K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Adopted	If his name on the birth certificate is different from the name he is using right now, then you have to send the adoption papers to prove name change.   Yes, you can choose to send either the birth certificate or copy of all the pages of valid passport to show citizenship. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Adopted	If he listed his aunt and uncle as parents on his G325A, I would suggest to include it. If not, you do not need to.   You only need to show proof that he is an American citizen. You can do that with either birth certificate or copy of biographic page of passport.   Good luck! Hi! Thanks for your response. Does that mean we only have to choose between the biographic page of his passport and birth certificate. I thought that both should be included in the packet? I am concerned about the Birth Certificate though because he uses his uncle's surname now and I am not sure about his real parents' names on the birth certificate. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Adopted	Hello! We're preparing our I-129F packet. My fiance was adopted by his aunt and uncle when he was very young. Do we need to include a photocopy of his adoption papers along with his birth certificate? Is it possible to just not include his adoption papers? Any response will be very much appreciated. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Our RFE : If you have some tips and advice, we want them!! Thank you!	Hello Guys, Today we finally received our RFE. Most of these are very easy to understand and do but we want to grab this opportunity to ask you for tips and advice to make our RFE stronger. 1. Proof of meeting within Prior two years 2. Intent to marry ( both of us needs to write this.) 3.Form G-325A 4.Passport style photos (petitioner) 5. Additional Information 1. Proof of meeting within Prior two years.     - We sent them bunch of pictures already that we have met within prior two years. Also included pictures when were high school and really young. I've known my fiancé since high school. So that is roughly 13years. So what do you think we are lacking with the pics we sent? - Are your pictures labeled and dated? You need to indicate the names of the people, date, and location in which the photo was taken. Also, there are more HARD EVIDENCES for meeting within the past 2 yrs. passport stamps, boarding passes, itineraries, tickets, etc. 2. Intent to marry.    - We don't know how to start with this letter. lol. It's because we want to get married of course but what should we say that is not just plain? How can we make them believe that we really want to get married? - You can find this on the GUIDE section here on visa journey. This should be done by the both of you, indicating that you are willing to marry within 90 days of your arrival in the US. Signed and dated. 3. Form G- 325   - Now, We only have one form of G-325 but it said both Petitioner and Beneficiary needs to fill this form.    Did they forget to send two forms? ( my fiancé had the hard copy. He said there is only one form) - both petitioner and beneficiary must submit this along with your most recent passport style photo. 4. Passport style photo   - well.. Hopefully we'll get this right. 5. Additional Information   - What should we do with this one? What else should we send them? Thank you so much to all of you VJ in advance!!!!
