But no, the interview can be in english or the official language of that country. In most cases anyway. The interviewer will most likely ask questions to establish the validity of the relationship. They will ask questions about you to make sure your fiance knows you. Unless you have a criminal record, most of the questions should be easy. Stating when you are to start and what your agreed upon salary is. If you report it on the form, you need to show documentation to support it, But if your income by itself is suffcient, then you dont need to show much else. But considering that you will be between jobs for a bit, it might help that to show that you have other means of support. If you need the 2004 return, you can request a tax transcript from the IRS. I would actually contact the consulate in Thailand, explain your situation and ask them what type of documentation would be best. I-134 is not legally binding, nor is it used by all consulates. Some consulates might want 3 years of tax returns while others are fine with one. Hi Everyone, Just wanted to Congratulate everyone who already has NOA1's 2s and beyond...We had to file at CSC ((( The average time so far is 94 days...But we had the most recent touch on March 12. I hope that's a good sign, no RFEs yet, and praying there won't be any. That's my biggest worry, I didn't have anyone here who could read through our application for me . It's really annoying that there is such a huge difference in timelines for people who filed at CSC vs. VSC, I wish they would do something about that...Anyway, sorry for complaining. How long would you wait before pulling the congressman card? It wouldn't be such a biggie for me since both my bosses know him and I work for two federally funded programs that are his babies, but I don't want to go there just because my NOA2 is taking a bit longer than everyone else's because I might truly need his help later. His local office is two blocks from my apartment so when he's local, I may just plant my tushy outside his office. And does it mean anything if the NOA1 takes longer for one person than another? I can't read the number on the back of my check and I am just getting worried since I haven't heard anything. I hope I didn't mess anything up. Same thing happened to us. Numbers weren't readable because of poor quality image. My fiance ordered the original check, but the NoA1 came sooner than it. Got check cashed notification today, but like what others have experienced the numbers are not readable, they are clumped together. The process of waiting for NOA1 is agonizing already and Once we have a check cashed notification in the email, we can't read the numbers on the poor quality image. But there's this one thing is readable enough, it says "California" However I still am glad that finally there is a progress for us.
