The app is called Schlage Link, the same little utility that was featured in Apple's "12 Apps of Christmas" holiday spot as "an app that can light up the tree". Schlage Link is a free download in the App Store. It can control several Schlage home devices including a module for lights, entry door locks, thermostats and in home video cameras. Both from near and from afar. (watch video after break) Schlage_link_iphone_app The minor downside of this fantastical concept, is that your iPhone must be paired with a specific Z-Wave home automation module which requires a $12.99 monthly service plan and purchasing the Schlage LiNK Starter Kit for $299. That's just for starters. If that speed bump doesn't slow you down, then you may be in for a seriously geeky treat. That's a bit much, but I just saw a commerical and the couple was in the car going on vacation and forgot to turn out the lights in the house. She goes to her iphone and there was a button to turn out the lights. WTH! If they make the one that cooks your dinner, I'll get mine turned back on even though the phone service sucks. NO SAH.. yesterday he picked up the kids.. him and wifey was on honeymoon all spring break so he didn't get the kids this past wkend and wanted to see them.. WHYYYYY when he came back he mouthed I love you as he left?? Girl no he didn't he is a major piece of work you need to get his raas on video wid deh foolnish! cama- but close enough lol... ok hubby and I are arguing because apparently he started smoking Blacks and I dont agree with it. And Im pissed off abt it cuz I DONT DO SMOKERS. What do I do? Black and Milds at that them thangs is wing ballin Yuck! all u drag race fans!! Hubby just got home, so it soon abt that time LOL yuh soon get used to us I'm going to have to start pasting their spanish sentences in the spanish to english online translation. One of my co-workers met a girl online from Dominican Republic and had to use the translation site all day long. lol Neither of the two could speak a word of each others language. It didn't last long though. LOL that is too funny , it's a shame they couldn't make it work though guess just wasn't mean to be.... Just talked to Nov and she's hanging in their. Her grandmas funeral is tomorrow. Keep her in your prayers. She did say the weather was nice and that she was drinking Wray & Nephew rum cream. Where's the rolling my eye's smiley? I was like a kid asking her is it mango season yet? lol Love mango. Lawny and her family are in my prayers hope she is able to get some rest on this trip and ease her mind.... Sometimes when I go to this area called Langley Park in MD, the guys be talking to be in Spanish. I be like no, mi no speak espanial (sp). When I was in Cancun the same thing happened. I wish I knew how to speak it because I would mess with then big time. LOL honey chile, I am always mistaken for Dominicana, Puertorriquena or Brazilliana. When I am in the Latino market I frequent people from all Latin countries that work there all speak to me in Espanol, I always tell them I am Haitian/ Jamaican and they don't care they continue to speak to me in Espanol LOL. That's the magic phrase thanks everyone..babies dem good! they got their days and nights mixed up tho...up all night and sleep all day.... i'm not really a religious person...a christian yes, but not much into going to church, etc...but just wanted to thank the Lord for blessing us so richly with these beautiful girls! Our family and friends have been so supportive and amazing, the girls are healthy, we are so happy....and loving every minute of this journey! I thank all of you for sharing in this adventure with us as well! I believe the fun has only begun!! on another note, i have not heard anything back about my LOC paperwork nor has our check cleared...over 2 weeks ago i mailed it....kinda wondering what the heck is up with it... Awwe Sweetie that is so wonderful such a blessing! Did you sent it Priority mail so you could check the tracking? I know.... I need to seek counseling. Most of it is research we have to do but u not suppose to copy-cat somebody else's work. BF says, when was the last time you took a shower? After some thought......SATURDAY. 5 days ago. This is a 13 year old active but autistic boy. ####### is that??????? I mean even if you were crazy busy and there just wasn't time. JG since I have boys they need to wash every day or they will be wingballing ( funky as hell) for some reason when they come in from outside they have that outside boy smell if you know what I mean. Morning SunRay! (waiving) I agree Dada, you can't go wrong with a sundress or maxi dress. Those are really cute! I love Maxi dresses JG... Tierra takes a shower every other day. With her curly hair if it doesnt get washed/conditioned and combed it turns into a giant knot! She is starting to get a little body odor, stinky feet etc... so I cannot let her go longer. Tierra has a friend whos mom told me "wow, Tierra showers that much? I can get my daughter to shower twice a week if I'm lucky" .. Yuck! And the girl has some stank! I would MAKE her shower, that is just too bad! Tierra doesn't always want to but she doesn't get the choice. The book "The Coupon Mom's Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half" is really helping! Tomorrow, I'm going to get paid to buy some Stride gum @ CVS, as well as strike a zillion other bargains. They're open 24 hrs so I almost want to go now, but should be asleep. Anyway, here's what I made for dinner. Less than $5 for 6 servings: 1 lb ground beef (chuck) - $1.79 1/4 white onion - $0.50 2 boxes Kraft Mac & Cheese - $0.69 each (sale @ Walgreens) 1/2 stick butter (or less) & 1/2 cup milk (or more) - let's say $1 various seasonings - pennies @ organic store, bought in bulk Brown seasoned beef, adding chopped onion partway through. Drain & rinse off fat. Prepare boxed macaroni as instructed. Add onion/beef mixture & more seasonings. Eat. Say "Yummy!" Portion into single-serve bowls (tip from "Mindless Eating") for future meals. Dang your journey was before I came pon VJ but I wonder how miserable you were when you went in de yaad. Honey pon FB so depressed I bet you were a mess as well. Now get out mi face!!! Dada yes our journey was so long it took 7 months for our initial USCIS approval and I was losing my mind the whole way LOL. It seems like forever until the process was complete but it was 200% worth it! I know exactly how Honey is feeling as Den's would say Poe thang but that is why I was so happy to find VJ and be able to share that anxiety with you all. There are so many emotions during this process it helped so much to have other people going through it together. I am just so blessed cause my previous relationships in JA and Haiti girl were a hot mess I never imagined I would or could actually be happy. Heck I had no reason to be mad at Mikel, I was the one who encouraged the trip and honestly I was the one that said he should go by himself. We were all supposed to go. Once the time came and he was excited and was down there it was a different story. I still don't know why I was upset and was picking fights and what not. I know you say you wouldn't act like he is acting but honestly until you are the one being left behind you just don't know. Call hubby and tell him you know he is going to miss you and that you really wish he was going and it isn't going to be the same without him. I think that is all I was looking for. The last thing he wants to hear is how much fun you are going to have kicking it without him especially because he was the one you were kicking it with before. Dillon you are so right, that is a huge step IMO and have to consider the other parties feelings that they are gonna miss the heck out of you when yuh gone! MrsTee I agree absence does make the heart grow fonder and trips and time alone are needed in a healthy relationship. Dills we must be the only couple who are attached at the hip. I don't need any time alone time at work is enough for me and when I'm gone is enough for him. I can't imagine leaving the country getting on a plane without my Husband for th sale of fun, God forbid something happened and I was never to return? All that aside I don't want to travel alone or with girfriends without him, I did that enough when I was single I love my Husband and want to spend every moment and share every experience I can with him. I understand there are certain instances where there is a need to travel alone, family emergencies and such, but just cause I need a vacation Nuh Suh not without my Man.
