But I doubt they want to delay a citizen being with their fiancee, just because of a simple paper..maybe they will be kind enough to waive me sending them the decree because citizens can always be trusted to keep their word when they say they will do smthng like divorce. I gave my phone number on there. I dont think they can hold the whole application just because of one paper! thats not only because am an American, but am also paying them to process the papers. On the I-129F application I told them I will get divorce soon and send them the divorce papers when I have them, but in the meantime they should start processing the other papers. Something is a bit "off center" here. That other thread was 5 days ago. If the OP wants to maintain any level of credibility, they should clarify the disconnect between the two threads. As it stands, you are currently married and already filed a Fiance K-1 petition. How do you spell denied? HAHAHAHA!!! Either your a troll or very dumb! I vote troll!!! Yours will be transfered to California also. Now some people that have filed in June have gotten their NOA 2 by now but not many. After the NOA 2 it goes to the embassy of your fiance's country. That is the big unknown. The Philippines for example takes 3-5 months from the time they get your approved petition before an interview is given. Some embassies are quicker. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Oh nooo will we get problems now??	My fiancé mailed in the petition on June 22nd from Sweden, it should have reached them absolutely no later than July 3rd. We got the NO1 with a receipt date of July 25th, I guess that's actually when they registered the case. I've read somewhere they stamp the petition the same day it arrives and then it takes time before it's processed. Then I see on USCIS website there's an updated version of the petition now! The one we sent in expired on June 30th. Which date will they care about? When it arrives? Processed? Signed? Sent? What will happen? We did send and sign the petition before the expiry date of the form... how picky are they? Please does anyone know?? The problem isn't that the form will expire. The problem is the old form does not have the IMBRA questions on it. They will accept the petition. It's just now you will get a RFE for IMBRA. Just wait for it. They will send you the RFE soon. After seeing Dwar get some action by having his congressman send a personal fax I asked my Senator (Durbin, IL) to do the same last week. I got an email from his immigration aid saying that he did it for me and 2 others from my state on friday. He said that he would follow up today and see if any action is going to happen. USCIS stated (phone call) that they are no longer going by any kind of dates, if your case is in the mess regardless of NOA1-RFE-Proccessing (dates) they will not look into your case untill you reach a 6 month mark from your NOA1 and then and only then will they do an inquiry of your case. Anyone else heard this? oh dear god, why??????? this is complete BS.. what about the apparent notice I read in another thread that after Imbra RFE the case is entitiled to a decision in 60 days????
