IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	CR-1/ Criminal Convictions	Ok so question I was put on an ARD program back in 2006 for theft which resulted in me paying a fine. The case was later on closed and a letter was given to me indicating that I was not convicted of any crime and was told that when asked if I committed any felony/ crime to indicate no. I have nothing else on my record. And my fiance has never been arrested or charged with anything. Will this be a problem for us. He is full aware of this one mistake..... I would not cancel either petition. I would leave both on the list and most likely you will probably be married two years by the time your interview comes so you'll automatically get the IR1 anyway. I think they automatically do that now days down there. But Tim should be able to tell you better because he's been at it longer and has already gone through the process where as I'm just getting started. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Still Initial review	my fiance has been calling USCIS many times and they have repeated answer: We have to wait..it is driving us crazy..It's six months already..I heard others were approved in just 3 months and others are earlier.. :)No some times it take 7 to 8 months you just have to wait. OMG you better call the US embassy and find out because the same thing happen to us and little did you know that our case was under administration process. My finance had his interview 8/24/11 and today is 11/7/11 and no Visa. Yet they did approve his Visa, if you didn't get it by now call the embassy. or better yet go back to the embassy because that is how we found out. best of luck. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Why was my case transfered?	Hello to All, We also sent our I-130 to Chicago lockbox on August 21, they received it on August 23. Received NOA1 hardcopy (receipt) on August 29 mailed from Vermont Service Center. On September 1, I received a NOA mailed from Vermont stating they had transferred the file to USCIS-NBC in Lee's Summit, MO because the record indicates that this office has jurisdiction over our case. It seems this is the case for many who filed around this date. Does anyone know the reason for this transfer? Not yet, I was thinking of giving it a few more weeks and then calling... The NOA # didn't work, but the one on the Bio appointment did...Guess that's not too helpful tho You could always call USCIS... Thanks, that helped, I was using the EAC # from my NOA not my bio. I have been praying incessantly every single day and so has my Tani. That is the only thing that keeps me going through the day, prayer and knowing I have the deep love of my fiance.
