I talked to a tier2 in California that could look at all my information.. So I assumed that either my file was scanned into the computer or someone had done some data entry.. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	K3 per USCIS website is still a option BUT it also says that you have to file I-130 first then I-129f and when the I-130 gets approved then it cancels the I-129f.. So you kinda roll the dice when you file.. I-129f full processing time is 6-12 months (make it through NBC/NVC/Consulate/interview ect) I-130 goal (5 months) but being told 6-9 months maybe 12.. So the K3 visa typically never makes it all the way through before the I-130 is approved.. As far as it going to the bottom of the pile? If that was true then service requests, calling, inquiry ect should do the same correct? That makes common sense.. But I can see how if the I-129f gets canceled at NVC then maybe it would sit at a officers desk until I-130 gets attached which could delay at that point.. But it's just how I interpret everything.. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	It's been a while and just got back from visiting the wifey.. We are already planning our next time together for both Christmas and New Years.. Today is 5 months and 1 day for me but they finally processed my service request to correct a typo (in 4 1/2 months!). So even service requests are going super slow.. Yes I do not believe they are transferring the CR1 visa to local offices any more since Feb because there has been no report of anyone in March or recent filers being forwarded.. As far as what type of I-130s are being transfered, I don't have a clue because I did see the list where files was transfered in June! I know VJ makes a small percentage of I-130 somewhere around 1 in 500.. I have to theoricalize that spouse related filers are on a shelf while others are being processed first right now.. At this point a solid answer is what I would want from USCIS!! If it is going to take 2 or 3 years then let me know and bring back the K-3.. The wait is horrible.. And the "New" office has not approved 1 I-130 that I'm aware of nor have they even stated that they was going to process any USC with alien spouse visa, so don't get your hopes high on this or you may get disappointed because right now it's just a dust bowl of applications.. So where is April's files? All of ours are at NBC if your a USC living in the US filing for Alien spouse.. For children, parents, ect they are being transfered (processed 2-3 months at CSC ect).. For USC living abroad was being processed faster but seemed to stop at April.. But my info is based on Feb thru May on VJ and also from USCIS website mixing it all together.. 9 out of 10 people told the same it has to be true correct? I set up my timeline here and it said the estimate was Feb or March 2014...oh goodness haha.    Are most people in this thread at the NBC? I've heard they can be faster than the other service centers but I'm not buying it. You know you have mistake on your timeline? Says you got your NOA1 on Aug 23 when you got it on April 23 correct? Just thought I would update you as we wrote to our congressman's immigration aide about the near-complete inaction at NBC (other than processing filers from abroad) and how unfair it was that 1-129F fiancee approvals were flying out of the other service centers in the meantime.   The aide wrote back to say they had hired new adjudicators at NBC. That was all my husband said she said. So I guess they really are just holding all of the files in an ever increasing pile while they slowly get themselves ready to actually do some work on them. Eventually.   I think a similar thing happened at CSC earlier this year with fiancee visas, and as we have seen, the files did move quickly once the adjudicators started working on them.   Fingers crossed they finish their training soon!!! Property tax ect and some reason can't get a I-130 under 4 months!! I just think maybe I need to go fire some politicians.. But I remember reading somewhere that immigration operates with it's own money so knowing I-130 filing fee $420 and amount of receipts received in April 58,379 = $24,519,180 in one month.. That is a lot of money for one month!! If it took 30 min average per I-130 working 8 hours per day 40 hours per week 4 weeks per month .. One employee could do 320 I-130.. It would take 183 employees.. Lets double that number for the people answer phones ect.. 366 employees!! Let's pay everyone $100,000 per year or $8,333 per month.. Employee cost is $3,050,000 $24,519,180 -$3,050,000 = $21,469,180 profit for month of April and everything done within 2 weeks.. It is to complicated to go through 1 by 1 and say this person stay and this person go.. It would be more financial beneficial for the government.. It beneficial for the immigrants. If done correctly it would benefit the whole country in my opinion.. The process we all are going through should be a lot simpler.. Why a simple application can not be all filed at one time and just go to one place I don't understand.. Tax returns are more complicated and has higher volume but get done faster! But also read that need have I-130 filed also so thought waste of money because at time K-3 visa was 9 month total process while I-130 was being approved in 4 months.. But nowwwww I'm thinking if it taking 12 months to get I-130 approved then K-3 actually has time to be approved.. We think Oct and Dec then think maybe better just spend longer time together in Dec.. We chat Skype and Viber.. Files being transferred.. All files when the USC lives in the states are suppose to be transferred to their local office.. I'm thinking maybe the teir 2 just don't want to go through the effort to see if files are being transferred or maybe some are not.. But can get a idea on how many files your local office has by here http://dashboard.usc...=22&charttype=1 To talk to a teir 2... You can be confrontational and persistent to be transfered or you can ask questions that the teir 1 does not have answers about.. For example: teir 1 does not have access to your personal info whereas teir 2 does.. For me I just ask about status of a service request to change my personal info (which they can not see) and then asked if I can be transferred to someone who could actually look at it (teir 2).. Ummm any hint of why they are 11.9 months behind and 1,700 petitions pending? Maybe because they only work 26 hours a week!! My rant of the day.. 26 hours a week I'm screwed if my petition is transferred And I been there.. They don't start at 7:30 either.. Your file is still at the NBC and is under review / processing.. We are currently experiencing a huge amount of applications and may be 6-9 months before your file is processed.. No your file is not going to be transfered unless we need more information or interview.. Then they are just going to keep repeating same thing over and over.. Be prepared!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	I read one person was told "It would not be transfered". Then after approval they found out it was transferred.. I think maybe they just go by work load of the local office.. Because if you think about approval times.. People filing from abroad is getting NOA2 faster which is processed by NBC because there is no local office.. Well if our file was not going to a local office wouldn't our files be approved at the same speed? So I came up with my "personal theory".. Let's say at the NBC files are scanned and separated by local offices.. Ones without local offices get approved in order.. Ones with local offices sit for transfer until the local office gets within 6 month process time then gets sent.. At end of 6 months if local office isn't caught up then NBC will process it.. Which puts you to the 6-9 month wait.. Maybe longer if you get sent at the 5 month wait for transfer which could take up to 11-12 months.. This may be the reason for so much conterversy over one person calling vs the next.. For example.. That one sheet shows my local office Memphis processing approx. 439 per quarter but have approx. 1747 pending.. Simple math show they are 11.9 months behind.. So maybe my case sits for 6 months then NBC will process it as overflow from my local office unless there is RFE or need for interview it piles into the 11.9 month wait.. But Portland, Or is 4.7 months behind so files will almost be transferred immediately to that local office.. This is just my common sense theory but makes sense.. Teir 1 said cases are transfered to you local office for adjustments Middle of March.. Info pass at local office said my case would only be transferred if have they have questions (RFE) or need to interview me Middle of March.. Teir 1 (didn't ask) End of March filed I-130 April 10th.. Teir 1 service request because I put wrong year I was born on my I-130 and correcting it (didn't ask about transfered) End of June.. Teir 1 my case will not be transfered This week..
