My girlfriend who was pending her interview date from Columbia also recvd hers via email last week. My SO has yet to recv anything in the mail and the medical is tomorrow. I would just contact them to make sure the have yours on file. Philly, 7am is the first appointment, McKoy was through in an hour and a half! He got hsi visa last week, so we are just waiting now! Hi Melissa thanks for the info we will be the bright and early, the embassy is close to our house so that's a plus! You mentioned before that they stopped using DHL, however other Vjers mentioned they went through DHL. Saturday morning we woke up & went to the pre-marital workshop. It usually runs from 9-3, but the pastor of the church stopped by to talk to us afterwards, so it went much later. Steven wanted to leave early to go to my friend's housewarming party (started @ 4). I was like, since when are you trying to go somewhere early??? Well, we finally left & headed to my friend's party, an hour away. We got there around 5:30 and I walked in and was like, Wow! It looks very festive in here! I also noticed that Steven & I were the only people, so I figured she was having a very small party. Then she told me to look at the cake. It had MY name on it. As I looked at it puzzled-like, some of my college friends jumped out of the bedroom & yelled Surprise! It was a surprise bridal shower + Steven. We ended up staying there until about 1am. Then Sunday, we woke up to take my little brother (Big Brother/Big Sister program) to this fun center called Zuma. After 3 hours of that we got both of our hair done, then visited one of my friends. Did anyone see the meteor shower last night. Tierra and I saw a couple "shooting stars". There was no way we were getting up at 2am to go outside and look for more. That was when the peak was supposed to be. But I just saw on the news between 5-9pm (EST) there will be a good chance to see more. Yay! I think it is so cool and the skies are so clear and starry here right now. Best thing about winter are the clear night skies and beautiful sunsets. We had some BRIGHT orange and pink skies last week. So what's new today? Mawning Irie, No meteor shower in Philly that sounds beautiful! Nothing new today, the usual morning madness! Dropping off both kids to school on opposite sides of the city and Hubby to work as well then coming across the bridge to NJ to work by 8:30 ( which never happens ) LOL. I so can't wait for Friday to come I'm also looking forward to Thanksgiving because I can eat some turkey and food. I have been eating only veggies and fruits for a minute, even cut out the fish....... When it's nice outside we go for walks after dinner. mi husband a gain 30.... So did my Husband , all those Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies he went crazy! Good thing he is 6'5 so he just looks thick ( mi likey) no more Mawga haaaaa. Seriously when we realized he was gaining so quick that's when we started changing our diet, cut out the sweets and fast food and exercising more. Well God's timing is always right so I we will just keep our heads up til then. Best wishes to anyone going for interviews soon, and hopefully you will get the blonde lady as she seems to just reveiw the documents ask 1 or 2 questions and pprove people.
