Dear Sheila:

A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine.. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the vacuum pipes and hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the injectors.

Island, We talk everyday without the OUTRAGEOUS phone bills!! We alternate weekends; I go to chicago or he comes here. He is only 2 hours away so it works for me. He's close enough for me to just get up and go see him and yet far enough away to keep me interested and missing him!

Nat you manage to eat things I didn't even know existed. I guess I'm pretty unadventurous when he comes to my food too. I actually don't even like the taste of food. That's not good Jawi because your body moves into starvation mode and any time you eat food it packs it away thinking it won't get more anytime soon. You need to eat little meals and healthy snacks all day long - you need to stay strong to heal that body back up!



I know...I know..but my body fights me. It's getting so bad that I can't even smell food cooking without doubling over in pain from stomach knotting up. Just talking about it has me ready to head to the restroom.

I definitely understand how you feel as I feel the ring is a symbol of your commitment as well and we never take ours off. Poor Hubby's ring was stuck on h is finger for 3 weeks because he has gained weight and poor man was in pain but we finally got it off with a valiant effort! Although he can't wear it on married finger until its stretched he is now wearing it on his pinky because he knows how upset I would be if he doesn't have it on. I know it's not in any way a reflection of his love if he doesn't wear it but it's like our wonder twin powers ( I know that is silly ) but its a part of the bond we share.

Jawi that man loves you and the ring is only an inanimate object and our emotions get the best of us most times. I am sure he knows now how much it means to you and he and the ring won't ever part. I so wish you could fly to him now and put your arms around him and all will be right in the world again rose.gif

I am very sad because my husband found out this morning that his mother passed away. He is on a plane right now on his way back to Jamaica. The saddest part about it is that he had a ticket to go down for a week on monday. He was just five days short of seeing his mother one last time.

She had been sick with headaches and dizzy spells, but nobody thought she was on her deathbed. She was only 51 years old. I still don't know what she died from.

So, my question is...what should I do? I want to go down and be there for him, but the money just isn't there. I don't have any experience with Jamaican funerals or customs.
