Victor opens his eyes leaving his children over the moon that he's awake. Their joy turns to sadness when they are told his heart has bullet fragments and needs surgery right away. Victor tells Victoria he needs Nikki to know he still loves her! The Newman kids 1.0 set out to find their mom swiftly. Later, Paul comes by and Victoria asks him to find her mother and bring her to the hospital right away which he agrees to!! He gets a text with info from someone spotting Nikki the night she disappeared. Meanwhile, Billy contacts Ashley and informs her Victor saved Jack by taking the bullets in the chest which were for Jack. This bit of information makes Ashley realize she still loves Victor, even though she is pissed at him. She realizes her place is with him on his deathbed. Ashley shows up with Adam nipping by her heels. When Jack gets the news about his niece, he freaks out at Victor's hospital room door, screaming out that Victor, not Colleen should be the one who died. Paul and Nick pull Jack away, leaving him to see the family his father told him to look after and realizing they are in complete chaos. Ashley goes to see her husband and isn't able to confess her love for him when he calls out for Nikki, causing her to flee the room! When he finds out about Colleen, Victor is shocked and aghast realizing his plan to take Jack down has resulted in two families being destroyed. Paul hot on a tip, finds Nikki, ends up at a spa in the Rocky Mountains. They are both shocked when they see each other and have a very uncomfortable moment. Paul tells Nikki about Victor getting a few caps busted in him, and explains the Mary Jane/Patty situation. Nikki quickly realizes Victor is connected to the entire thing. Paul then informs Nikki her loved ones have been frantic about her whereabouts. She tells him she has sent several letters to the ranch for her children and Victor. Leaving both to wonder where the letters disappeared to when he tells her no one received them. In Genoa City, Ashley decides to face Victor and their sad marriage realizing they can never give one another the love the other needs, just as Victor goes into cardiac arrest! The doctors come in with the elder Newman kids in tow. Nick gets a call from Nikki asking about an update on his father. Nick doesn't mince words, prompting Nikki to head back to Genoa City. Change is coming and now its hitting you, months ago it seemed like so far away and now its only a few months away from a reality! To be honest I went through the same issue when we got our approval I was so happy I could Kingpupalic down the hallway but after a few days I was scared. Why I love my Husband's dirty bathwater but its not only a change for me but for my children ( and we all know how that turned out) So girl I say this to say that the anxiety is NATURAL! You are leaving Yard to come to a new country and start a new life its sounds easy enough but its not simple at all and all the emotions you are feeling are warranted. Just continue to pray and put your faith in the Creator everything will fall into place. I sent in 3 years of tax returns & W-2s along w/6 months pay stubs & copy of my passport bio page (along with all the other required docs) so hopefully they won't ask for an employer letter in another RFE. I did one for the K-1 visa but not this phase. My boss has been too much of an AZZ lately for me to feel comfortable taking a letter to him to sign again. Now we'll just see what happens and if this causes any delay. I'm just happy to have it done (for now). If they won't accept the vaccination card copy, we'll have to go to another doctor so they can complete that form. At least it shouldn't cost much now that mister is on my health plan. Mind you, his plan was to say bye to EVERYONE and get everyone's phone numbers, since he gave all his chips away. But we didn't have time. Then we HIGHTAILED it to Montegy Bay. Once we got to Lucea, I called the manager of that DHL, Colin, to tell him where we were. He said "So it'll take you another hour?" I said "A little less than that." He said to call him when we got to Mo Bay. Well, when we were just outside Mo Bay, I gave him a call and he said he was already at DHL. He said he'd pull the package while we got there. Just after 11, we got to DHL and sure enough, this angel of a manager was there waiting with Steven's package! Of course we tipped him for his inconvenience that saved us a ton of time & money. Then we had a LOT of drama at the airport. I WISH I'd bought the ticket online that morning (esp since Continental lets you cancel with no penalty within 24 hours) before we even knew... it would've taken 5 minutes MAX. However, it took several different Continental workers almost an HOUR to sell us one ticket to Houston. I was blown away by the... process (didn't want to say incompetence). Blah Blah Blah. He's here now! The fact that this worked out is 100% attributed to the favor of God. His first words as the plane was landing in Houston: "Lots of cars & lots of houses!" Sad part: He didn't get ANYONE's phone numbers. So somehow we have to do that, so he can talk to his friends & family. Nat I am so happy for you girl I am doing the Cabbage Patch here at my desk LOL People can pree me all they want but I am truly happy for you!!!
