He is an excellent father...I can't say what the Mama will or will not do in the future, all I can do is handle myself and hold myself up to do what I need to do as a woman. If I do that, I will never go wrong. I'm going into this with the best intentions in the world. I'm keeping God as the head and everything else will be alright! Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin (Part 21)	Well to my surprise last night when I got in my youngest son was in our bedroom with Hubby playing the Wii together laughing joking sharing techniques have a fabulous time! Mi almost drap pon di floor, had to pinch myself to make sure this was real and not a dream LOL. I felt so good at that moment, Hubby saw the look on my face and just winked and kept on playing. I was so proud of both of them at that moment, # 1 for my son honoring his contract to me with improving his behavior, being responsible, taking ownership of his actions and cooperating with all us all week. #2 Hubby knew that my part of the contract was to restore privileges if his commitments were honored but we had not talked about which one to restore 1st and when. So he took the initiative and was proactive and allowed him to play the video games so they could spend some one on one time together. My youngest son is trying and that's all I can ask for and we talked this morning on the drive in to school and he said I know its not going to be just us anymore but I can get used to that He acknowledged that Damian is a very different man that his Father and has done for him in the short time he has been here than he sperm donor has done his entire life, what could I say to that but give him the look of love. I hope that this is a positive step in the right direction for all of us and we only go forward and not backward..... The only thing that happened negative was my youngest called to my oldest when he came in from drum class to come and join them and he refused and slammed his bedroom door.... I just don't want confrontation right now I've had enough, so I chose to step back and let him cool off Hubby said he will talk to him today after school and see if he wants to play as well and see if he will talk to him. Although he refused to sign the contract so I don't feel as though he should be allowed to play but Hubby says he wants to try it his way. We arrived at home around 12ish. He took shower and got fresh, so we could get all stinky and sweaty again. Felt so good not be alone in my bed any more. The dog was pretty upset about having to sleep in his own bed...LOL!! We got up next morning and chilled until about 1030. Then we went to walmart, burlington coat factory, and famous footwear. Got my baby RIGHT!!! We got back home and I started making dinner and of course doing my homework. Eric had this bright idea, that he would go outside and rake leaves, so I didn't fuss, I just said good luck with that. He came in about 2 and 1/2 hrs later like it is damn cold out. His nose was running and his hands were just as ashy. LOL!! But my yard looks good though. We ate dinner Turkey wings, cabbage, and yellow rice. Chilled and watched TV, then more SEXY Party TIME... Well I have 3 anniversaries I celebrate with Hubby during the year 1. The day we got married ( Valentines Day) 2. The day we met 3. The day we got engaged ( Christmas Day) I am now trying to think of the perfect gift for this man for our upcoming anniversary, I want to do something special since this will be the 1st Xmas- Kwanzaa Holiday in the States. He Loves jewelry so I want to get him a new set of diamond studs and a new watch I think he will love that. At the end of the show, everyone said they were tired and ready to go back to the rooms to pack or just chill since we all were leaving on different flights the next day to head back to our destinations in the U.S. I was pissed My last night in JA, I want to at least go to the little club at the resort, dance a little , have some fun. So I go back to my room and change into my version of my skinny jeans which really aren't skinny but they fit just right in all the places they need to! So I come back down to the little club by myself with none of my crew...lames!!! Anyhoo, I'm dancing for like an hour or two and I notice that the band members are in the club. How do I know this? Because all I can see in the club is that gold suit and some teeth.... All of this is fate, but I have no clue just yet... So it's so hot in the club, I go up to the bar to get a water. I notice one of the band members (drummer) cause he has dreads...so I say "Hi" and he says "Hi" so I get my water and go back out to the dance floor. Well about 15 minutes later, the drummer runs up to me and grabs my hand and he says, "I think you two should meet" He has with him the guy in the gold suit (keyboard player)...so we say "Hi" and try to talk and hear each other over the loud music...after about 10 minutes I start feeling a little different about him...this is no joke...I start actually wanting to talk with him and not just be polite. So we're really smiling and I just keep thinking OMG, he is so handsome. He was skinner than I like them but he had the nicest smile and after a while I was able to ignore that gold suit We ask all the usual questions, "Are you seeing anyone and all that...blah blah, blah..." He tells me he is newly single and I'm honestly single at that time as well...so we're hitting it off. So he's being a gentleman asking me if I needed anything from the bar and we're whispering trying to talk over the music and all of a sudden the D.J. starts playing Usher's "Love in the Club"...well this is July 2008, this is a hot song in Atlanta, so I pull Den out to the dance floor, he almost spilled his beer...he was so nervous and shy. I have no clue what got into me I was thinking this is my last night in JA, I don't know any of those people in here and this mane is fine. I channel my alter ego and I am all over the dance floor. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin (Part 21)	I was talking to my cousin who is Jamaican born but now lives in Canada he is more like a brother to me than a cousin. Anyhoo we were discussing the issues with my eldest son and he suggested sending him up there for the Xmas holiday so he can really spend time with him and get into his head. I think this would be great for him because he has such a way with people in general so I know my son would benefit from time with him. He is outside the immediate family circle so he is not viewed as a threat. He knows everything that has been going on and is willing to do anything to help. Well I discussed it with Hubby last night and he is all for it , he has such admiration for him and thinks its a wonderful idea. I went and did the dumbest thing I could have ever done and mentioned it to my MOM ( UGHHHHH as I pop my self) Of course she flipped out about it, he must be chaperoned blah blah blah and of course we got into it cause I was traveling between and Haiti and JA when I was younger than him and he is 16 so what is she talking about!!?? Of course we got into it and now she is not talking to me Lawd the drama. I basically told her its my decision to do what I feel is best he is a not a baby he can travel alone he needs to experience this independently. I know that this may not be a solution but at least he can step outside the family circle and have new experiences and see Canada and come back ready for a fresh start. ( praying that happens) Plus we all need space and time away from all this drama..... But for Kwanzaa isn’t the gifts supposed to be hand made?? Dada yes they are but to be honest I haven't done that in so long. So I do different things live give books to the boys, or offer my services in some other fashion, a coat drive or help out my Mom or if I am abroad my family members with a specific chore or request. Girl I can put in a weave for Kwanzaa LOL . My Mother actually makes jewelry so she just gives different items to her friends and family which I always love.
