there's good news for you coming soon Andie. (F)

Andie & Lookie--

Hang on, keep the faith, stay strong. The prayers promised are still continuing. Due to current circumstances I am only able to log on to VJ infrequently--for the time being, at leat. i just wanted you to know that you--and your loved ones--have been and are being remembered and prayer and in thought, and I am still rooting for you all. Take care, my friend. --RK

Hey RK thanks for the continuing prayers and support, hope you and yours are doing well. Well things are slowly looking up, I'm hoping that maybe I will be able to request another interview from the embassy after next weekend. I feel there's one good thing that has changed, the visa chief that was handling k-1 visas has moved onto something else there. As you know I sort of blame her for leaking or giving Loreta's new address to whoever it was (probably the head of police) who basically accused Loreta of being some sort of criminal. As you know, the embassies investigation showed nothing. I doubt if the visa chiefs moving to some other position had something to do with this but at least we will be dealing with somebody else now. Take Care, RK.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsMarch 2011 Filers..

Don't I know it... I can tell you that there was nothing missing from our second petition last March... it was perfect, and the mix up with 2011 wasn't anticipated. We're in the same boat as you and Loreta in the sense that we know this is meant to be and that we should be together.. what a cruel system. Happy to hear that Loreta is continuing to improve. I know these things can be slow and in fact she is doing exceptionally well by all accounts.

For us, I have days when I wonder if love will defy adversity.. but it has to, as with you and Loreta. Its what we both want and though the days seem so long sometimes we have to keep up the fight... looking forward to more good news - it sounds like her progress is going so well. (F)

Yes Andie love has to defy adversity, cause we are loyal people that just cannot give up on the ones that our hearts are set on. But the fact is that all relationships only survive for the longterm when they can deal with the problems, heartaches and other issues. The difference for our relationships are that we are strengthening them upfront, even before we are together with the ones we love. (F)

Well I don't really have good news to report this time. The weather had been doing the summer to fall transition dance and gave Loreta a virus or something. The hypnotherapy doctor agreed that it would not be a good idea to have the session yesterday and rescheduled for Wednesday. So far today Loreta says she feels better, and she sounded better. So we just take it one step at a time.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsMarch 2011 Filers..

Well the latest is that the local office has put the paperwork back in order (again). It seems that every time someone looks at our file they get confused with the 2011 and the 2012 petition and don't know which bits go with which. They have said that if we didn't call to make sure everything was ok, that they wouldn't have looked at the 2011 and that the 2012 would have been worked on without confusion.

However, we didn't ever get an NOA1 for the 2012 so no case number - we didn't know whether they had everything or not. The local office is now forwarding details to VSC (I think) to explain it, so they can go ahead and work on our 2012 petition. I have no idea how long this will take. Next step we will get a case number and we can request an expedite then - that doesn't mean we will get one, but so many people have looked at it, surely something has to happen soon

Oh Andie, so sorry that all this mess has turned your case into a tangled spiderweb. They've built USCIS like an assembly line with the adjucators given specific steps, and if the steps get out of sequence they don't know how to handle it. So it sounds like your case was too outside of bounds for them to be able to handle. But hopefully the local office has finally straightened out the mess and your case finally starts moving towards the finish line. (F)

As for us, we're doing fine. Loreta is one step closer to her memory recovery. She remembers how and where we met but not everything we've done. I think it'll all come back to her in her next session on Friday.

Also meant to say Looky, Hope things are improving with Loreta. She must be a very special lady and I'm looking forward to hearing some positive news before too long for you both. (F)

Hi Andie, things look real good as of today. Loreta went to see that hypnotist and she felt like she was dreaming about her childhood. She remembered her grade school and school friends and old memories like that. There was nothing recent that she remembered about Cyprus except she did remember places she had worked there. When the Dr. brought her out she felt a little dizzy. Also after I asked her about whether she rembembered certain things she felt a little dizzy. I guess her mind finally remembering things that she couldn't before is a bit of a daunting excercise.

Anyway there's no doubt that she will recover from her memory loss but, we're going to take it slow. Her next session is next Friday.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsMarch 2011 Filers..

Well Looky, I know what you mean  ... that clock just keeps moving.

Anyway, we had our Infopass meeting - He went along with all our paperwork. Went through the whole story from March 2011 to the present. She looked in the system and found everything was exactly as we had thought... that everything had been put together, looked like they had everything they needed and it seems that the person that worked on our file then gave it to the supervisor who had been asked to expedite it. (The supervisor told us we could expect to hear something in 5-7 days - that was about 6 weeks ago). It turns out NOTHING HAS HAPPENED !!

So the woman at the local office was going to call them and find out what's going on. She also spoke to her supervisor who then became involved and said it was probably that the person who now had it, decided it was too difficult to do in a few minutes so put it aside. (what AGAIN??) Anyway, they were very sympathetic and wanted to help resolve it quickly by following up and to come back to us in a day or two (about now).

Well, it looks like any chance of getting there by the end of the year is not going to happen :( - our embassy process is very quick, and its probably still possible - but each day that goes by I'm just losing hope.

I'll let you know of any updates (don't hold your breath :reading: )

Oh how crazy can the process get! At least you have some sympathetic ears on the other side now Andie and hopefully they'll break through the log jam! There's no telling when though, you're right. (F)

Yes Loreta is quite a special woman to me. She's going thru hard times right now but I understand what she's going thru cause I once had very hard times for a while myself. I guess we just understand each other, even now when she doesn't quite remember. Her first real session is coming up tomorrow with that doctor and so tomorrow I'll find out if its going to work. I'm pretty sure it will but probably he'll start on her early years tomorrow. It'll give us something to talk about cause right now she barely only remembers a few things from her past.

Thanks RK, yes maybe I'll have to make a book out of this and get someone to make a movie for us someday! We're going to make this work somehow even if it takes another year or so. We've got 10 years invested in each other and neither of us are growing any younger. :P

Gosh Looky, if it wasn't so harebrained it would appear your love story is too strange to be true, but it's just TOO far fetched not to be! You will have to write down all the details into a story, I can see it being a best seller one day! I hope she gets her memory back soon!

Well you are quite right there Thea, thanks! Harebrained as it is, in a way its made my life quite exciting and probably thats why I have to stick with her. I got involved with her knowing she had some health problems. The Chernobyl nuclear accident happened in Ukraine, really not too far from where she was born, in Latvia. She will get her memory back, I'm sure of it, I'm just a little worried that if it takes more than 2 months more the embassy might lose patience with us.

Any news guys? We're all waiting for you to catch up to us, the AOS is slowing down a lot too, some of us are at 8 months now, hoping that's not holding you back any either.

Hi Thea, thanks, hopefully you will get thru with AOS soon. Well in my situation we're off on another sidetrack and need to handle that first before anything can happen. Loreta's memory isn't completely back yet. She knows me but it seems she can't quite put her finger on the details of where she knows me from. She doesn't remember any of her friends in Cyprus. She trusts me though so that makes it easier. Its been 2 weeks. We're talking about having her see a hypnotist if she doesn't get her memory back soon. Its a little frustrating cause I know she knows things but she doesn't know how she knows. The memories are there in her subconscious but they have to come out.

Just catching up here with the recent news. Lots of ups and downs for you Looky, but seems like things are turning around again. What a worrying time... yes definitely a movie in the making. I was relieved to read your last post and hope things continue to improve for Loreta over the coming days.

We still don't have any final word, but the Tier 2 said they seemed to have everything they needed.... this all took a couple more weeks. She then said she had done her appraisal and had forwarded it to her supervisor in Vermont with her recommendations. We then got a posted update from the supervisor saying the Tier 2 had requested an expedite and we would hear more in about a week. We should have something any day now, but I know there are lots of delays at present within the system, so we just wait and hope. There is still no certainty of an approval so its very stressful. I will let you knowof any more news at it happens.

RK also, thanks so much for your support. Today is 21 months since we have been together, so it has been a long road. Not much of a life, but if it all works out it will be worth it. Best wishes to you all.

A.

Andie, thats good to hear that they are finally getting your case together. You deserve an expedite. This whole experience has been very crazy for you, being in limbo for so long. It sounds to me like there's a little light peeping through the dark tunnel. Hopefully something good will happen soon. (F)

Thanks RK, yes a good movie could me made out of our relationship, but I hope not with the ending of a Romeo and Juliet movie. Oh there are suprisingly so many clinics out there, but its just a guess, as I don't really know anything for a fact. She's even lost her memory in the past. I will just have to wait it out cause until I hear from her nothing is really going to help. I tried to call her mother in Latvia, but Loreta doesn't like to worry her mother so all her mother thought was that Loreta was in Cyprus.

Thanks for the prayers. I always have much better chance to get a connection to her Cyprus phone on weekends so who knows maybe one of these coming weekends I'll be able to talk to her. If she's conscious and hasn't lost her memory she'll contact me somehow. I try to keep my mind occupied with work and other stuff.

Well RK good news for me. Loreta wasn't able to take that flight to Cyprus and ended up in a hospital in Poland instead. She did lose her memory and fortunately one of her friends found her and got her back to Cyprus.

Sometimes I dial her international phone number without realizing it. Thats what happened this morning. The phone was ringing and I had to recheck the number I dialed! For sure it was her number! I finally got her, but she had to ask who I was! I told her my name and she did think she knew this name from America! But anyway thats a great sign and no doubt she'll get all her memory back in 2 or 3 days.

@Looky - Wow. I think you and your fiance aree strong contenders for the saga of the decade award. That is said with sympathy and a feeble effort to imbue a bit of much needed levity. In all seriousness, thoughts and prayers to your fiancee in hopes she will make it OK through this next part of the saga. Also, for you Looky, it must be a bit frustrating not to know her exact current circumstances or whereabouts. Is it possible to make a call to some likely hospitals? Just an idea. She had a tick bite I guess nearly a month ago in Latvia. She had a servere reaction to it, and later got red spots or rashes all over her skin. Don't know whether that was an allergic reaction to the medicine they were giving her. Her flight back was on the Aug 9th and I suggested for her to change it. But the next available seats would have been a week or more later. My mistake, I should have asked her to change her flight anyway. She took the flight and landed at Warsaw airport in Poland. Her layover there was nearly 7 hours, and what happened to her waiting for the flight I'm murky about.

I think she made it to Cyprus but I think she is probably in a hospital there. Her cyprus phone seems to be on, as far as I can tell, I just can't get a connection. Her international phone needs a good signal to connect to a network. Those 2 things give me the thought that she's somewhere where there's not much of a signal, and a hospital fits that. At this point I'm just hoping and praying that she will recover from this tick bite.

I told the embassy to cancel the interview and that I need time, a couple months to see if I hear from her before I would try to reschedule.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsMarch 2011 Filers..

Thanks so much Looky - Well she can see what they've got in their system and seems to be saying that we sent everything. She also seems to be very aware of the mess with parts of our petition all over the place and is trying to collect it all up so it can be processed. I'm hoping its a good sign too - but the waiting is just killing me ...

BTW, when do you go away ?

Yes I can imagine the wait is killing, but hopefully you get some news soon. Government agencies can be painfully frustrating and also USCI is under staffed.

I won't tell when I'm leaving cause of some strange things that have gone on. Now even my emails to and from the embassy have been directly to the visa chief and even the appointment letter came directly through her email. So to ensure no leaks .....

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsMarch 2011 Filers..

He called back the next day and was told our paperwork was in four different places - she was going to ask for everything to be sent to her by Friday - and told him to call back Monday. He called back Monday and she said she was still waiting for one thing which still hadn't arrived on her desk - (but it looked like they had everything they needed :o )

I've put May 24 on my profile for submission date but actually it was sent in March (about the 30th I think) - we heard nothing for several weeks - no NOA1, but I'd noticed from VJ that was happening to a few people about that time and tried not to panic - then they returned it because they wanted a different check. The one he sent was his own company - which has his last name and no initials so didn't match the petition (what???). So by the time he received it and resent it in it was late May (hence the May 24 submission date).

She realised things were out of hand. She told him to call back later this week and to make sure we had all our other docs ready :o .... I'm too scared to even 'think' this out loud..

Hey Andie don't give up hope on this, I mean they are working on it. Probably the worst that can happen is maybe they're missing a document or something. But they'll give you a chance to send a new one in. With all the mess they've made with your documents they really should just process your case and approve you, you deserve it! (F)

I still think the fact that they found most, if not all, of your documents is a good sign.

Thanks Looky and RK so much for your support. I'm often online here and look around for familiar names and wonder how everyone is.

I have some good news!

Kev called this morning and spoke to a Tier 2 person.... (YAY!!)

He was armed with copies of all our information with him going right back to our first petition and explained what has been happening since Day 1.

The Tier 2 lady was great. She checked the computer and found everything !! She said our documents are all over the place - even located the missing followed up documents that we sent way back from our first petition. (We had wondered if they were floating around somewhere and confusing things). Anyway she said that when files look tricky in any way, often they are put to one side, which is what seems to have happened with ours. She said she was going to start working on it and he is to call again tomorrow and speak with her.

I am just so happy and relieved that everything is there and no longer just lost in space somewhere and that there is a person in their system that knows what is going on.

:)

Andie, thats great news! :D What a relief! I can't remember the last time you had good news, other than your new petition. Hopefully all goes smooth from here!

Well Looky I guess you're right.. but I don't see any alternative so I just keep trying to stay on track. I'm not working so its virtually impossible for me to get a visitor visa (insufficient ties) and because I spent too much time there earlier on. I didn't realise the significance of that - I thought so long as I was able to provide for myself, it wasn't an issue butI was wrong. We just have to wait, and if I knew the paperwork was all together and in progress it would be easier - not having a time frame is the most difficult thing.

Hi Andie, are you talking about the post I just made? Actually I must have been writing as you were posting so I didn't see your previous post until after I posted.

Well anyway, about the petition you have going now, is it beyond the normal time of getting NOA1 these days? Sometimes there is a case number on the back of the cashed check, was there one? The NOA1 is just a notice of receipt of your petition so even if somehow they boggled sending you that it doesn't necessarily mean your petition is not in process. If the USCIS customer service center keeps telling you they have no idea mention to Kevin that next time he talks to them to ask for a second tier officer, cause those guys have access to the computers. I didn't mean to say infopass can't work, its always worth a try. If it really goes to far beyond reasonable time, Kevin can contact a congressman living within his district.

I agree Andie, you need to know something is in the works so that you're not just waiting for nothing. I feel like Kevin is not pushing hard enough for your case, its about time he puts his priority where it needs to be, on you.

I hate that you both are still stuck way back in this part of the process. The whole process sucks, and while some of us are done now with it until our ROC in a few years, it still is bittersweet looking back on it, and how heartbreaking it was to be apart. The fact that you guys haven't kept up with us on the timeline, and are stalled back here so far behind, is just not right. I wish that this is it now for you both, and you get put through in a speedy manner. I know it's USCIS so that's not gonna happen, but I hope you guys can keep some more patience and get there. It's just not fair.

Hi Thea, thank you for your words. Yes its not fair but life is not fair and love is not fair. But I never expected this to go smoothly. I've had to spend a lot of time and effort to win Loreta over, spanning 10 years. Also with all the things that happened to her from her childhood and everything, she's never before wanted to marry anyone or leave the life she's living now. So I'm just so happy at the fact that we're still in the ball game and going to knock it out of the park! Remember there are a lot of March 2011 filers that gave the process up and we are still in the lucky category. But the fact is that there's no other woman in this world I want, so I have no other choice than to make it happen.

I'm more worried about Andie, I think its taking more of a toll on her.
Here's wishing you a smooth ride the rest of the way Thea, take care!

Hi Looky .. good to hear you have a plan in place and making progress. We sent a second petition in May finally .. didn't get a response so chased it a few weeks later. In the meantime the check has been banked and still no NOA1 or message though we sent the G1145 requesting those messages.

He has tried calling several times and gets nowhere ... just told to call back in 15 days or whatever. Then went to the local USCIS office a few days ago. There is only the secured area where the interviews take place and you cant get in without an appointment. There haven't been any Infopass times online since then, but I havent heard what has happened in the last 24hrs so can only hope something has happened.

I've noticed that there have been others who sent in their applications around that date that have similar problems so it seems it was a bad time. So all we have is the banked check and a reference number but no 'A' number.
What a ridiculous process!

Hope you and Loreta are both well otherwise.

Wow Andie! I was starting to wonder if you were going to get the petition off. Congratulations! Its been a while so I don't remember what our times were for NOA1 way back when. I just remember VSC and CSC cycled from being very slow to relatively fast. Yes its a crazy process and they don't have enough workers. I never found infopass helpful at all, and all they generally do is look it up on their computers just as the service center would. Its good your check was cashed, so you know your petition is sitting in a pile on someones office. Hopefully you'll hear something soon.

Oh Loreta is fine and happy, we didn't know how much time that investigation was going to take so we had mades plans, so she had already made some plans to visit friends and go visit her mother in Latvia. The original plan was for me to go to Latvia at the same time and meet her there. But now that we have an interview date I will just go meet her a little before and after interview time. I got so sick of the Cyprus temporary sim card she had as a way of talking so I got her a international sim card so we have been able to talk to each other practically everyday for at least the last 3 months. That makes so much difference and makes us so much happier!

Good luck to you and Kevin and hope it all goes well! Let us know when you get that NOA1!

So, Looky any news yet????

Hi Georgina, we had to get it rescheduled. No matter, we found out her police reports were stolen from her by that man. So it takes a month or so to get the new reports. The interview is in September, and I will go over there several days before and go to the embassy with her. I think that incident with that man took a toll on her, but I'm going to make sure she stays calm and knows there's nothing to worry about.

Well Rk and Geor,

The only good thing to report is that we've got a new interview again. This time I am going there and make sure she gets this done. This last one got screwed up again only this time she had so many nigtmares and stress overloading her that she was not able to get much sleep at all the night before the interview and was in no condition to do the interview.

The embassy lady gave us another one near a date I asked for, so that I could get there a couple days before the interview and make sure she is calm and comfortable for the interview. So the saga continues but this time I am going to make sure its going to come to a nice ending. Actually we are taking her dog to America also so most airlines won't carry pets until September cause its way too risky for them to carry pets when the ground temperatures are so hot at the arrival airport.

Geor congratulations on your future baby boy! Hope all is well RK, and everybody else.

@Looky. Funny!! :D I agree, is better and safest not to metnion dates/time frames or other items that may reveal info wiser to "keep under one's hat." Too many suspicious events to take any chances. Importantly: glad to her all is going well! I am rooting strongly for you and your fiancee!! -RK

Thanks RK and Geor! One of Loreta's friends came to visit her and she is going to go to the embassy with her.

Just as we thought we would be able to forget that man, we realized that Loreta's police reports were missing and the only one that could have taken them was that guy. First thing I did was email that embassy lady, and all she said was we need to get them and she also said if Loreta knew where the man was maybe we could get them back. I told he no way, Loreta would be scared to see this guy again and I wouldn't want her too go near him! I just told her we would just order the reports again.

Oh mann thats when we had another big scare. Loreta went to the police station to request a report, and instead they took her passport, said there was some sort of complaint against her and that she would have to sign something the next day stating that she would not leave the country. They said they needed to do some checking and they don't know how long it would take! Loreta said she needs the passport as she has an interview with the US Embassy, and they said they will contact the embassy. They called her a bit later saying, it was ALL A MISTAKE and she could come and get her passport! It definitely got her in a stressed and worried mood and worried me for a little bit when we were on the phone and then her other phone rang from the station giving her the good news!

So we're both in our happy moods again and I'm still confident that everything will work out fine, just that she will have to do the interview and then get the police reports to the embassy when they come in.

Hope all is going well for you Geor, and the same for you RK!
