I understand what you are trying to do but I also agree TELLING him what to do isn't going to help much. I try to encourage Louis to go to school. I tell him he AND US will get closer to our goals if he has a better education. He does not have a whole lot of confidence in himself so he is hesitent. I continue to remind him of our goals and let him know what I think he should do. It the end it will be his decision... in fact if I made him do it, he probably would resent me and not do very well. He has been here a year and 1/2. Its slow going, but I feel this year is going to be his year. He wants a child, I want a child... we are not getting any younger. To make more money, get a better job... doing what he likes... he will HAVE to go back to school. He is getting closer to making the decision on his own, and I will be so proud of him when he does. THose trips where you fly back and have to work the next day are the worst - although I do it every time, cause I refuse to waste vacation and sit at home, lol Tell me about it but I am the same way will be right back at work the next day conserving that vaca time! I feel you on that. I always tried to plan my trips around a holiday so I wouldn't have to use as much vacation time. Me too girl! See that is why I said something to you because its been so long…. LOL Well imma tell you a secret but don’t tell Philly. I’m not sure if I will be going to JA in Feb. I haven’t booked my ticket yet and my girls are talking about going to Cabo? Never been there before but from the pictures it looks beautiful. I’m trying to decide. I LOVE JA so I want to go back but I’m thinking should I try something new? I mean my passport has a million stamps in it but they all say JA… One would think I have been to many places if they actually pay attention they’ll see its only one country… I can’t stand the thought of being here for my birthday in the freezing cold when I could be on the beach sipping a cocktail. He just called me all outraged because the only person who is available to corn row it tomorrow is a man. He said he's not letting any man play in his hair. (Yet it was perfectly fine for a woman to do my hair.) I bust out laughing, but he was SO SERIOUS. Thing is, that was the only close hair salon in our area that caters to a corn-row desiring audience. So I don't know what he's going to do. At his encouragement, I'm posing this question: Would any of your men let another man corn-row his hair? I am rolling, girl NO yuh knoa how much bad word yuh would hear from my Hubby LOL - the road to Mom's house washed out in Gustav and hasn't been fixed - so you can only drive so far, then you have to climb - one step wrong and you fall into the gully! On the way, as you try to carefully pick your steps, lives an evil donkey who is loose, and DJ and his brother took great pleasure in telling me to be ware of him cause he bites! You would think they would be gentleman and make sure he stays away - instead, they took great pleasure in watching him chase me. Nah suh, nah more walking the hill for me! Sus you got me rolling about this Donkey has anyone ever gotten a photo this is so funny to me Hell no G would go Bald before he let another man braid his hair.... If you want a a shack on the beach, hell, I can call my ex-MIL for you! i married my wife in mobay and i thought it was a nice stay. then, my wife and i drive to ochi from kin and i was impressed with the resort areas. it was a hour drive from kin to ochi and i remember on the way back from ochi that we stopped by a food chain and the jamaican vendors come running to me saying try the jerk, try the natural juice and before u know it the money i didnt expect to spend was spent. i told my wife they recognize that iam american for they didnt bother my wife, sis in law and cousin in laws. lolllllllllllll Wow, Jamwifey -- how fast were you driving to do that in an hour? Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin (Part 22)	Hey MrsTee...he is maintaining...had a pretty bad scare last week. My parents had to go Phoenix last week to take my Dad to the Mayo Clinic because that is where the liver transplant will take place. It was a follow up visit to one that he had there in September. Anyways the trip down was very hard on him and he got car sick. He was very naucious since then durning his appointments and everything. On Thursday they were to drive back to Vegas and all night I pretty much cried because I knew he wouldn't make it on the trip back. So on Thursday morning I called my Mom and she said he is just sitting on the side of the bed he will not move, he will not let me help him put on his clothes and he is being very mean. So I said ask if he wants to talk to me and he is always so excited to talk to me. So she asked and he said no. So I said Mom call the hospital there is something wrong. So about an hour later my brother calls and said that they called the ambulance and are taking him to the hospital his mind isn't there. He was yelling at the paramedics to not touch him and to leave him alone. With his failing liver ammonia builds up and goes to his brain and when that happens it causes dementia. Well he couldn't keep his medicine down for a couple of days that helps clear the ammonia out so that is why it built up. He was almost on the otherside so thank GOD she called the ambulance. He is down to 120lbs and very weak but I am so happy that they made it home. The Mayo Clinic said that there are no livers available and he is past the age cut off for a live liver donation but his doctors are going to go before the board to see if they will make an exception. I said I would check to see if I am a match and hopefully they approve him before it is too late. They take 60% of the liver from the live donor but the live donor's liver grows back in just a few weeks. Oh Dillon, I am continuing to pray for your Dad. But you know how we women love taking charge and be in the know Unfortunately, my SO will not be attending the interview because he just started a new job a couple of moths ago, so he's using the little vacation time that he has to fly back with me, and also to spend a few days with me after my arrival and our wedding. "I'm a big girl he says" Hey Tam, how exciting! are you nervous about the interview? That's great. I've heard lots of good news from Haiti so far. I spoke to my co-worker's mother yesterday who is trying to leave Haiti. It was so sad listening to her stories. She is running out of food and people are charging $2 per egg and $15 per gallon for gas...sad. Hey Shem ((( waving))) I know it's such a shame but I was waiting for it....... Yes, it a long process with some Caribbean countries. I've heard even longer in Jamaica. They flew 100 orphans to the Netherlands...wonder what's going to happen to them?? I saw another touching story where a Texas lady who was also in the process of adopting 3 girls from Haiti. She flew back two days ago to get her kids. Their house was flatten but the kids refused to leave knowing their mother would rescue them. It was pitch black when she finally arrived and called out their names and the girls emerged...I lost it. They are now resting in Florida. They acknowledged receipt of the requested evidence (which they actually received last Tuesday). It said we can expect to hear again in 60 days. I'm hoping it's smooth sailing from here on out. Congrats Nat - I am working from home today - Which means I am about to head to the gym, then will be sitting on the couch in my pjs, pretending to listen to conference calls and reading my schoolwork, lol luvs it! Our hospital had beds with teddy bears set up waiting on them it was so cute. We had two girls over there from Pittsburgh and they vowed not to come back unless they could bring the kids with them. I hear families will be following behind them soon too. Girl I‘m going to respond ta yuh e-mail but man yuh can chat…. LOL That is so sweet I am so happy for the pickney this is such a blessing! PRAISE THE LORD.. last year the ex filed both my kids ( we usually split them when filing) and i was left high and dry, this year since i have custody i LEGALLY could do them both, but believe me that don't stop daddys from claiming them and by the time IRS do something about it.. mnths have went by.. sooo i beat him to the punch.. YAYYYY... money for the new house orrr renewal of vows in aug, im still undecided.. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin (Part 22)	Wha ya deal wid yardies!!!! man its been a minute.. i never thought in a million years i could stay away this long, but ALL of my computer time has went to job and car hunting for the hubby..it took us both on the internet and his drving all over Dallas to test drive cars, but we finally got him a lil cash car last week!!! YAYYYYY still looking for work and after being here 7 mnths its kinda getting to him now i think.. he was kind of quiet this morning when we talked.. he has been down before but he is such an advocate of staying positive he bounces back pretty quick, but this time he sounds different.. in reality he's only been looking since nov when he got his work permit, so i try to tell him its okay, but i know its still hard. i keep telling him there always still the option of remaining my househusband, but i guess thats a no go.. anyway.. hope all is well w/ my girls and hope to talk to ya'll soon when i don't have to be w/ craigslist and careerbuilder on the regular.. oh.. philly my girl.. thought about you the other day.. i hope any family and friends are doing okay hun.. much love Quanna (((waving))) mi miss yuh! They have skinny leg pants, and if you get them on clearance it's a good deal Yes Sus we checked there as well, he likes Forman Mills too because they have so many varieties he has never seen so many skinny jeans in one place before was in heaven haaaa we have to go before our trip too.
